Jermaine Dupri Recruits Q-Tip for New Mariah Carey Album (@mariahcarey, @jermainedupri)
Mariah Carey's long-time collaborator and current manager Jermaine Dupri seems to have enlisted rapper, producer and A Tribe Called Quest member Q-Tip to work on Carey's still untitled 14th album. JD recently posted a photo of the two beatsmiths in the studio
Mariah Carey's album is slated to drop May 6th.

Nick Cannon Loses $15K In NBA Investement Scam (@NickCannon)
Nick Cannon and former NFL players Charles Woodson, Warren Moon and Jarvis Green were scammed out of thousands of dollars from a man who falsely affiliated himself with the NBA.
According to Vibe, the entertainer gave $15,000 to 45-year old George French Jones to invest in the the Atlanta Hawks. The money never reached the team, along with the alleged $25,000 from Green and $50,000 from Woodson for other teams.
The LA Superior Court along with FBI plan to charge Jones with fraud, grand theft and identity theft.
Jones was arrested last month and due back in court March 12.

Love and Hip Hop's Yandy Smith is known for her long dark locks but the reality star has gone blonde just in time for her birthday.

Justin Bieber Won't Get Celebrity Treatment In Egging Case (@justinbieber)
The District Attorney in Justin Bieber's egg throwing case doesn't plan on taking it easy on the young star.
According to Global Grind, the D.A in the case is avoiding any kind of "celebrity justice" that may fall through the cracks and also believes that Justin should be charged with a felony or a misdemeanor.
The egging damages have been reported to total $20K but the D.A is looking up the exact amount and how similar cases like Justin's were handled.
The courts have already charged Bieber's pal Lil Za with a felony vandalism for breaking a $400 jail phone.

Nicki Minaj has never been the type to keep her body under wraps. She has a history of sharing intimate pics of herself on her Instagram, and she did it again this Wednesday afternoon. Nicki took several pictures of herself fresh out of the shower, mostly showing off her back and hair, likely a way for her to prove that her long hair is hers, as many still didn't believe with previous hair photos.

Juicy J Hints At Surprise Release For 'The Hustle Continues' (@therealjuicyj)
With the success of Juicy J's last album Stay Trippy, the rapper isn't letting much time go by as he contemplates when to drop the follow up The hustle Continues.
Juicy talked to MTV News this weekend about the album which as been in the works since last year."I love that album [Stay Trippy] but as soon as it released, I went right back in the studio and I started working on the new album, and I call that album The Hustle Continues."
As for a release date and collabos, the veteran is thinking about taking another approach to the album including less collabos and a surprise release.
"I have more to say, I'm not going to have too many features on this album," he said. "Just because I want people to hear my story...I'm about 90 percent finished with the album, I dont have a release date yet but I might just drop it like Beyonce and don't tell anyone."

Woman Dead for 6 Years, Found In Garage Mummified (@chicagotribune)
According to Reuters, police in Pontiac, Michigan have discovered the body of a woman in the garage of her home where experts say she's been lying dead for at least six years. All of her organs have decomposed, but her skin remains intact, leaving her mummified. No one noticed the woman died because she had very little family and all of her bills were set to Auto Pay.

"Her bills were automatically deducted from her bank account, and residents of the quiet middle-class Pontiac, Mich. neighborhood said they noticed nothing amiss.
Nobody saw her, but the grass was cut and the mail didn't pile up. Some neighbors said they thought she had moved out of the country after the recession hit several years ago.
Eventually, the money in her bank account ran out and the house went into foreclosure, leading to the gruesome discovery this week."
Reuter's reports that a nighbor cut her grass and her mail was sent to the post office. The woman was reportedly from Germany and in her 40s.

Police: Darren Sharper Admitted Sex was "Non-Consensual" (@sharper42)
Former NFL player Darren Sharper is currently on trial for seven felony counts, including two counts of aggravated rape. According to a New Orleans police report, Sharper admitted to witnesses that he had non-consensual sex with the two women in question.
In the report filed by New Orleans police, the two alleged victims were described as impaired by an unknown substance "to the degree that both do not recall the entirety of the sexual intercourse." When both victims awoke, they said Sharper was on top of them "completely nude."
A warrant was issued for his arrest in Louisiana and he turned himself in in Los Angeles. According to CBS Sports, the 38-year-old former safety has been accused of raping at least nine women in five different states. The Los Angeles case and the New Orleans case are the only ones so far where he's facing charges. However, Sharper's also under investigation in Arizona, Nevada and Florida.

Chipotle Suing Frank Ocean for $212,500 (@ofwgkta)
Mexican Grill Chipotle is currently in the process of suing R&B singer Frank Ocean.
According to TMZ, Ocean agreed to sing a jingle for the brand that came with a price tag of $425,000. He didn't, however like seeing the Chipotle logo at the end of the accompanying short film, which promoted an app about the dangers of factory farming. From TMZ:
"Chipotle claims Frank never recorded the track because when they showed him the final cut ... Frank was pissed the company's logo appeared at the end of the spot.
To reiterate ... he was mad Chipotle's logo was in a Chipotle advertisement.
The restaurant says it got an email from Frank's people claiming Frank thought he was promised final say over the recording and all promotional materials — and believed the company was in breach when it refused to remove its logo.
Chipotle is suing to get back the $212,500 advance it paid Ocean."
Ocean was replaced by Fiona Apple and the film was released last fall, check out the final cut above.

Lil B has taken his beef with OKC star Kevin Durant to a whole other level by recording a diss record entitled "F**K KD" and dropping the video yesterday.
Lil B says the whole issue started when Durant called Lil B wack. They've since gone back and forth on Twitter, including talks of a one-on-one basketball session between the two.

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez Defeats Alfredo Angulo in 10th Round TKO (@CaneloOficial)
Saul 'Canelo' Alverez made his return to boxing since his first career loss to Floyd Mayweather by defeating Alfredo Angulo this Saturday in their non-title super welterweight fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV.
According to USA Today, Alvarez (43-1-1, 31 KOs) landed 197 power punches to Angulo's (22-4, 18 KOs) 78 throughout the fight. Referee Tony Weeks stopped the match in the 10th round, much to the displeasure of the packed house at the Grand Garden Arena. Angulo with two swollen eyes, wanted to continue, but Weeks refused to let the fight go on. Angulo was also stopped in his last fight vs Erislandy Lara after his left eye swelled shut in the 10th round.
"The referee stopped the fight, not my problem," said Alvarez after the fight.
