Jay Z Celebrates Beyonce's 33rd Birthday With Tribute Video
If you’ve ever wondered how someone can become even more beautiful and talented as they get older just ask Beyonce, who turns 33 today (Sept. 4).
As a special gift, which is probably just one among several, Jay Z posted a video dedicated to Bey on his Life + Times website.
The 33-second clip shows the songstress in the midst of her hubby-assisted On the Run Tour, where she’s seen making wardrobe changes, performing onstage, greeting the crowd and rehearsing.
In the background, you can her Hov doing a live rendition of ‘Beach Is Better,’ off his ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ album, presumably also pulled from the On the Run Tour.
According to E! News, the power couple, along with their daughter Blue Ivy, are in Corsica in the South of France vacationing and celebrating B’s birthday.
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Rubber Collection
If you ever got caught in a rainstorm wearing your best kicks, you know that it sucks — big time. Converse has come up with a solution for sneakerheads to wear their shoes in the rain and still look fashionable. The rubberized Chuck Taylor All-Star collection is the perfect footwear for those rainy days.
The entire sneaker is made out of water-resistant rubber — same material they use in raincoats — with a soft fleece lining, gusseted tongue and brass eyelets.
If you don’t think they can stand the rain, guess again. The good folks at Complex tested them out at a rainy Made in America festival over Labor Day weekend and walked away with feet that were still dry at the end of the day.
The monochromatic shoes come in six colors: yellow, black, olive, purple, white and red. They’re also available in unisex adult and kids sizes so men, women and children can rock these versatile kicks.
The Fall 2014 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Rubber collection will hit retailers and converse.com on Sept. 15 for $65 for adults and $45 for kids.

Jeezy Celebrates 'Seen It All' Album Release at Concert With Bobby Shmurda, Remy Ma [VIDEO]
Jeezy wasn’t doing so hot about a week ago. Tuesday (Sept. 2) marked the release of the long-awaited ‘Seen It All,’ so it was time to put legal troubles to the side temporarily and celebrate. The stars came out for the rapper’s album release concert at Stage 48 in New York City on Wednesday (Sept. 4).
The guests ranged from those who got hot in the 2000s to the relative newcomers. The biggest from the old school was Remy Ma, who performed her verse on DJ Khaled’s ‘They Don’t Love You No More’ and ‘Whateva.’ This year coincidentally marks the 10th anniversary of ‘Lean Back.’ Remy Ma obliged the occasion by performing the hit.
Akon also came through to perform one of Jeezy’s signature songs: ‘Soul Survivor.’ The 2005 song happened to coincide with Jeezy’s perspective on ‘Seen It All.’
“We still standing here, standing tall, and that’s why we ‘Seen It All,” Jeezy said.
The new school was represented by the hitmakers. Southern rhymer Future, who just reconciled with Ciara, showed up to perform ‘Move That Dope’ and ‘No Tears,’ while Brooklyn’s own Bobby Shmurda did ‘Hot N—-’ a few times for the packed crowd.
Check out the Remy Ma performance above and the rest of the aforementioned below.

Sam Smith Covers Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car' [VIDEO]
First, Sam Smith covers Whitney Houston’s ‘How Will I Know’ and now he takes on another emo classic with Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car.’
The Brit crooner covers the 1988 song about heartbreak and escapism for the U.K.’s BBC Radio 1. His version is more soulful and perhaps less bleak than the original. “You got a fast car I want a ticket to anywhere / Maybe we make a deal / Maybe together we can get somewhere,” he sings.
‘Fast Car’ earned Chapman the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance back in 1989. Interestingly, the ‘Stay With Me’ singer was born three years later.
Watch Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea Get Close in 'Booty' Teaser [VIDEO]
Jennifer Lopez enlisted Iggy Azalea for the remix to her rumpshaking track ‘Booty’ and now we get a taste of what the visual will look like.
In a teaser video that released earlier today, JLo struts in a hallway wearing nothing but fishnets, a black bikini concealing her lady parts, pumps, shades and a men’s blazer. Soon after, she starts posing against the walls. There are quick clips showing her in a nude leotard dancing by a window, some syrupy substance being poured onto her body as she dances across the floor and getting close with Iggy.
Of course, the video wouldn’t be complete without its fair share of booty shots. From closeups on her rear to shots of her twerking, the Hype Williams-directed effort is definitely for those who highly praise a woman’s behind.
The 30-second clip might be quick, but it’s bootylicious enough to have us anticipating JLo and Iggy’s complete video.

2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards Nominations: Drake Leads, Snoop Dogg to Host
It looks like 2014 will be the year of Drake. The Young Money superstar nabs eight nominations for the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards.
Among Drizzy’s nods include Best Hip-Hop Video (‘Worst Behavior’), Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, Hustler of the Year, the People’s Champ Award and Album of the Year for his celebrated album, ‘Nothing Was the Same.’
Following behind the rapper with six nominations apiece are Jay Z and Pharrell Williams, while Nicki Minaj, Rich Homie Quan and YG each grab five mentions.
Drake will have some stiff competition in the categories he’s nominated in. For example, the Lyricist of the Year nominees include Drake, Eminem, Jay Z, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj. Meanwhile, in the Album of the Year category, Drizzy’s ‘Nothing Was the Same’ is up against Em’s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2,’ ScHoolboy Q’s ‘Oxymoron,’ Rick Ross’ ‘Mastermind,’ Future’s ‘Honest’ and Yo Gotti’s ‘I Am.’
Veteran rhyme-slinger Snoop Dog will return as host of the ninth annual show. The Doggfather also hinted that he and rapper Murda Mook are bringing “something real big for the hip-hop battle scene” at the awards ceremony. Rumors are circulating that a battle rap segment is being prepared.

Alicia Keys Opens Up About New Baby's December Arrival
After revealing that she and hubby Swizz Beatz are expecting their second child this year, Alicia Keys has finally revealed she’ll have a family of four in December.
“December album? Well, I know one thing. I’m having a December baby,” she told the AP when asked about the chance she’ll be releasing new material soon.
While we now know that this family will likely be ringing in the new year with a newborn, Keys is still mum about the sex of the child. However, she did share that both her and Swizz already know whether they’ll be welcoming a boy or a girl into their life.
Meanwhile, their son, 4-year-old Egypt, seems to following in his parents’ footsteps. “He’s a little music fanatic,” the songstress said during the launch event for the new Givenchy fragrance, Dahlia Divin, at Macy’s in New York City. “He has all this rhythm. He loves to dance. He can play drums. He can beatbox. I think that you do see how just the influence of music and perhaps it is in the DNA, and perhaps it is a part of the magic of what’s inside of the parents that it’s coming through him.”
And while Keys is focused on her family at the moment, she’s still sticking to her musical roots, serving as a mentor for Pharrell’s team on ‘The Voice.’ Plus, the 33-year-old is meticulously crafting her sixth album, which serves as a follow-up to 2012′s ‘Girl On Fire.’ “What I know for a fact is it’s the best music I’ve ever done in my life yet and it’s really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity,” she explained. “The music’s actually pretty much done already and so you’ll be hearing some of it soon.”
