Mike Epps Allegedly Fights Comedian For Mocking Kevin Hart Beef (@TheRealMikeEpps @LavarWalker)

Mike Epps apparently isn't a fan of Atlanta comedian Lavar Walker.

According to the AJC, Walker was attacked by Epps and two other men for a video he posted on Instagram making fun of Epps' issues with Kevin Hart.

In the parody above, Walker is seen mocking Epps with cocaine on his noise. Walker told police that he was performing at the Uptown Comedy Corner when Epps and his entourage wanted to meet the comedian in the back of the club. When Walker stepped to the back of the club he got into a verbal altercation with Epps leading Epps to punch the comedian in the face.

Two other men kicked Burton while he was on the ground, crushing his glasses.

Police are currently looking for any kind of surveillance videos that will help solve the case.

Walker's attorney Craig Wilson was surprised that the incident happened.

"It looks like somebody stepped on his face," he said. "It was a vicious beating over a silly video."

Walker has many ties to Kevin Hart. In 2012, he opened up for the comedian and won a Miler Life Comedy Competition in Las Vegas.

George Jung, Inspiration for 'Blow' Released From Prison

George Jung, known to many as "Boston George" was released from prison on Monday afternoon.

According to Heavy, the former drug kingpin served almost 20 years in prison for smuggling drugs such as marijuana and cocaine in the country from Columbia. George was responsible for 85% of the country's cocaine in the early 1970's.

The now 71-year-old was the inspiration behind the cult classic 'Blow' starring Johnny Depp. The actor visited George in prison and the two became friends.

Jung reportedly was supposed to be released in November but was released early. In a documentary for PBS, Jung mentions that he was given less time after he shared information with the feds about his partner Carlos Lehder.

"Well, the reason I made that decision is that Carlos Lehder had come to the end of his rope too," he said. "He was captured in Colombia by the DEA, brought to the United States, and I was approached to testify against him and I told them no, I had no inclination to do that. And then several weeks later it came out in the "Miami Herald" that he had written a letter to the Vice President of the United States, George Bush, offering to cooperate fully for total immunity. I just felt that that was the final slap in the face and I picked up the phone and I agreed to go to Jacksonville, Florida. I made a phone call and I was taken up to Jacksonville and interviewed. My story was checked out and I simply became a witness."

Jung will be staying at a half-way house on the West Coast while he adjusts to society.

Hot 97 Summer Jam 2014: SlowBucks Member Assaulted, Robbed During 50 Cent's Performance

A member of the rap/fashion brand collective SlowBucks was reportedly beaten and robbed onstage while 50 Cent was performing with Fabolous at Hot 97′s Summer Jam 2014 concert on Sunday (June 1).

As of now there’s no clear reason as to why the SlowBucks member was beaten, but back in April rapper Trav posted an Instagram photo with SlowBuck and 50′s son, Marquise Jackson, and the rapper purportedly didn’t take too well to it.

In addition, SlowBucks was recently signed to Epic Records by Sha Money XL — Fif’s former manager — so the six degrees of separation is pretty close, but that didn’t seem to slow down the altercation any.

In a newly released YouTube video, you can clearly see 50′s entourage kick and punch somebody, and appear with a gold chain afterwards. There are also reports that Fab and others tried to calm the situation down.

So far, the only response comes from SlowBucks via his Instagram page. In the photo, the alleged victim poses in front of two Ferrari vehicles with a gold chain around his neck. “#HateMeNow on #iTunes right now! #SlowBucks #OverEverything aka #SBOE #Queens N%a,” reads the caption. The “Hate Me Now” he’s referring to is the classic 1999 song from Nas featuring Diddy.

Either way, the melee puts another notch in 50′s belt, in terms of his reputation as a rapper not to be messed with.

Below are Twitter reactions from two concertgoers who saw the attack happen right before their eyes.

Drake Designs Air Jordan 6 'OVO' Sneaker

Just Fresh Kix

After helping Nicki Minaj with her Hot 97 Summer Jam 2014 set and dropping a new track, rapper Drake gives sneakerheads a glimpse of his latest creation — the Air Jordan 6 ‘OVO’ sneaker.

Along with the other Jordan Brand collaborations, the OVO squad keeps things simple and opt to put gold accents along the upper of a black nubuck shoe. The only real sign of an official collaboration is their owl logo along the heel. It almost looks as if they were interested in replacing the Jumpman with their own emblem but had to settle for being placed just next to it.

Interestingly enough, the Air Jordan 6 ‘OVO’ was originally teased as an April Fools Day Joke by Sneaker Freaker. But in an ironic twist of fate, it appears that these kicks could actually see the light of day. According to reports, the shoe is due out this summer.

Praying for Forgiveness? Donald Sterling Attends Black Church

This Sunday former Clippers owner Donald Sterling needed some salvation so he hit up Praises of Zion Baptist Church in South Central LA, where he and his bodyguards (just in case) sat through the entire service along with the African-American congregation.

According to TMZ, some church members were visibly uncomfortable with Sterling's presence, with one regular member leaving with his family as soon as Sterling & his security walked into the sanctuary.

On his way out, TMZ asked Sterling how he felt about ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer buying the team. See his awkward reaction above.

Nike KD 7: A Sneak Peek

Peezy57

We didn’t have to wait long at all to see what Nike had up their sleeves for Kevin Durant’s seventh signature sneaker and with just a few weeks left until their release we are getting more than just a sneak peek.

The Nike KD 7 doesn’t abandon the sensibilities of its predecessor at all but uses it as a solid base to employ new technology. The sneaker sports a new ‘Zone 3′ build which basically describes the sneakers mesh upper, midfoot strap and hyperposite heel with each one playing a specific role in helping improve movement and stability. As it stands now the first colorway out the gate will be the White / Obsidian and University Red version which will have to hold us over until August when other colorways will drop. The sneakers are set to retail at $150 when they do finally reach retailers.

The Nike KD 6 was a hit and if this one splashes just as big still remains to be seen but we suspect that Nike wont drop the ball on the MVP this go round.

Hot 97 Summer Jam 2014: G-Unit Reunites, Nas Relives 'Illmatic,' Nicki Minaj Performs

Hot 97′s 2014 Summer Jam is infamous for bringing out surprise guests. Every set throughout the event featured a surprise artist who shared the spotlight with the headliners at Metlife Stadium on Sunday (June 1).

Wiz Khalifa kicked it off by bringing Snoop Dogg during his set for a rendition of ‘Next Episode.’ Naturally, the two stoners went into ‘Young, Wild and Free,’ which got everyone to their feet. Wizzy also performed ’23,’ ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ and ended his set with ‘We Dem Boys,’ which sounded extra rock-and-roll with his live band playing behind him.

More surprise guests continued with the Roots as the Philly band brought out the LOX, M.O.P. and Black Sheep who reminded fans what ‘The Choice Is Yours’ sounded like live.

R&B hunk Trey Songz, who brought out Ty Dolla $ign to perform ‘Paranoid (Remix),’ brought the sensuality for the ladies with ’2 Reasons,’ ‘Be Where You Are,’ ‘Neighbors Know My Name’ and ‘Na Na.’ He also made sure to pay homage to Chris Brown by performing ‘Loyal.’

Although Breezy wasn’t at Summer Jam since he was in jail up until Monday morning (June 2), it seemed that his presence was felt during Sevyn Streeter and Lil Wayne‘s set as they both separately performed renditions of ‘Loyal.’

Meanwhile, Nas didn’t disappoint with his performance of his 1994 debut album ‘Illmatic,’ which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

“It’s been twenty years since this album came out,” he told the crowd. “I went to the first Summer Jam. 1994. It was beautiful.”

During his set, the Queensbridge MC brought out Meek Mill who performed his new track, ‘I Don’t Know (Suicidal),’ with Paloma Ford. Nas also invited French Montana who performed ‘Ain’t Worried ‘Bout Nothin.’

Nas finished his ‘Illmatic’ set and then performed a rousing rendition of ‘Hate Me Now.’ But just when we thought it was over, 50 Cent sauntered onstage to perform a few of his hits.

However, Fif didn’t do it alone. His fellow G-Unit members Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck reunited onstage.

Unfortunately, there was a fight that went down while 50 was performing, which increased security on the already overcrowded stage. While no one really knew what happened at that moment, the show went on with Yo Gotti joining 50 onstage for ‘Don’t Worry About.’ Although the audience was down for this G-Unit reunion, Hot 97 personality Ebro signaled for him to pull the plug and his mic was eventually turned off.

New York’s reigning rap queen Nicki Minaj graced the the stage, and it seems like the show turned into one big pop concert complete with the fog and lights.

Performing hits like ‘Monster,’ ‘Did It On Em’ and Beez In the Trap,’ the Queen Barbz had everyone focusing on her track record of making hits. After doing her version of ‘Boss A– Bitch,’ Minaj performed her new single, ‘Pills N Potions.’

Knowing she was scheduled to have friends join her onstage, everyone cheered when Young Thug, Soulja Boy and finally Drake and a shirtless Lil Wayne.

Finally, DJ Mustard was the actual show closer. “The party ain’t over,” he announced. “If you got love for the West Coast, put your W’s up.”

DJ Mustard didn’t do his set alone and brought Ty Dolla $ign to perform ‘Paranoid.’ Summer Jam Festival 2013 alum Kid Ink performed ‘Show Me’ while A$AP Ferg brought the house down with ‘Work’ and ‘Shabba.’

Bompton rhymer YG came through to perform ‘My N—-,’ and Young Jeezy performs ‘R.I.P.’ With the energy still up from those who were still in the stadium, DJ Mustard ended his set with his new single, ‘Down on Me.’

Drake Hits the Stage With Nicki Minaj in Underrated Air Jordans

A New Dawn: Twitter Goes In on Dawn Richard's "New Face"

Danity Kane's Dawn Richard recently shared a new selfie looking just a little different than she did in her MTV "Making The Band" days. Comparing photos, her nose is clearly more slender and she may or may not have had other work done.

While surgery is a personal decision every individual has the right to make, when one is in the public eye, there tends to be backlash, and this time is no different. Many tweeters had nothing but positive things to say, feeling there's nothing wrong with a little "self improvement." Others felt the difference is so blatant that Richard could not have expected the world to not notice and comment.

Take a look at Twitter's reaction to Richard's "new face" above.

Hot 97 Summer Jam 2014: Jhene Aiko Performs, Duets with Childish Gambino [PHOTOS]

Jhene Aiko Childish GambinoEmily Tan, The Boombox

Sometimes things just don’t go the way you want them to go. From the moment Jhene Aiko started her set at Hot 97′s Summer Jam Festival 2014 on Sunday (June 1) at Metlife Stadium, it seemed like there were some sound issues before she stepped onto the stage.

However, things seemed to really go downhill when her mic fell off the stand as she was about to start ‘Stay Ready (What a Life).’ Despite the obvious folly, she went on with the song and even gain some support from the crowd.

Despite a few mishaps, Aiko went on to give a strong performance. During her set, the California songbird performed ‘Bed Peace (Remix)’ with a shirtless Childish Gambino. The two played off each other so well that some in the crowd even questioned if there was anything going on between them. Dressed in a flowing sky blue outfit, she also sang her hit ‘The Worst’ and paid tribute to the late Tupac Shakur with a cover of ‘Keep Ya Head Up.’

Aside from being Aiko’s duet partner, Gambino was among the main acts on the Festival stage. The actor-turned-rapper performing ‘Worldstar,’ ‘I’m a Winner’ and ‘Sweatpants.’ Dressed simply in a white T-shirt and earthy shorts, Gambino threw down rhymes to a live band as opposed to a backing track.

“Yo Summer Jam, it’s a f—ing dream doing this s—,” he yelled before hyping the crowd up with ’3005.’ “Hot 97 was nice enough to f— with this s—.”

Meanwhile, Iggy Azalea opened the Summer Jam Festival with hits off her latest LP, ‘The New Classic,’ while Chinx performed ‘I’m a Coke Boy,’ ‘Right There’ and ‘Feelings.’

R&B singer Mack Wilds, who was dressed in a New York Yankees jersey, gave a high energy performance of ‘Henny,’ ‘Wild Things’ and his hit single ‘Own it.’ Finally, Nipsey Hussle‘s set list consisted of ‘All Get Right,’ ‘Checc Me Out’ and ‘U See Us.’

As the sun started to blaze over the audience, it seemed temperatures surged higher once August Alsina walked onto the stage. Met with high-pitched screams from girls who, as Cipha Sounds said, were ready to drop their panties, he opened his set with ‘Illest Bitch.’ He also performed ‘Get Ya Money,’ ‘Ghetto’ and ‘Make it Home.’

“I know New York is a tough motherf—in crowd,” he admitted, “but I love you.”
