Tupac's Handwritten Letters Reveal Plans to Collaborate With OutKast
Tupac Shakur may be remember for dividing the east and west coasts with his vicious lyrical attacks against Notorious B.I.G., but at one time, the late rapper wanted to unified both coasts. In unearthed handwritten letter, 2Pac discussed plans to drop a compilation album called ‘One Nation.’
Okayplayer posted 2Pac’s missive to his friend Big Lock, in which he was planning to record a posse song featuring OutKast, Buckshot, Smif-n-Wessun, Scarface and E-40 during the summer.
The Roots’ Questlove have confirmed that the letter is legit and added that the Illadelph crew were also contacted to appear on the project. Rapper Buckshot also seemed to confirm the validity of the letter on his Twitter account.
Meanwhile, British auction house Bonhams plans to to auction off on March 1 a series of handwritten letters from Tupac Shakur. Apparently, these letters were written around 1995 when the late rapper was incarcerated in New York.
In one missive to his friend Desiree Smith, he writes about his impending divorce from Keisha after 3 and 1/2 months of marriage.

Produced by Zaytoven and Cassius Jay, the track is a sonic collage of futuristic sounds and provides a suitable backdrop for Juvenile to throw flags on “women in violation” of trying to get into his pockets.
“Riding to the top, a n—- need a chauffeur / Terius blowing up, I think I hit a growth spurt / motherf—a’s working for me all day, hand and foot / I ask a question, they say ‘yes or no, sir,” raps the NOLA legend on the opening verse.
Skip rides shotgun on the track and efficiently drops cautionary lines like, “Legend like an Acura / This not the black you find in Africa / You don’t want me after ‘ya / Bound to start a movement of a massacre.”
‘Flag on the Play’ is another worthy effort for the man who put Cash Money on the map and gives us good reason to keep an eye out for his mixtape, ‘Mardi Gras 2.’

It looks like Kanye West‘s long-awaited adidas sneaker collaboration is coming very soon. Apparently, West’s barber and stylist, Ibn Jasper, got the green light to share on his Instagram page this year’s hottest sneaker release.
The shoe falls in line with previous Yeezy sneakers as it features that signature midfoot strap but the look sets itself apart thanks to the tooling along the boost outsole. Those ridges feel like a subtle nod to the lines that mod down the ankle of the Nike Air Yeezy 2.
The kicks also flip the three stripes branding by putting it inside of the strap. They have a bit of a moccasin look to them based on the use of suede and the lacing system, which makes the use of grey a nice overall contrast.
Jasper has hashtagged the shoe #YeezyBoost, which could either be his nickname for them or quite possibly the name of the shoe itself. Regardless of what West wants to call them, the drop feels like he’s taking the soul of his overall sneaker design and fleshing it out into something totally unique.
It’s rumored that ‘Ye’s full adidas collection will be revealed during New York Fashion Week and based on the Yeezy.supply countdown there is probably some truth to the speculation.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, is reportedly at her granddaughter’s bedside at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
According to 11 Alive, several family members from Houston’s side have visited the 21-year-old actress who was found a week ago unresponsive in a bathtub.
Meanwhile, an investigation is still ongoing in the case as police in Georgia are reportedly figuring out if foul play was involved.
According to TMZ, police sources say that Kristina had injuries that led them to start a criminal investigation. The gossip website cites multiple sources inquiring about the history of violence between Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon.
Investigators believe that a possible fight occurred an hour before the singer-actress was found face down in the bathtub.
The website also reports that Gordon’s friend, Max Lomas, who discovered Kristina in the bathtub, had been in the couple’s house the morning of the incident but didn’t see Kristina. But after the cable guy came to the house and needed access to the bedroom, that’s when Lomas found her and screamed for Gordon.
Sources told TMZ that Gordon and Lomas have been interviewed by police and may be re-interviewed again. Gordon has reportedly hired an attorney, while Lomas’ lawyer says his client wants immunity before he speaks again.
Finally, Jerod Brown, a cousin of Bobbi Kristina, when on Instagram to start a hashtag campaign #StillPrayforBK. In the caption, he wrote that doctors don’t see any hope for change in her current condition.

Iggy Azalea Happy for Grammy Nominations Despite Criticisms
Rapper Iggy Azalea is up for four Grammy Awards including Best Rap Album for her latest effort, ‘The New Classic.’ The Aussie rhymer’s nominations has generated plenty of polarizing opinions but Azalea says she’s just happy to be nominated.
The ‘Fancy’ rhymer told Billboard that she’s grateful to be recognized by the Grammy voters.
“I don’t care if I get a Grammy for best album artwork. A Grammy is a Grammy, baby,” she said. “Nobody says, ‘Uh, what’s your Grammy for? … No, this Grammy doesn’t count.’”
With that comment, Azalea may be alluding to Macklemore’s controversial win last year in the Best Rap Album category. The Seattle rapper won the trophy for his album, ‘The Heist,’ which beat out heavily favorite Kendrick Lamar’s classic debut LP, ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city.’ Macklemore conceded that Lamar got robbed and should have won the award because he had the better rap album.
But it looks like Iggy won’t be apologetic if she wins the Best Rap Album award despite critics and Azealia Banks who feel that her album isn’t worthy of a nomination much less a win.
“Any Grammy is equally as good. I’ll take any Grammy for anything,” she said. “Any Grammy you’ve got, send them my way. I will not complain.”
Azalea’s other nominations include the coveted Best New Artist and Record of the Year for ‘Fancy’ (with Charli XCX). The ‘Black Widow’ creator is appreciative that the Recording Academy is recognizing her hard work.
“I didn’t think they would think of me four times. I’m happy they thought of me any times,” she said. “There are so many other award shows that I appreciate winning awards for, but I think it really means something special just to be nominated by the people that you work with and are alongside every day. That’s a different thing. It’s a different level of respect.”
We’ll see if Iggy Azalea wins any golden gramophones at the 2015 Grammy Awards, which airs live this Sunday (Feb. 8) at 8PM ET on CBS.
