Kanye West was formally booked at a Los Angeles police Station on Thursday (March 27) and U.O.E.N.O. it. The rapper-producer was booked in connection to his misdemeanor battery case for assaulting a photographer at LAX.
According to TMZ, Yeezy spent only 49 minutes in police custody and he was out. West arrived at the LAPD station at 4:30PM to get his mugshot taken and get fingerprinted.
Sadly, the LAPD doesn’t release mugshots to the press.
West was ordered to get a booking record as part of his recent no contest plea deal to misdemeanor battery against photographer Daniel Ramos last summer at LAX.
The judge sentenced him to serve two years of probation and perform 250 hours of community service. In addition, the G.O.O.D. Music leader must attend 24 anger management sessions and pay restitution to the victim.
Lawyer Gloria Allred has filed a civil suit against West on behalf of Ramos, who claims that West assaulted him in an unprovoked attack and threw his camera to the ground during the altercation.
