LGBT People Are Being Harassed and Beaten On Camera In Russia

If you've been keeping up with the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, you are probably aware of the countries harsh laws against LGBT people. With Russian president Vladmir Puntin claiming that it is safe for gays in Russia, this video proves otherwise.

The Human Rights Organization has found videos online that show people out in the open in Russia taunting and beating up gay people. There are also instances where police are arresting the victims instead of the attackers.

According to The Russian LGBT Network, three deaths were reported last year incited by homophobia.

People are also punished who if they violate the country's LGBT anti-propaganda law. They can face deportation and time in jail.

The Human Rights watch are calling on Russian leaders to change their anti-gay laws and punish the suspects who beat, threaten and harm LGBT people.

"The Russian authorities have the power to protect the rights of LGBT people, but instead they are ignoring their responsibility to do so," said Tanya Cooper, Russia researcher at Human Rights Watch. "By turning a blind eye to hateful homophobic rhetoric and violence, Russian authorities are sending a dangerous message as the world is about to arrive on its doorstep for the Olympics that there is nothing wrong with attacks on gay people."

Some of the images in the video are graphic, watch with caution.

Insane Prank Show Launches Sleeping Man 150 Feet Into the Air

The prank shows in the United States are bland as oatmeal when matched up against the stuff that comes out of Japan. It seems the Japanese prank shows are in a perpetual battle to see who can come up with the most extreme gags, and a recent shenanigan featured on a program called "Dokkiri Award" may lead the list of most insane.

In the above video, which is all in Japanese but it doesn't matter one bit, a comedian named Toshiaki Kasuga is sleeping in a cabin near Mt. Fuji. At some point during his slumber, a team sneaks in, straps him to his bed, and attaches his bed to a massive two-crane slingshot.

Then, after a 10-second countdown Kasuga has his world absolutely rocked. Fireworks ignite beneath the bed, and as he looks around perplexed the bed blasts straight through the cabin's roof and 150 feet into the air.

The camera angle which captures the close-up of Kasuga's face is priceless.

Iggy Azalea Taps Charli XCX for 'Fancy'

Iggy Azalea FancyTwitter

It looks like Iggy Azalea is going to release her debut album, ‘The New Classic,’ this year. During her interview with BBC Radio 1, the Aussie rapper premiered the set’s kick-off single, ‘Fancy’ featuring pop-rock singer Charli XCX.

The bouncy hip-pop song consists of stabbing synths, finger snaps and a heavy beat that will no doubt get major spins on the radio and in the clubs.

On the track, Azalea flexes her sex appeal and she lets the world know why she’s the flyest chick in the game.

“First things first I’m the realest / Drop this and let the whole world feel it / I’m still in the murda bizness / I can hold you down like I’m giving lessons in Physics,” she raps.

Charli XCX gives the song its pop flavor on the hook, singing, “I’m so fancy / You already know / I’m in the fast lane / From L.A. to Tokyo.”

This is a dope collaboration that’s dripping with feminine swagger. Unfortunately, the song won’t hit digital stores until April 6, so for now, it’s just the radio rip.

“I’m glad everyone is liking the new single,” Azalea tweeted to her fans.

Meanwhile, the ‘Work’ rhymer will release ‘The New Classic’ April 14.

Self-Described 'Fat Girl Dancer' Works It Like a Champ

Whitney Thore started dancing when she was four years old, but stopped in college after experiencing inexplicable weight gain.

"Unable to face my reflection, I failed out of dance class my first semester," Thore told The Huffington Post in an email. "By the time I had graduated college, been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, moved to Korea, and gained 200 pounds, I was finally able to dance socially, at a club or party, but never dreamed I would take a class or perform publicly ever again."

Believing her dancing days were over, the blogger and radio producer decided to take a chance and make a "Fat Girl Dancing" video series at the suggestion of Jared Pike, one of the hosts of the morning radio show she produces.

We'd say she's well up to the task. Check out Thore cutting a rug to Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty to Me" up top.

Tatyana Ali is returning to music. The actress, most known for her role on ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ debuted her new song, ‘Wait For It,’ on ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ Tuesday night (Feb. 4).

‘Wait For It’ is an upbeat track centered on finding a love that takes your breath away. The effort is part of Tatyana’s new five-song EP, ‘Hello,’ which was released independently by the singer.

The 35-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y., native released her last album, ‘Kiss the Sky,’ in 1998. On ‘Hello,’ she’s returning with a more mature vibe. “It’s been a really long time since I’ve done anything musically,” she told Arsenio. “I feel like I’m really able to be myself… It’s an introduction.”

Drake, on the other hand, shouted Tatyana out on his ‘Tuscan Leather’ with the line, “The fresh prince, just had dinner with Tatyana, no lie / All these ’90′s fantasies on my mind / The difference is that with mine, they all come true in due time.”

Could Drake be the love she sings about on ‘Wait For It’? Tell us what you think in the comments below.

50 Cent is steadily expanding his growing business empire. The rapper and entrepreneur is linking his SMS Audio with NASCAR.

The partnership involves backing driver Brandon Davis with Fif’s SMS Audio brand. “I’m an entrepreneur, 50′s an entrepreneur. That piece is it, is the synergy that pulled it all together,” said Davis, the owner of Swan Racing. “You have two entrepreneur-minded people coming together.”

The driver praised the rapper’s love of cars too. “He’s a car guy. He’s into cars, into muscle cars, into fast cars, high-end cars, exotic cars. And one thing I’ve learned with people in different areas is, once they experience a race, if they’re already into cars and speed, you go to a NASCAR race and you’re hooked. I’m sure that had something to do with it.”

As part of the deal, 50 Cent will make appearances at races throughout the NASCAR season. In a statement, he called the pairing “the perfect match” for SMS Audio.
