Robin Williams shocked the world Monday (July 11) by reportedly committing suicide at the age of 63. The terrible news has been met with an outpouring of grief and condolences from multiple communities, including hip-hop. West is the latest to pay tribute.
The rapper kept it simple with a short tweet and a picture of him with Williams holding up the diamond sign, obviously marking his time with Roc-A-Fella Records.
Despite being what many consider egotistical, West pays his respects when necessary. He denied claims that he compared himself to Nelson Mandela after his death in December and honored him on Twitter. Those claims originally stemmed from a parody site’s report.
DAYLYT Would Have Sex With Diddy in Apparent Seriousness [VIDEO]
DAYLYT is a talented rapper, but very odd character. He provided a highlight on Ab-Soul’s ‘These Days…’ when the two competed in an old fashion battle rap to close the album. That was overshadowed by how he decided to show up to Total Slaughter in a Spawn (as in the comic book character) costume and then decided to strip naked from it, which only annoyed competition judge Ebro Darden. DAYLYT’s latest act of weirdness? Saying he’d like to have sex with Diddy.
The battle rapper didn’t look like he was saying this in jest. DAYLYT said, “I’d f–- the s-– out of Diddy,” during a Vlad TV interview.
How is that quote even set up? DJ Vlad mentioned that singer Aaron Hall told him he’d invited stars like Denzel Washington and Diddy over to watch him have sex. After DAYLYT decided to act out the scenario, DJ Vlad asked if he would do the same.
“Like would I f— Diddy? Yeah,” DAYLYT says.
DJ Vlad awkwardly stayed silent before DAYLYT continued to explain in over-the-top detail.
“I’m not gonna front. I’d f— the shit out of Diddy… Why not? Diddy’s attractive,” DAYLYT says. “Get him off like a bottle of Ciroc, a shot of Ciroc. He got plenty of Ciroc. Get him f—ed up, I’ll f—.
“I actually got a website. I got a movement. It’s called the f— P. Diddy movement.”
This could be a declaration of DAYLYT’s sexuality, but it’s his absurd explanation and unnecessary context that makes the clip a head scratcher.

The death of Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old who was shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., has created outrage, frustration and uproar in St. Louis and America at large.
The shooting has raised many questions about what really happened during the Aug. 9 shooting. The Ferguson police department have their own account while an eyewitness details a chilling story of what occurred.
In the end, a police officer shot an unarmed young man way before his prime.
Rapper Killer Mike wrote a heartfelt letter in the wake of Brown’s death, which her shared on his Instagram page. In the missive, he asks for peace and calm in the wake of a terrible tragedy.
“We are human beings. We deserve to be buried by [our] children not the other way around,” he writes. “No matter how u felt about black people look at this Mother and look at this father and tell me as a human being how u cannot feel empathy for them. How can u not feel sympathy for their pain and [lost].”
“These are not “THOTS, n—-s/n—–s, hoes, Ballers, Divas. These two people are parents,” he continued. “They are humans that produced a child and loved that child and that child was slaughtered like Game and left face down as public spectacle while his blood drained down the street.”
The Atlanta rapper also demands that those around him look past race.
“I don’t care if others rioted or why. I don’t care that ball players and Rappers are what they shud be. I care that we as humans care as much about one another more,” he shares. “I care we see past Class, race and culture and honor the humanity that unites our species.”

Eli and Peyton Manning Rap About Fantasy Football in New DirecTV Ad [VIDEO]
NFL quarterbacks Eli and Peyton Manning are bringing the term “fantasy football” to a whole new level.
In the latest commercial for DirecTV’s Fantasy Zone, the brothers both rap, strike b-boy poses and surround themselves with a slew of sexy video vixens. But it’s their funny lyrics that really steal the show.
“Sometimes I have this fantasy I’m on a horse so wild and free / Then the horse grows wings and we fly up into space / But then the music drops out cause there’s no sound in space / But my dad’s in space cause it’s my fantasy,” raps Eli.
You’ll also see a bunch of rap stereotypes, like the brothers rapping in front of a mansion and a few tough-looking guys standing in the background trying to look intimidating. It’s the usual stuff you’ll see whenever non-hip-hoppers parity the culture.
But nonetheless, the song creates a few laughs and both Mannings pull off the gag quite successfully. They were equally hilarious in their 2013 rap skit ‘Football On Your Phone.’ Now if Eli can just get the Giants back on a winning track again, he’ll really make people’s fantasies come true.

Unbeknownst to several sneakerheads it looks like a group of Nike Lebron 11′s have been hanging out with one another. While it hasn’t been formalized with an announcement the release of the “Maison Du Lebron” Collection is upon us and here is a look at the silhouettes in it.
The phrase “Maison Du Lebron” roughly translates to “House Of Lebron” and with regards to what exactly is in the house we see a Nike Lebron 11 ($220), Nike Lebron 11 Low ($190) and Nike Lebron 11 Elite ($295) all sporting some sort of hyper color with a gradient fade effect. The trio represents the full crux of Lebron’s US sneaker releases and is a great addition to his story overall.

Jeezy Teams With Game and Rick Ross for 'Beautiful'
After debuting the tracklist for ‘Seen It All,’ rapper Jeezy premieres his Game and Rick Ross-assisted song, ‘Beautiful.’ It’s a soulful tune featuring the rap trifecta spitting celebratory bars about their fame and success.
Produced by Black Metaphor, ‘Beautiful’ is anchored by the sample of Cortex’s ‘Chanson D’Un Jour D’Hiver‘ and live drumming.
On it, Jeezy raps, “If I die remember like Don Killuminati / Buried me on the left right next to John Gotti / Play nothing but cocaine music, that Yo Gotti / Tombstone reads, ‘Took S— From Nobody.’”
Game follows suit rapping luxury lines about driving Lamborghinis, living in expensive condos and bagging models.
“Snowman tell these n—-s that we livin’ in / Front yard like a soccer field and we’re kicking’ it / Sick condos, pocket full of rondos / Choppers with extended clips longer as El Segundo,” he raps.
‘Beautiful’ is also significant because it reunites Jeezy and Rozay after a few years of feuding with each other.
Ross addresses their truce briefly with the line, “I hustle everyday / We squashed the beef to get the money / We set examples for rich n—-s in Maseratis / My killers in the lobby.”
Jeezy’s upcoming album, ‘Seen It All,’ arrives Sept. 2. The collection features guest appearances from Jay Z, T.I., YG, Lil Boosie, Future, Kelly Rowland and Akon.

If you’ve been keeping up with Iggy Azalea‘s videography, you know that she likes to channel different classic films for her videos. After reenacting ‘Clueless’ in her ‘Fancy’ visual, the Aussie rapper pays homage to Quentin Tarantino’s action-thriller ‘Kill Bill’ for her ‘Black Widow’ video featuring Rita Ora.
The clip features Azalea and Ora as two samurai sword-wielding chicks seeking revenge against a maniacal villain portrayed by ‘Kill Bill’ actor Michael Madsen. The video also features cameos from T.I. and veteran actor Paul Sorvino (who played mob capo “Paulie” in ‘Goodfellas’).
There’s plenty of martial arts action and samurai fighting in the video. Fashion-wise, the fighting duo are dressed to kill in tight leather one-piece suits and long-blonde hair.
Next up, Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora will perform ‘Black Widow’ at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 24.
