K. Michelle gives an award to her ex-boyfriend for all the wrong he’s done on her new song, ‘Oscar,’ featured on her upcoming album, ‘Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?’

On the power ballad, which follows the love theme of the LP, the Tennessee-raised singer details hurt feelings and a relationship gone wrong. Her former flame was so good at faking things, he should have won an Oscar for the role he played.

“And the Oscar goes to the one who stole my heart / The Oscar goes to the one who never showed his cards / All ’cause he knew how to walk, knew how to talk, knew how to look,” she sings.

You can listen to ‘Oscar’ when ‘Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart’? hits stores on Dec. 9.

Some people just aren’t who they say they are, and K. Michelle sings about it in her new song ‘Oscar,’ as she continues to roll out new material from her upcoming album ‘Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?’

On the power ballad–which follows the theme of other songs on the new LP–the Tennessee raised artist sings about hurt feelings, and a love gone wrong, while saying her former flame was so good at faking it, he should have won an Oscar.

“And the Oscar goes to the one who stole my heart / The Oscar goes to the one who never showed his cards / All ’cause he knew how to walk, knew how to talk, knew how to look,” she sings.

You can listen to ‘Oscar’ and the rest of ‘Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart’? before it hits stores on Dec. 9.

Reebok Kamikaze II 'Holiday Lights'

Jimmy Jazz

There is no shortage of holidays to celebrate in America, which also means that there is an endless supply of inspiration for sneaker colorways. The Reebok Kamikaze II is the latest model to use yuletide as its engine with this lit new ‘Holiday Lights’ theme.

The sneaker features an upper cast in red and blue suede with a bolt of metallic gold slinking its way from ankle to midsole. The black outsole gives the shoe a bit of grounding and suggests a colorway that feels more unisex than it actually is since these are for women only.

Look for this pair to hit select Reebok retailers on Dec. 23. If all else fails and you can’t grab them there, know that you can track ‘em down at Jimmy Jazz.

Sneaker of the Week: Burn Rubber x British Knights Enforcer Hi

Burn RUbber

When hasn’t Burn Rubber been on point? They’re far beyond being a simple sneaker shop in Detroit and now that they’re a full-blown brand, they almost have enough collaborations under their belt to stock shelves solely with their own product. Next up, they’re bringing back the British Knights Enforcer Hi with a themed release that is more than worthy of being our Sneaker of the Week.

British Knights has been on the fringes of a comeback for a while and Burn Rubber has found a match-up that is steeped in enough history for a proper return. They’ve summoned Derrick Coleman, who is not only a Detroit native but also donned the British Knights Enforcer Hi as his signature sneaker when he played for the New Jersey Nets.

As for the shoe itself, the theme is executed perfectly thanks to a red leather and suede upper flanked by hits of navy. The piece is finished off with a gum outsole. Special touches like Coleman’s jersey number on the tongue and his initials embroidered on the heel add just the right amount of depth to the drop.

Burn Rubber will make these gems available to the public on Dec. 12. They will also release with special edition Detroit Northern High School jerseys as a tribute to Coleman’s alma mater.

Fabolous Gets Fired Up on 'Lituation'

LituationDef Jam

Just days after announcing his new management deal with Roc Nation, Fabolous releases a new banger, chock-full of witty punchlines and memorable moments.

‘Lituation’ finds the 37-year-old Brooklyn rapper spitting hard lines about personal flyness and dismantling the competition. It’s closer to his 2004 hit ‘Breathe’ in comparison to the more female-friendly songs he’s made over the years.

The song opens with a sample from Lauryn Hill’s 1998 cut ‘Lost Ones,’ and right away Loso goes in.

“This a movie, get your Goobers, n—-, it gets deep get your scuba, n—- / I got the swipers in the gun shop, I got the shooters in the Uber, n—- / Everything brand new my n—-, Lord Jamar Grand Puba, n—- / They calling me Fidel Cashflow, yeah, and the link come from Cuba, n—-,” he spits.

But what does ‘Lituation’ actually mean? Fab told MTV News it’s whenever a situation gets lit up and things get hectic, which is why the song sounds so aggressive and unmistakably New York, with its hard drums, and piercing horn loop.

‘Lituation’ is the first single off his new album, ‘The Young OG Project,’ which will be available for digital purchase on Dec. 25. Tell us what you think about the song in the comments below.

Nike Zoom Talaria x SNS 'Living Fearless'

Sneakersnstuff

Sneakersnstuff has found a way to push the boundaries of packaging with their latest release. They’ve taken the box for their Nike collaboration and turned it into a wall-mounted display case complete with its own cleaning kit.

The box isn’t exactly unassuming and anyone who’s owned several pairs of sneakers can tell that it’s something special from the wood grain-printed panels alone. When you open it up however, something magical happens. By following the instructions, you end up with a hanging shelf that houses the special edition Nike Zoom Talaria and a three-piece cleaning kit. The shoe itself features a bamboo and hyper cobalt-colored upper with 3M trim and ballistic mesh insets.

Only 150 pieces of the special edition SNS x Nike Zoom Talaria ‘Living Fearless’ were produced and it’s set to release on Dec. 5. This loosely translates to “good luck getting a pair.”

Beanie Sigel has been shot outside of his New Jersey home, following an altercation.

According to NBC News, the shooting took place Friday morning (Dec. 5) at 9:45AM, on the 800 block of Spruce Avenue, in Pleasantville, N.J. The ‘Feel It in the Air’ rapper was shot in the torso. Afterwards, he was immediately transported to Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center, where he’s currently undergoing surgery.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, a second man at the scene was also injured. He wasn’t shot and refused medical treatment.

Police also chased a car they suspected was involved in the shooting and arrested one man, but his name has yet to be made available to the public.

Sigel, whose real name is Dwight Grant, was released from prison in August. He was incarcerated for tax evasion, spending a total of two years behind bars.

At this time, the 40-year-old rhymer’s condition is unknown.

J. Cole Pedals Towards His Dreams in 'Intro' Video

By the looks of it, J. Cole is embracing the fact that his album ’2014 Forest Hills Drive’ leaked earlier this week. The rapper hasn’t addressed the matter, and instead, he releases visuals for the opening track, ‘Intro.’

As simple as the song itself, the video finds the North Carolina native on a bicycle, pedaling through the empty streets of Manhattan.

Cole, sporting a green-and-black lumberjack jacket, black pants and green-and-black throwback Jordans, doesn’t appear to have a particular destination. He stops at a showroom window of a BMW dealership, which gives some insight on what the song is all about — to dream big and dream often.

“I said do you wanna, do you wanna be happy / I said do you wanna be free… Free from pain, free from scars / Free to sing, free from bars, free my dogs, you’re free to go / Block gets hot, the streets is cold / Free to live, to each his own, free from bills, free from pills,” he sings over light piano keys and lush strings.

From the dealership, the Jay Z-mentored artist continues to travel, as he gazes up at the bright lights and tall buildings, which could also be a metaphor for thinking and dreaming big.

The video is simple but poignant, and gives a brief look into ’2014 Forest Hills Drive.’ Clearly, it seems that he’s delving deeper these days and making music with a message. ’2014 Forest Hills Drive’ arrives Dec. 9.

Nike Kyrie 1 Is Unveiled

Nike

Nike Basketball welcomes Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving into an elite circle of athletes with their very own signature shoe. With the release of the Nike Kyrie 1, the player becomes the 20th signature athlete to get his own shoe, which leaves one question: is it dope?

In a word, yes. The player’s first outing with the brand is a technology-laden bootie with a stripped-down feel to it. Form and function meet by way of the Zoom cushioning, which is housed in a raised pattern heel. This is all counter-inspired by the Sydney Opera House or a Hyperfuse upper that plays host to a handwritten No. 2 on the ankle. Irving’s “Just Be You” motto is also represented on the heel of its 360-degree dynamic traction outsole.

The multi-colored Nike Kyrie 1 ‘Dream’ drops on Dec. 23, followed by the Nike Kyrie 1 ‘Deceptive Red’ on Jan 10, 2015. Both pairs are set to retail at $110. As an extra bonus, you can see a short clip of what the Nike Basketball legacy means to Irving below.

Nicki Minaj Stars in 'Saturday Night Live' Promo with James Franco [VIDEO]

Who knew that actor James Franco and Nicki Minaj were best friends?

That’s what they called themselves in the new promo clip for ‘Saturday Night Live,’ as Franco will be the host and Queen Barb the musical guest.

In the short video, the stars do two different gags, and the first one surrounds the recent airing of NBC’s ‘Peter Pan Live.’ After introducing himself and the Queens N.Y. rapper, both artists spread their arms and say “Off to Never Never Land,” doing their best Peter Pan impression.

The second gag finds the ’127 Hours’ actor and Minaj doing a best friends handshake, which consists of a couple of hand slaps, a fist pound, and the rubbing of noses. Afterwards, Franco says “What a lot of people don’t know is that Nik and I are really good friends in real life,” and they scream the word ‘Besties,” which ends the clip.

You can catch the new episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ this Saturday, Dec. 6., at 11:30 p.m.
