Waka Flocka Flame Drops 'Lifestyle' (Remix), Mom Explains Arrest
After his arrest for gun possession on Friday (Oct. 10), Waka Flocka Flame released a remix to Rich Gang’s infectious hit ‘Lifestyle.’
On the song, the Atlanta rhymer raps celebratory lyrics of his fame and riches. Although Waka does offer words of encouragement to those who are living in the struggle.
“This one for public houses and the trailer parks / Do your part, stay smart don’t let the struggle break your heart,” he raps. “Gas up / And pass it around the world / Take care of your fam, kids, and your girl. Now that’s gangsta.”
Meanwhile, Waka’s momager, Debra Antney, called her son’s arrest for gun possession an accident.
As we previously reported, the Brick Squad leader was taken into custody at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after TSA discovered a handgun in his carry-on bag. Waka did not have a weapons permit and was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.
TSA later posted a photo of the purported gun to Instagram (see below). According to the caption, Waka’s alleged weapon was a loaded 5.7X28mm pistol. Yikes!
Antey told TMZ that the incident was a big mistake. Apparently, Waka grabbed his fiance’s bag, which contained the gun. The couple is in the process of moving and their stuff got mixed up, which is how the gun ended up in his possession.

Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez Expecting First Child Together
It looks like Stevie J is expanding his family. The ‘Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta’ star has confirmed that he and series co-star Joseline Hernandez are expecting their first baby together.
Stevie J made the announcement during an interview with V100.7 radio personality Reggie Brown last week.
“We got a new addition with the family too,” he cryptically said, “But I don’t wanna say too much, you know what I mean? We’re expanding the Jordan family, if you understand what I mean.”
Although Stevie J was coy with his statement we have to surmise that his Puerto Rican Princess is with child. There’s no word on the due date or gender of the baby.
Stevie J reportedly has five different baby mamas, including one he shares with ‘LHHA’ star Mimi Faust. In June, one of his baby mamas, former record executive Carol Antoinette Bennett, filed a lawsuit against the record producer for owing over $1 million in child support.
“This has been an ongoing situation,” she said. “We’ve actually been to court twice. The thing is I haven’t been the one pushing to go to court. He’s tried to go to court to not pay anything and has been denied twice. So basically, I’ve just been feeling that the system has been failing me and there’s not much I can do. My kids are in high school. My daughter just started high school so we’re preparing for college. It’s time for saving.”
Nevertheless, we want to congratulate Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez on their impending bundle of joy.

Lil Twist Not Happy with Young Money, Goes on Twitter Rant
Apparently, Tyga is not the only one angry with Young Money. Rapper Lil Twist put the label on blast via his Twitter feed over the mishandling of his career.
Twist, who has been signed to the label since 2007, blamed the Young Money management team for holding him back from dropping any new material. The 21-year-old rhymer appears to be upset over the delay of releasing his new mixtape ‘Golden Child 2,’ which was supposed to drop on Oct. 1. He tweeted:
Lil Twist vows to change his situation and is looking for new management.
“For what I’m asking for… On my mama and everything I love it’s waaaay more to it.. Team Twist bare with me I’m changing s— up. S— [wack],” he tweeted.
“Just like when all the BULLS— media outlets start putting all this BS out on my name … Theres a team of people “that I have” thats supposed to go clear my name [whether] it’s dropping an official statement or whatever the case may be but nah not my team,” he added. Just let the World go off of what they see… And I’m stuck to live in that s—.”
Lil Twist’s Twitter rant echoes Tyga’s accusations that Young Money is holding him back from releasing his new album, ‘The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.’ “Gold album been done. my label holding me hostage so i can’t release nothing,” he tweeted. “[I] might just leak it for my fans then let them make $ off it.”
Reps from Young Money had no comment on Lil Twist’s grievance with the label.

British Kids Battle Rap in the School Yard [VIDEO]
The battle rap scene has taken the U.S. by storm and now London kids are getting into it. In a hilarious video that has gone viral, British high schoolers engaged in a crude but fun playground battle rap contest.
In the clip, students from St. Mary Redcliffe and Temple School are spitting lyrical barbs at each other that would make Eminem blush.
“Your mom calls me the rhino, she makes me horny, now we are in the bed making a porny,” raps one high schooler. Another students spits, “I’m an expert at rapping, my bars are sick, as we learn from yesterday, you have a small d—.” Ouch!
Unfortunately, the students rap battle contest was rudely interrupted by an administrator who wasn’t amused by the boys’ extra-curricular activities.
Overall, these London high-schoolers could probably teach some of today’s top battle rappers how to spit clever put-downs. We’re just saying.
