TDE Manager Shuts Down Talks of Ab-Soul Leaking His Album (@abdashsoul @dangerookipawaa)

Ab-Soul had fans buzzing about the possibility of a new album.

According to XXL, the rapper's debut album, rumored to be named Black Lip Pastor is finished and Soul is ready to release it. The album was due for a release in March, but there hasn't been any word on its release. The rapper tweeted his frustration on Thursday.

"I'm this close to just leaking my s*** like it's a mixtape." he tweeted.

Friday, Top TDE's Top Dawg commented on the potential leak and let fans know that it isn't happening.

"Listening 2 some new @jayrock shit got me pumped... Also @abdashsoul updates Monday....#TDE," he tweeted.

He also added that leaking the album would be a bad idea.

"I DARE A NIGGA ON MY TEAM LEAK HIS ALBUM.....#TDE. YOU CAN'T RUSH GREATNESS."

Soul is just another rapper added to the long list of artists who have had problems with their label this year. Others include Azealia Banks growing feud with Interscope/Polydor, 50 Cent's departure from Interscope and Childish Gambino's frustrations with Glassnote releasing his "Sweatpants" video without his consent.

Drake Gets Pranked by the Nets at the Barclays Center [VIDEO]

Drake was on the receiving end of a fun prank during the Game 6 playoff matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors on Friday (May 2).

According to USA Today, the people working the Jumbotron camera caught Drizzy slippin’ and decided to poke fun at him.

During a brief timeout in the second quarter, the Nets put Drake on the big screen and photoshopped a Nets jersey on him. To add insult to injury, they blasted Jay Z’s classic anthem ‘Public Service Announcement (Interlude)’ through the speakers.

Drake caught wind of it and wasn’t too happy when he saw the image on the screen. The look on his face is priceless.

On top of that, the Nets beat the Raptors 97-83, which sends the series back to Toronto for a final Game 7.

The hilarious prank may add more fuel to the ongoing lyrical tiff between Hov and Drizzy.

During Game 1 in Toronto, Drake threw a jab at Jay Z, who used to be the minority owner of the Nets.

“Jay Z is somewhere eating a fondue plate,” he quipped. “It’s our time. We’ve got to keep it competitive. This is an ironic matchup.”

We don’t know if Jay Z was the mastermind behind the prank but it looks like he and Beyonce were amused by it.

Game Cancels Kentucky Derby Performance With Yo Gotti (@YoGottiKOM @thegame)

Rappers Game and Yo Gotti were slated to perform at tonight's 'Kentucky Takeover Tour,' but one rapper has pulled out at the last minute.

Game took to his Instagram account to explain why he will not perform as a part of the Kentucky Derby festivities.

"I want to apologize to my fans at the Kentucky Derby," he said. "Per a conversation with my team..I will not be able to perform there this weekend due to a business deal that's gone south and completely out of my hands. I hope to make it up to you on the road soon."

The rapper did not get into specifics regarding the canceled performance.

Sources claim that the 80-year-old is using the best drugs money on the market to stay alive.

T.I. Becomes a Hero After Helping Car Crash Victim

While T.I. was getting some grub, he became an unlikely hero for the day. The Atlanta rapper was headed to Popeye’s restaurant when he came upon a serious car accident and sprung into action.

The ‘Blurred Lines’ rhymer told TMZ that he saw the accident while driving up to Popeye’s in Inglewood, Calif. Apparently, a taxi cab slammed into a woman’s SUV causing it to flip over on its side.

Tip said he ran over to help the female driver who was still in the vehicle when she looked up at him and said, “Is that T.I.?”

T.I. stayed with the woman until medical help arrived. Oddly enough, the crash victim wasn’t wearing any underwear and was worried, according to TMZ. But Tip rest assured her that no one would look.

Afterward, T.I. decided to hit up a different Popeye’s restaurant because “that one had too much going on.”

Props to T.I. for his help in a serious car accident. His act of heroism was far less intense than his standoff with police at a club last week.

At least, T.I. is not afraid to put himself in harm’s way for his fellow citizens.

Will Breakup Drama Distract Floyd Mayweather From Fight? (@FloydMayweather @ChinoMadiana)

Friends and promoters of Floyd Mayweather are worried that his breakup drama with Shantel Jackson may distract him from tonight's fight against Marcos Madiana.

According to USA Today, the fight's co-promoter Richard Schaefer of Goldenboy Productions is worried that the breakup has affected Mayweather's mental state.

"There's no question about it, he's distracted," Schaefer said. "Think about it, we saw a very emotional Floyd (during Wednesday's press conference). Clearly, with a day or two to go until fight night, against without question one of the most dangerous opponents he's fought, his focus should be 100% on the fight."

However, Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather promotions believes that the boxer is in good place and just focused on winning the Welterweight title.

"I don't think Floyd Mayweather gets affected by too many things as it relates to preparation for a fight," Ellerbe said. "Come Saturday night, you will see an even more exciting Floyd. Maidana's a very tough guy, and we know he's gonna bring it." he said. "At the end of the day it's about wins and losses and Floyd's a winner."

Mayweather and his fiancée "Miss" Shantel Jackson broke up a few weeks ago, but it was revealed this week that Jackson aborted the couple's twins which caused the breakup. Rumors of Jackson dating Nelly have also bothered the boxer.

"Glovegate" was also another topic that almost prevented tonight's fight from happening. When Mayweather noticed the gloves provided by Madiana's camp were thinly made, he almost canceled the big fight.

The first out the gate is the Etonic Akeem The Dream and for those of you that don’t remember the 80′s it’s a sneaker that harkens back to a simpler time with more multi-purpose technology. Set to drop in three colorways including black/white, red/white and white/red each look does much to honor his legacy with the Houston Rockets.

The kicks will be available in June at select retailers and at Etonic’s official web store.

“When I became the Etonic Brand Ambassador during my rookie year, Etonic was fresh and new in the basketball arena,” said Olajuwon in a press release. “It’s been my ambition to continue my brand in the footwear and apparel industry.”

Nicki Minaj Spits Braggadocios Bars on 'Yasss Bish' Featuring Soulja Boy

Soundcloud YMCMB is on a roll. After YM leader Lil Wayne dropped his new single, ‘Believe Me,’ Nicki Minaj followed suit and released a freestyle track ‘Yasss Bish.’

The song, which was produced by Soulja Boy, has the rapper-actress boasting about her queenly status in the rap game.

Over an 808 drumbeat, a sinister loop and church bells, Minaj drops punchlines and big news on the track.

“Bitches can’t beat me they ain’t got the skill / Eye of the tiger, they ain’t got the kill / Look up to Jada, I love her and Will / Bitches my sons, but they not in my will,” raps Minaj.

She then adds, “Droppin’ my single in two weeks / The Pink Print album a movie / Bitches be thinkin’ they hot, but they be using that term too loosely.”

Overall, Nicki Minaj sounds fierce and ready to defend her throne once again. “I am the queen bee ’cause I’m a machine,” she raps.

Kanye West's Sad Face on Ziplining Trip Has Internet Going Wild

Like Pharrell Williams, Kanye West should be happy right now. He’s engaged to the most sought-after woman in the world (that is Kim Kardashian), he’s a proud daddy and he’s one of the top rappers in the game. But a photo has surfaced of West looking really, really glum.

The image was posted on Reddit Friday morning (May 2) and has quickly gone viral. The photo features Kim taking a picture with a ziplining instructor while Yeezy is in the background sulking. Or maybe he’s just tired, we don’t know.

According to the poster, photographer Alex Yenni, he found the picture hanging up at a zipline office in Mexico.

“Found it in a random ziplining office in the middle of Mexico. They took it, and I don’t think it’s ever been online…” he writes.

Buzzfeed was able to trace the photo back to 2012 when the couple were on vacation with ‘Girls Gone Wild’ creator Joe Francis.

We have no clue why West looks so sad in the pic. But the Internet seems to have some theories. Check out some tweets below.

Lil Wayne Drops New Song 'Believe Me' Featuring Drake

Soundcloud After releasing a teaser video, Lil Wayne has finally dropped his new banger ‘Believe Me’ featuring Drake. The song is the lead single from his upcoming LP, ‘Tha Carter V.’

Produced by Boi-1da and Vinylz, the song features Weezy spitting some of his best bars in a long time. In fact, Wayne sounds invigorated and lyrically sharp.

It’s pretty much a braggadocios track with Tunechi and Drizzy proclaiming they are the best in the rap game and there’s no competition in sight.

“It’s been me and Young Tune off the rip / That’s the man that put me in this s— / If a n—- f— with him, I’ll put him down quick / Got a verse for anybody wanna talk about the clique,” raps Drake.

Then Wayne comes in and drops several coherent punchlines and tough-minded verses.

“Drop dead gorgeous but the bitch ain’t dyin’ for a n—- / Where the real queens at? Shout out to ‘Pone and Noreaga / We can shoot it out and see who live to tell the story later / Diamonds in my Rollie face, cannot be exfoliated,” he spits.

Near the end of the song, Wayne lets go another fiery verse, rapping, “Tune stay humble, like I’m a king / Need a horn and a drumroll / They throw motherf—in’ roses at my feet, n—- / I don’t step on one rose.”
