Sevyn Streeter Partners with YG on 'nEXt (Remix)'

After dropping one of the year’s best releases in ‘My Krazy Life,’ it’s time for YG to master the next frontier: guest verses. On Friday (May 16), R&B singer Sevyn Streeter premiered the remix to her latest single ‘nEXT,’ which features the Bompton rhymer.

On the song, the 27-year-old songstress yearns for the love of her former boyfriend despite their past tumultuous relationship.

“It’s something between us / A certain fire in our love / It’s unreleasable, unbelievable,” she sings.

YG’s contribution includes an introductory verse and another succinct set of bars. The ‘My N—-’ rapper fits right along to the song’s concept as he’s not quite ready to leave his ex-girlfriend.

“Except the sex with my ex is the reason she probably be my next chick,” he laments.

If you are a fan of YG, you can also hear him spit rhymes on Jeremih’s potential club smash ‘Don’t Tell ‘Em.’

Pell Looks Toward A Better Life In 'Dollar Store' Video

If you’re tired of your minimum wage job and am looking to do more, Pell‘s ‘Dollar Store’ is the video for you.

Directed by Echomech and the 21-year-old rapper himself, the video delves into Pell’s hopes to leave his job at the local drugstore to become a big-time hip-hop star. Aside from shots of him stocking shelves and manning the cash register, we see him casually dressed in dark jeans, red boxers and a dark green button-down shirt.

Hailing from New Orleans, Pell wants to show that there’s more to hip-hop than just rapping about parties and luxuries. On ‘Dollar Store,’ which is produced by Ludwig Goransso of Roc Nation fame, the rapper not only spits rhymes listing all his ambitions as an artist but also give some advice to people who want to chase their dreams, too.

“You and me got lots of time / Don’t feign a thing / The world is ours / Me and you / The same as we / Both of us can make believe / So put your foot on the gas / Don’t why you in that trying to do the right thing / So put your foot on the breaks and take some time for yourself / And runaway up on this night train,” he sings on the chorus.

“I’m excited to release ‘Dollar Store’ because it’s a true showcase of what to expect on my upcoming project, ‘Floating While Dreaming,’” said Pell in a statement. “I aspire to relate to anyone who has had to go through a struggle to achieve true happiness. It’s a key to understanding how I assessed my struggles and conquered them by chasing my dreams. I hope everyone can enjoy and realize they’re getting to know the real me.”

‘Dollar Store’ is his latest single off his upcoming debut album, ‘Floating While Dreaming’, set to premiere via iTunes on May 20.

Model Irina Shayk has made a career out of showcasing her flawless figure. However, when it comes to promoting social causes, the Sports Illustrated beauty may have taken flaunting her physique a little too far.

Shayk took to Instagram and shared a photo not unlike many other celebs, in support of the return of 276 kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls from a group of Islamist militants called the Boko Haram. Most celebs hold up signs that read "#BringBackOurGirls," as did Shayk, but she chose to go topless for the cause.

She immediately received backlash from followers who felt her lack of clothing would take attention away from the cause. There were some, however, who appreciated the gesture but critiqued her delivery.

Tyler, the Creator Says Iggy Azalea 'Stinks,' Sparks Beef On Twitter

Off come the gloves, and in comes the beef between Iggy Azalea and Tyler, the Creator, and it all started on B.E.T’s ’106 & Park.’ Here are the details of round one:

Tyler threw the first jab when he and his Odd Future click dropped by the popular cable show yesterday (May 15), and when the group was presented with photos of three female celebrities, and asked who they would kiss, marry, or diss, here’s what Tyler said about Ms. Azalea:

“I don’t want Iggy, she stinks,” he said, which brought immediate laughter from the audience. “She got shots in her thump. I want real booty, you feel me.” And soon after, the Australian beauty replied through Twitter, which started round two.

“Tyler the creator is beyond immature,” she wrote. “I’ve always believed you had something more to offer the world. Shame to see you be so rude….People that make enemies and talk s–t about people they’ve never even said hi to trip me out. I see it all the time. Strange world.”

But instead of taking the verbal spat to another level, the Odd Future leader didn’t seem interested in continuing it. “Baby girl that wasn’t me. I don’t dress like that. Watchu talkin bout?” he tweeted.

Afterwards, Iggy said she wasn’t phased by the whole thing, and recognized that the Los Angeles native was just dissing her to get more media attention. “Do ya thing, get your promo,” she wrote. “No skin off my back. The energy you put out is what you eventually get back. [It] doesn’t effect me,” which prompted an apology from Tyler.

“Iggy I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings,” he responded.

And that ladies and gentleman was the entire beef, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to go any further from here. But of course time will tell.

XXL Lists Young Thug Among the Few to Turn Down Freshmen List (@youngthug)

Young Thug is one of the hottest artists this year, so it's only natural that XXL would choose him for their annual Freshmen list; however, the Atlanta rapper turned down the opportunity. Vanessa Satten, the magazine's Editor-in-Chief, revealed that the "Stoner" rapper initially confirmed the invitation, but 11 hours before the shoot, one of his people called to cancel without reason.

Other rappers who have turned down the invitation include Nicki Minaj, A$AP Rocky, Jay Electronica, Drake, Vado, and Earl Sweatshirt. As for Young Thug, he's expressed his disinterest with the media in the past, and Complex revealed that their May cover almost didn't happen for this reason. He had canceled twice before, and was thinking of shooting a music video instead of shooting the cover. The decision was contemplated the night before, but the stars aligned with a little help from Birdman.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to Be Married in Italy Not France

So it’s actually not Paris, it’s Italy.

That’s what a lot of people are finding out this morning about Kanye West‘s and Kim Kardashian‘s upcoming wedding, as ET News revealed the couple will exchange vows in the city of Florence on May 24, instead of Paris as many people first believed.

But that doesn’t mean the French city is totally out of the picture, because guests will arrive there first for a pre-wedding dinner, and then be flown to the country also known as “The Boot” for the actual ceremony.

However, that may all be a ploy just to surprise the wedding guests, says an inside source for Us Weekly, and Kim and Kayne are hiding the true details until the weekend of May 24.

“Kim and Kanye have told all guests different info,” says the source. “No one knows all of the details.”

Since the two announced their engagement back in 2013, there has been all types of speculation about where and when the wedding will take place, and for two people who don’t seem to mind revealing certain details about their personal life to the public, they’ve done a good job of keeping info about their nuptials a secret.

Whether the famed pair really do get married in Florence, Italy remains to be seen, but so far they have a lot of people in the media guessing, which is a smart move on their part, considering their wedding will be one of the most talked about events of the year.

Although Rihanna’s Instagram account is no where to be found, the R&B singer is still causing a stir with her selfies on Twitter. RiRi went on the social-networking website to reveal her new pink wig.

“We raided Nicki’s wig closet for the summer! Bad gals just wanna have fun!” she tweeted to her fans.

After seeing the pic, Nick Minaj went on Instagram and responded, “YASSS bitch yasssssssss!!!!!!!!!”

Rihanna then debuted her pink wig at the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game on Thursday (May 16).

It’s hard to believe that the Bajan beauty wasn’t a distraction at courtside with her see-through belly shirt (which revealed her pierced nipple) and blue jeans.

Overall, Rihanna looked fabulous in pink. And we are loving the accessories — the diamond “R” necklace is to die for. Extra points for the matching lipstick and painted pink fingernails.

2014 is slowly turning into the year of the Nike Air Huarache as it feels like we’ve seen more of the sneaker in the last few weeks than the last few years. Well don’t expect things to slow down anytime soon as it looks like we’ll get four new colorways sometime soon.

We will actually be getting the Nike Air Huarache LE which is basically the same as the original flavor just with retooled toebox tacked on. The retooling is pretty subtle but the colorways it is being served up in are definitely not. Tonal olive, black and volt, grey and orange and a colorful black, gold and magenta colorway all light up our browser window and things could not look brighter for this model.

There is no set date for this delivery of Nike Air Huarache LE’s but just by virtue of the model itself we are guesstimating that you’ll be able to cop a pair before the leaves change.

Odd Future to Open for Eminem at Wembley Stadium [VIDEO]

If Eminem becoming the first rapper to perform at Wembley Stadium is not exciting enough, the Detroit rhymer will also be joined by hip-hop’s most maniacal group Odd Future.

The Los Angeles rap collective will open for Slim Shady when he performs at London’s historic venue in July.

Em informed his fans about OF’s inclusion on Twitter. He tweeted, “My special guests at Wembley will include @fucktyler and Odd Future. But not @earlxsweat I guess.”

Tyler, the Creator also confirmed the news with a video on Instagram. “Me and Earl Sweatshirt and the rest of Odd Future are gonna be with Marshall in London on two shows before he goes on,” he said.

Although Earl Sweatshirt said that he wouldn’t be there, it appears that he was joking. Plus, he has opened for Eminem before and is a huge fan of his music.

Nevertheless, Eminem’s concerts at Wembley Stadium will take place on July 11 and 12. Tickets for the first date are already sold out.

Eminem follows behind rock icons The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd who all have performed at the historic 90,000-capacity venue.

Lil Wayne Returns to Form on 'D'usse'

Well, that didn’t take long. After letting fans take a sip of ‘D’usse’ in his latest ‘Weezy Wednesdays’ episode yesterday (May 15), Lil Wayne pours out the full version of his brand new track. The bad news: Jay Z doesn’t appear on the song. The good news: he didn’t need to, because Weezy kills this all by his damn self.

Riding the wave of Lee Major’s frenetic, triumphant beat, the YMCMB leader spits with the urgency, hunger and unhinged flair that defined his late ’00s dominance. “Shoot you in that Earth, get earth worms on me, n—a / I’ve been did my time, I’m getting better with time / But real n—as don’t whine, we’ll burn down your vineyard,” he raps.

The song is currently available as a free download, so we can assume this won’t be appearing on his upcoming final album, ‘Tha Carter V,’ which only makes us more excited for what did make the cut. Yup, it sounds like Weezy F. Baby is going out with a bang.

6 Brothers Charged With Rape of Sister While Parents Watched

Police in North Carolina just hit six brothers with rape and sexual assault charges for allegedly abusing their now teenage sister for over a decade.

Aaron Jackson, 19; Benjamin Jackson, 19; Nathaniel Jackson, 21; Mathew Jackson, 23; Jon Jackson, 25; and Eric Jackson, 27, were arrested last Tuesday (May 6). Authorities say they have been following the case for a year, and that the now 16-year-old sister was abused between the ages of 4 and 14.

According to a neighbor, all seven kids were home schooled and "kept to themselves." The parents also face felony child abuse charges because they witnessed the repeated rapes. Perquimans County Sheriff Eric Tilley said "I lay blame on the parents, and their charges are less than what the boys are going to get."

Eldest brother Eric confessed to a family pastor back in 2012. The pastor encouraged him to tell police, which he did, setting off the investigation:

"How many people are going to walk into a law enforcement office and say 'I had sex with my sister?' It just doesn't happen," said Tilley. "But that's one thing... these kids, they do have a belief in the Bible. They knew it was wrong and they had to get it out."

Once suspicions rose, the parents attempted to pick up and move to Colorado, but the daughter soon contacted Colorado Child Protective Services, who turned the case over to police.

According to Tilley, "For the first kid (Eric) it seems to be like a relief, but even when they came to turn themselves in last week, it was like, 'We're here.' I don't think they know the magnitude of what they'd done because I don't think they know it was wrong. They haven't been taught any differently."

All six brothers are being held on $150,000 bond and awaiting arraignment. The parents were released on $15,000 bond.

Donald Sterling Threatens to Sue NBA, Refuses to Pay Fine

Donald Sterling is now taking actions to preserve his legacy by threatening to sue the NBA.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sterling has hired attorney Maxwell Blecher who on Sterling's behalf, sent a letter to NBA executive Rick Buchanan threatening to sue over the punishment issued to him.

Blecher states that Sterling did nothing wrong and announced that Sterling will not pay the $2.5M fine that is already past due. Blecher also included that the statements Sterling made in the audio recording about minorities and Magic Johnson aren't aligned with NBA's rule of unethical standards.

This week, Sterling apologized for the comments he made about Johnson in an interview with Anderson Cooper. He also says that he made a terrible mistake, which contradicts the point Blecher makes in his letter to the NBA.
