Beastie Boys' 'Too Many Rappers' Video Featuring Nas Surfaces

Like a late Christmas gift given to you by your out of town aunt, a new video surfaces that’s actually not so new, but it’s incredibly dope nonetheless.

We’re talking about visuals for the Beastie Boys‘ cut ‘Too Many Rappers,’ featuring Nas, off the group’s 2011 album ‘Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.’

Reportedly, the video was discovered by a Beastie fan, and it eventually ended up on the website of Neal Usatin, an editor who’s worked with the group in the past.

Overall, the clip finds all four rappers exchanging bars back and forth, as they walk around town spitting inside a grocery story, a park, the studio, and on stage.

Why the video was never released until now is a mystery, especially since it came out so good, but better late than never, right? Also, it’s great to see group member Adam Yauch, aka MCA, rapping, as he tragically passed away in 2012.

In addition, there’s also a good amount of concert footage in the clip, which shows the Beasties and the Queensbridge legend rock the stage for a large, and presumably very happy crowd.

The video was directed by Roman Coppola, who did a stellar job of capturing the three man group in their natural element, which is performing in front of the camera rapping skillfully, and being extremely comedic.

Eminem Makes Cancer Patient's Final Wish Come True

Despite initiating battles with R&B stars and pop princesses and spitting some of the harshest venom towards people he doesn’t like, Eminem has an altruistic side, which was displayed when he visited a terminally ill high school student who was given just one week to live.

Seventeen-year-old Gage Garmo has been battling Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, and sadly doctors say he doesn’t have much time left. That’s when Garmo’s friends took the initiative to make one of his dreams come true: to have a one-on-one meeting with Mr. Slim Shady.

After starting a social media campaign, while simultaneously organizing a fundraiser, the teen’s buddies were successful in their attempts at reaching Em, which was confirmed by Royce da 5’9″ in an Instagram post.

“Mission accomplished,” he wrote. “God Bless this beautiful kid and thank you guys for all your hard work.”

Clearly, the teen is receiving tons of support and encouragement from his friends and family, but he’s giving others encouragement too.

“He always made me feel like I needed to be positive no matter what,” said Sydney Hodge in an interview with MyFoxDetroit.com. “It was something that was like better for him. He just wanted to see his friends happy no matter what he was going through.”

Another classmate echoed those sentiments.

“Gage was probably my biggest inspiration this year,” said Blake Fetterhoff. “We have helmet stickers with our numbers on my helmet. He probably got me through this season. I couldn’t see this season without him.”

Future Hits the Strip Club in 'Radical' Video

If there’s nothing else that can be said about Future, he has a pretty impressive work ethic since he just dropped visuals for the song ‘Radical,’ after delivering the ‘Mad Luv‘ video just last week. It’s all a part of his Monster Monday music releases. He also enjoys taking in the sights of naked women dancing around for dollars.

In the ‘Radical’ clip, the Freebandz leader joins his crew for a fun evening out at Magic City, the popular Atlanta strip club that’s almost as famous as the southern city itself.

The concept of the video is pretty simple. A bunch of dudes admiring the skillful work of some very curvaceous strippers while folks sip unknown beverages in plastic cups. You know, the typical good time one would have while visiting such establishments.

As far as his wardrobe, Future keeps things fairly casual in a letterman jacket, a Run DMC-like fedora and some schoolboy glasses.

Fellas, try not to get too swept up in the lovely ladies in the club — although that’s a task much easier said than done.

Even though high school proms are still several months away, it’s safe to say that students are making their plans at this very moment. And if you’re a woman who hasn’t secured a date for the prom, you can actually go with Riff Raff for a $28,000 fee.

The zany rapper, who’s now training to be a pro wrestler, has announced that he’ll be your prom date if you can scrape up the necessary dough. He promises that both of you will show up in style, according to a post on his Instagram account.

“Pull up to your prom in a Lamborhini with Jody High Roller for $28,000. Must be 18 +,” he wrote. How did he even come up that amount?

The Houston native also reveals the money will buy you some promotion for the event, so everyone knows who’ll you be arriving with. “List of things when Riff Raff takes you to prom,” wrote Jody Highroller. “Full Twitter & Instagram promo for 7 days saying who you are and that he is taking you to prom. In addition, the 28K will get you videos of Raf freestyling, and the very best hotel suite in town.

Jennifer Lopez Radiates in Plunging Gown at 2015 Golden Globes [PHOTO]

People get excited for award season not only because they’re anticipating who will take home those coveted shiny trophies, but also because they’re anxious to see how Jennifer Lopez, the red carpet fashion killer, will out do herself yet again.

Never one to disappoint, JLo shut it down last night (Jan. 11) at the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards by wearing an embellished nude and silver accented Zuhair Murad gown. The mother of two radiated in the sparkling gown, showing off her glowing skin while flaunting both cleavage and leg with a plunging neckline and a high frontal split.

The dress also had a matching cape, which trailed behind her, taking the elegance level up a notch. A stickler for details, Jenny From the Block paired her gown with Jimmy Choo silver-studded sandals, eye-catching diamond earrings and a champagne-colored clutch.

She gushed about Zuhair Murad to E!’s Ryan Seacrest while on the red carpet. “I love him, he’s one of my favorite designers. I actually had it at the AMAs, but I was like, this is more of a Golden Globes dress,” she said.

While JLo’s dress was the highlight of the evening, John Legend and Common also had their time to shine at the awards ceremony. They took home a Golden Globe for their collaboration ‘Glory’ from the ‘Selma’ movie, which won Best Original Song. It looks like it was a good night for all.

10 Things Rappers Have Taught Chanel West Coast

Chanel West CoastIAmChanelWestCoast.com

Nicki Minaj might be the first lady of Young Money Records, but Chanel West Coast is the label’s budding princess.

Known best for being a cast regular on MTV’s ‘Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory’ and ‘Ridiculousness,’ Chanel has proven that she’s got stage presence, star quality and a big sense of humor. However, she’s also been making strides in the studio. Chanel can rap. ‘Karl,’ ‘Miles and Miles’ and ‘Been On’ is an indication of that. She had her sights set on a music career since she was a kid, getting in front of the mic at 14. Now she’s coming into her own, penning the lyrics she delivers.

“I think I’ve grown a lot since the first time I got on the mic,” the 26-year-old Los Angeles native tells The Boombox. “I started rapping when I was 14, so I was definitely not writing about what I write about now. I didn’t have as much life experience at 14. So I think my lyrics have gotten smarter and I’ve been using more metaphors now. And now I have lot more experience so I have a lot to write about in my music. Just growing up and maturing has made my music so much better.”

She got Lil Wayne’s attention in 2012, when he signed her right after their first meeting. Chanel started to see her music career make waves when she released ‘Karl,’ off her mixtape ‘Now You Know.’ Collaborations with the likes of French Montana on ‘Been On,’ Honey Cocaine on ‘Blueberry Chills‘ and ‘Ain’t Goin Nowhere’ with Frenchie and B.o.B. soon followed.

Now she has an album in the works. However, juggling her schedule with ‘Ridiculousness’ and working on her music can be a bit difficult at times. “With my filming schedule, I have to spend every free minute in the studio to get this album done,” she says. “So it’s been a lot of hard work, but let’s just say I got some good stuff cooking.”

And if you think rapping is all you’ll hear, Chanel, who grew up singing in the choir, has plans to showcase that she’s no one-trick pony. “I definitely think there will be a lot more singing on this album than people expect,” Chanel reveals. I think a lot of people look at me as a rapper, but I do singing as well. So there will be a lot of that on the album. It’s going to be different, let’s just say that. I’m trying to do different music, and I’m trying to be out of the box. Be a little different than what’s out right now.”

Since the entertainer comes across a variety of rappers during her time on TV and in the studio, The Boombox decided to pick her brain to find out what she’s learned along the way — she’s got a lot of stories to share. Check out 10 Things Rappers Have Taught Chanel West Coast.

"From Snoop, I've learned quite a bit. I learned that sometimes I need to keep my mouth shut. It's a long story, but definitely to sometimes keep my mouth shut. I also learned to always ignore the haters. That's definitely what helped me personally."

"I remember a long time ago I was in the booth with Nelly, and I learned at that moment to really let loose and forget about the fact that even though you grew up listening to somebody, you are now an artist yourself. You just need to be comfortable and own it. Because when I was in the booth with Nelly, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I'm in the booth, in the booth with Nelly.' I grew up listening to him, and I remember rapping 'Country Grammar' when I was a little kid. And I learned that if I'm here, then I gotta own it and feel comfortable in my skin. That experience definitely taught me that."

"I learned from Wayne to definitely stay true to myself and be myself because Wayne is just all about being himself. He doesn't care what people say. And I noticed that the more I'm around Wayne especially, the more he respects me."

"I learned from Ty Dolla $ign how to just go in the booth and freestyle melodies when you're drunk -- they just end up perfect. Ty Dolla $ign is the one who'll go in the booth and freestyle something and it'll be a hit song. As a writer and as an artist, I've always written songs first. And I haven't been much of a freestyle artist, so working with Ty, sometimes you just gotta get on the mic, turn it on and see what happens. Sometimes it'll be magic."

"I learned from Wiz how to smoke. That's for sure. I learned a little bit of that from Snoop, too, but I learned from Wiz that you can smoke anywhere and anytime. And it's all good and represent for all the smokers out there."

"When I saw Mack Maine, I was on his tour bus and I learned about his secret stash of munchies and stuff. I guess I learned on tour that you gotta have your own stash because it gets rough out there."

"I haven't had to do it too long, but I learned from French Montana how to wear chains and keep my head up straight. He wears a lot of chains and is still able to keep his head up straight. And I remember asking him about it and he showed me how to put them on and how he stood. So now I know -- even though I don't think I'll have that many chains on my neck -- how to stand up straight and tall even though I do have that much gold around my neck."

Neilson Barnard, Getty Images

"Just from looking at Vic and Chance, they're a great example of two homies coming up in the rap game. And I learned from them that -- even though I don't have a situation like that per se where I have someone I grew up with that I'm coming up with at the same time -- they show that they can still be friends in this industry and not be too competitive. I think they're a perfect example of that. They're both coming up and doing their own separate things, but still maintain a dope friendship and are real ass homies."

Theo Wargo, Getty Images

"I definitely have to say I've learned from Nicki. From everything she's done to every move she's made, she's a strong female in a predominantly male game. She holds her own as a woman. And I think just following in her steps and not being afraid to say what's on your mind and say what you want to say in your lyrics. You just gotta be yourself and don't hold anything back just because you're a woman."

The #Ewing WRAP returns in Navy Suede/Gum for January, stay tuned for more info…

The return of Ewing Athletics has not gone by silently as it seems that most of the models they’ve pumped out have hit the market with a sonic boom. This upcoming Ewing Wrap colorway will not only serve as a return for the sneaker but also as a tribute to the Seattle Seahawks.

The low vamp model is cast in blue suede for most of its build, but licks of neon green pop up to pepper it with contrast. The gum outsole is an added boost as well, giving the look a bit of necessary grounding with hits of tonal embroidery serving as a subtle accent.

Call us crazy but we you don’t need to be a football fan to appreciate a colorway as clean as this. There’s no telling when you can expect to see these Ewing Wraps on shelves, but for the moment you can see them on the Ewing Athletics Instagram page.
