Keyshia Cole's Victim Claims Assault Was Unprovoked
A day after Keyshia Cole allegedly pummeled a woman at the Los Angeles-area condo of Cash Money CEO Birdman, the alleged victim reportedly claims the attack was unprovoked.
According to TMZ, the mysterious woman is Sabrina Mercadel, an employee for Cash Money for over a decade. There’s no word on her actual job title for the label or why she was at Birdman’s place.
An insider told the gossip website that Mercadel was walking out of the bathroom with Cole saw her and went on the attack. The ‘Rick James’ singer purportedly yelled, “What are you doing with my man?!” during the assault. There were also four other people in the condo who may have witnessed the attack, which happened around 5AM PT.
As we previously reported, the alleged victim was left with scratches on her face. Police were eventually called and Cole was promptly arrested and charged with battery. She posted $46,000 bail early Friday morning (Sept. 19).
Cole has not addressed the media about her arrest. However, on her Instagram page, the singer continues to re-post the front cover of her next album ‘The Point of No Return,’ which arrives in stores on Oct. 7. Mercadel’s Twitter page has remain dormant since Sept. 18.
Reps for Cash Money Records has no comment on the matter.

Bun B Releases New Era x Astros Limited-Edition Cap
Trill OG rapper Bun B wears many hats. He’s a rapper (of course), a professor at Rice University, sports analyst and a food blogger. Now the veteran rhyme-slinger can add designer to his resume. The Texas native has teamed up with New Era to design a new limited edition Astro baseball cap collection.
The goal with the collection is to bring Houston pride and the aesthetic of the Astros together. The three styles of the 9FIFTY hats are different but all blend the retro colors of orange, navy, black and white together with a snap or strapback on the models.
There’s a premium version of the hat that features a faux leather navy crown, regular visor and a strapback. The second hat is a white and orange snapback and features the current Astros logo with the state of Texas in the backdrop. Finally, an all-black colorway cap comes in a faux leather visor and glow-in-the-dark logos of Bun B and the state of Texas. There’s also reflective taping around the rear arch.
The Bun B x New Era x Astros cap will only be available at Academy Sports + Outdoors locations in the $35-40 price range. You can also cop them at the Astros team stores in Minute Maid Park in Houston.
We take our hats off to Bun B for giving back to the Astros baseball team and the Houston community.

T.I. Releases Tracklisting For 'Paperwork'
Columbia Records Along with his reality TV show and appearances on just about everyone else’s album this year, T.I. has finally updated fans on his own project, ‘Paperwork: The Motion Picture.’
The 18-track LP, which is executive produced by Pharrell Williams, features guests such as Chris Brown, Jeezy, The-Dream, Trae Tha Truth, Victoria Money, Usher, Young Thug and of course Iggy Azalea, who appears on Tip’s first single ‘No Mediocre.’
Some of the song titles include ‘Jet Fuel,’ ‘About My Issue,’ featuring Nipsey Hussle, and ‘Paperwork,’ featuring Pharrell.
In an interview with RevoltTV earlier this year, The King of The South talked about first working with the ‘Happy’ singer and what his artistic goals were for ‘Paperwork.’
“I’m just trying to continue to evolve and grow,” he said. “Pharrell is the first A-list producer that I was afforded the opportunity of working with and it wasn’t because my budget afforded it, but it was because he heard something in me [that] was like, ‘Man I need to work with this kid. And every album [since then] we’ve worked together.”
