In a blatant case of art imitating life, Saturday Night Live took the wildly popular "Black Jeopardy" Instagram/Twitter trending topic and wrote a much tamer sketch version that aired this Saturday night on NBC.
The sketch included Kenan Thompson as the host of Black Jeopardy, along with Jay Pharoah, SNL newcomer Sasheer Zamata and well respected comedian Louis C.K. as contestants. As Louis was the only white guy in the sketch, you may be able to see where this is going.

Krayzie Bone is taking the high route in his latest business venture.
According to TMZ, the rapper is in talks to put vending machines in Los Angeles marijuana shops. The rapper was inspired by a vending machine given to him as a gift from a fan.
The company behind the vending machines posted a pic of the final design on Twitter.

During the Legends of Basketball 2014 Tour in Argentina, former NBA star Dennis Rodman hit the court in full drag make-up and a blonde Mohawk. Other OG NBA stars like Gary Payton, Latrell Sprewell, Vin Baker and Jason Williams also hit the court, and have no doubt known Rodman long enough to not be fazed.
Rodman has always has eccentric tastes, but it's been years since we've seen it on the court.

Kobe Bryant's comments on Trayvon Martin have pushed an activist to boycott the player.
According to Fox News, Najee Ali, director of Project Islamic H.O.P.E. and supporter of Trayvon Martin called for a boycott of Kobe Bryant and his merchandise.
"African American youth should no longer buy Bryant's jerseys or shoes and should boycott all products he endorses," Ali said in a statement. "Bryant doesn't identify with the struggle that our African-American youth face nationally. So why should we continue to support Bryant who has never truly identified with the African American experience."
Ali also sent a special message to the Martin family on Facebook after Kobe's comments on Friday.
"I'm not a ball player like Kobe Bryant. But God put me on this earth to help people. I'm going to speak up for Trayvon Martin because he can't speak himself. To my friend Sybrina Fulton Trayvon's mom. We love you. L.A has your family's back. We'll keep dealing with Kobe. You keep staying strong. Najee Ali"
Kobe's was interviewed by the New Yorker and sparked a debate Thursday after criticism of African American intent when supporting the Trayvon Martin case in 2013. "I won't react to something just because I'm supposed to, because I'm an African-American." he said.

Who would have thought 20 years ago that a young kid from Queensbridge, N.Y., would change hip-hop and the world with just one album. But on Saturday night (March 30), Nas, born Nasir Jones, perform his influential 1994 album ‘Illmatic’ in its entirety for the world at John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
According to the Washington Post, Nas gave a stellar performance of his 10-song album at the prestigious cultural institution.
The event is part of Nas’ latest tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Illmatic’ and to kick off the 20-day One Mic Hip-Hop Culture Worldwide festival at the Kennedy Center.
Backed by the 40-member National Symphony Orchestra with conductor Steven Reineke, Nas took audiences back to hip-hop’s golden era. The crowd rapped along to such ‘Illmatic’ classic as ‘It Ain’t Hard to Tell,’ ‘One Love’ and ‘Life’s a Bitch.’
The 40-year-old rhymer, dressed in a snazzy black tuxedo, added some of his noteworthy songs to help segued into the classic material.’ For example, Nas rapped a few verses from ‘If I Ruled the World’ and then segued into the Pete Rock-produced ‘The World Is Yours.’ Nice touch.
Nas even took it back further and performed his first rap cameo on Main Source’s ‘Live at the Bar-B-Q.’ He also rocked a medley of hits including ‘Street Dreams,’ ‘U Da Man’ and ‘Made You Look.’
Afterward, Nas shook hands with the NSO conductor and thanked the audience for their participation. The hip-hop legend even joked that he might get a crib in the District.

Snoop Dogg’s beloved uncle June Bugg has officially passed away after a long bout with colon cancer.
The 70-year-old mentor of the Doggfather died on Sunday (March 30), according to his nephew Daz Dillinger. He tweeted:
This is a little confusing because on March 22 Snoop Dogg went on Twitter to announce that June Bugg had died. But it looks like he might have been comatose. Doctors had given June Bugg one day to live but he held on for a week longer than expected.
Thankfully, the ‘Gin & Juice’ rapper was able to see his uncle and he reportedly acknowledged Snoop’s presence before he died.
Uncle June Bugg was an adviser to Snoop Dogg and often joined him on tour as his background dancer. He also starred in ‘Snoop’s Upside Your Head’ video from ‘Tha Doggfather’ album.
Initially, upon hearing the sad news of June Bugg’s death, friends and family expressed their condolences on Twitter.
“Enjoyed watching big homie do his stuff on stage. Prayers 2 @SnoopDogg @DAZDILLINGER and family. RIP. #UNCLEJUNEBUG,” tweeted Kendrick Lamar.
“RIP To June Bugg…. Say A Prayer Fo @snoopdogg He Just Lost His Uncle.. A Legend…,” wrote TraeThatTruth.

If you are a rapper, you must have confidence in your lyrical game. New York rapper Papoose might be too confident as he recently proclaimed that he’s the best rapper out of the Big Apple, period.
“Nobody is better than me — Jay Z, nobody,” the Brooklyn MC boasts to the New York Daily News in an interview. “None are more lyrically inclined than me. None of them. I’m definitely the King of New York. I am the greatest out of New York.”
It gets better.
“When I look in the mirror, I don’t see Jay Z — I see Papoose,” he continued. “More power to him, but he’s not better than me.”
Of course, his “King of New York” statements is debatable but we have to admit Papoose has a crazy lyrical flow. His diss songs against Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean and Trinidad James are legendary, so his braggadocios remarks are not too far off. Right?
“My pen game is the most immaculate,” Pap tells NYDN. “I bring the most to the table on every level, concept, substance.”
Meanwhile, Papoose’s wife, Remy Ma, will be released from prison on July 31.

There was plenty of fun and green stuff at the 2014 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 29). Pharrell Williams was in the building to hand out trophies and, uh, get slimed.
Not for nothing, several celebrities were getting hit with the green goo all night. Host Mark Wahlberg proclaimed he was “unslimeable” but that was proven to be untrue.
Presenters Williams and actress Kaley Cuoco were the first people to get slimed at the KCAs.
Skateboard P, who was wearing a SpongeBob SquarePants pajamas onesie, got sprayed on by a giant hose filled with the green stuff. The flow was so powerful that it almost knocked him off the stage. Cuoco, who was looking fabulous in her sparkly mini-dress, was totally drenched in the green goop.
The ‘Happy’ creator didn’t seem to mind the green shower. Williams joins an exclusive club of slimed celebs that includes Justin Bieber, Halle Berry, Katy Perry and others.
Aside from the ongoing slime-fest, there were winners at the Kids’ Choice Awards.
Justin Timberlake won for Favorite Male Singer, while Ariana Grande took home a trophy for Favorite TV Actress.
In addition, crooner Aloe Blacc performed his hit single, ‘Wake Me Up’ and his new anthem, ‘I’m the Man.’
Overall, the Kids’ Choice Awards was a night of happy, slimy people.

DeSean Jackson has responded to recent allegations of gang membership after getting cut from the Philadelphia Eagles earlier today (March 28.)
After the player was cut from the Eagles, several news outlets reported that the wide receiver was cut due to his alleged ties with gang members. In a statement posted on his Facebook page, the player denies any gang activity and thanks the coaches for his time with the team.
"First I would like to thank the Eagles organization, the Eagles fans and the city of Philadelphia for my time in Philly. I would also like to thank coach Andy Reed [sic] for bringing me in. Secondly, I would like to address the misleading and unfounded reports that my release has anything to do with any affiliation that has been speculated surrounding the company I keep off of the field. I would like to make it very clear that I am not and never have been part of any gang. I am not a gang member and to speculate and assume that I am involved in such activity off the field is reckless and irresponsible. I work very hard on and off the field and I am a good person with good values. I am proud of the accomplishments that I have made both on and off the field. I have worked tirelessly to give back to my community and have a positive impact on those in need. It is unfortunate that I now have to defend myself and my intentions. These reports are irresponsible and just not true . I look forward to working hard for my new team. God Bless."
Jackson's spokeswoman Denise White told reporters that six NFL teams have already reached out to the player.
"He's like, 'I'm ready for my next team. I want to go in there, show them I am the Pro Bowl player that I am and give them 110%,' " White said. "He's not letting this get him down, although it definitely concerns him, and he doesn't like what's going on. At the same time he has a job to do, and he knows whatever team he ends up on, he needs to be ready. He wants to go somewhere where they want him."

The NBA champ is executive producing a new comedy series on STARZ entitled "Survivor's Remorse," and just revealed the cast. The show centers around Cam Calloway, a basketball powerhouse in his early 20s, and how he and his family handle his new found fame and fortune.
Jessie T. Usher of "Level Up" will play the lead as Cam Calloway. Ronreaco Lee, best known for his role on "Sister, Sister" and most recently BET's "Let's Stay Together" will play Cam's cousin Reggie Vaughn. Erica Ash of Real Husbands of Hollywood will play Cam's sister and Teyonah Parris of "Mad Men" will play Reggie's wife. Tichina Arnold will be Cam's mother and Mike Epps plays Cam's uncle Julius, who moves from the Dorchester projects to an Atlanta mansion with his family after Cam gets a big pro contract.

Georgia man Clinton Ward, 49 was arrested for beating up his stepdaughter's boyfriend after discovering the two had taken a shower together.
Ward was not home when the teen couple stepped in the shower, according to the stepdaughter's statement to police. Ward told police when he got home, he initially thought his stepdaughter was on the speakerphone. When the couple exited the shower, they were greeted by Ward on the couch, who pushed his stepdaughter to the side and began beating the still naked teen boy, slamming him against the wall and repeatedly punching him in the face and chest.
Ward then called 911 himself to report that the unknown teen was in the apartment. Ward admitted to punching the teen. He was then arrested for "maliciously causing a child under the age of 18 cruel, excessive or mental pain" as well as for "allowing a child under the age of 18 to witness the assault."

A young woman named Gilliane Chrisphonte started a fund raiser at GoFundMe.com in order to help raise money to battle her Lymphoma. Meek Mill in cooperation with popular charity Robin Hood donated to the young woman himself, as well as posting a link to her fund page on his Instagram, helping her to surpass her $12,000 goal.
Mill has chosen not to publicize exactly how much he gave.

Over the last few weeks, Columbus Short has been in some pretty hot water. He was accused of domestic battery as well as engaging in a bar fight. Now it seems that "Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes is considering letting go of the actor by possibly killing off his role.
A source close to production on Scandal revealed to HipHollywood:
"Shonda Rhimes doesn't 'tolerate negative press' and she 'issued him a warning to get his personal issues sorted out.' We are told that if the actor 'continues with his violent behavior, he could get the ax from the show.'"
Only time will tell if Short can negate this negative press, or if Rhimes will keep her word and let him go. Is this a fair ultimatum for the star? Let us know below.

While calling in to Atlanta's V-103 to promote her new single, "Rick James" featuring Juicy J, Keyshia Cole took offense to DJ Wanda Smith asking if the singer was "wifey material." While Smith may not have meant any harm, Cole was clearly offended by the question, as she is currently separated from NBA baller Daniel "Boobie" Gibson.
Wanda: Do you feel like you were wifey material?
Keyshia: You know what? Y'all really f*ckin' with my sh*t right now. I got some other sh*t going on. What y'all wanna talk about? Tell me now.
Wanda: You were so busy, you had your career popping off and you were doing your thing. Then you had to phase out and start doing the wifey things, the cooking, taking care of the kids. Were you really ready for that or were you still trying to do your music thing?
Keyshia: So you trying to insinuate that I was one-dimensional?
Wanda: Don't take it like that because I know at a time in my life, I had to pull back my career and... like with Monica! Right now, she's a little quiet and doing her thing.
Keyshia: Listen! Monica I'm sure is doing her thing. This ain't no first rodeo for Monica. She's been through the ringer, this, that and the other. But at the end of the day, we can handle all that!
