Complex caught up with YG while out at SXSW in Austin, and the Compton emcee addressed the comparison Jeezy made about YG and DJ Mustard being the modern-day Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.

"Me and Mustard, we turnt up -- we got the city on lock," the 24-year-old rapper explained. "Our music, the feel of our music, and the content, like the videos and all that... people say that we remind them of Snoop and Dre back in the '90's."

Keyshia Cole is putting her cheating man on blast. On her new heartbreak song, ‘Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away),’ the singer sings about being trapped in a relationship with an unfaithful partner.

“Next time, I won’t throw my heart away again,” she laments on the track. Keyshia recounts how her man has a wandering eye and brought his side lady to her crib. “How could you bring that woman into our home? / The crazy part of it is that I took you right back… / I tried to work it out for the sake of our family,” the 32-year-old songstress sings.

In real life, Keyshia has split from baller hubby Daniel Gibson, with whom she has a son. The song’s lyrics could be a thinly-veiled jab at Gibson, who has been hit with cheating rumors in the past.

Rick Ross Goes Solo in 'Devil Is a Lie' Video

Rick Ross finally drops the video for the Jay-Z-assisted ‘The Devil Is Lie,’ the standout track from his No. 1 album ‘Mastermind.’ Unfortunately, Hov is not in the clip, much to our chagrin.

Nevertheless, it’s a slick visual featuring the Miami Bawse flossing his jewelry, his fleet of Maybachs and his tattoo-covered body. Rozay was even kind of enough to caption his lyrics with different languages for his international fans.

Although the Maybach Music Group honcho holds his own in the abbreviated clip, we’re disappointed that Jay-Z is no where to be seen.

Here’s hoping that Ross will re-shoot another video with Jay-Z to give their bombastic duet its just due.

Tupac Becomes a LEGO Toy

Tupac is back — in LEGO form. The legendary late rapper has been turned into a LEGO-style toy courtesy of designer Adly Syairi Ramly.

The doll features the West Coast MC’s signature “Thug Life” tattoo on his shirtless body as well as a white bandana and sagging jeans. Pac continues the designer’s foray into creating LEGO musicians. Ramly’s LEGO series features 20 music icons like the Beastie Boys and the Beatles.

“Thank you for the acknowledgements everyone. It is truly overwhelming and such an honor,” the artist shared on Instagram about the series.

Ramly isn’t the only one to recreate popular images with LEGOs. In 2012, Aaron Savage recreated famous album covers with the children’s blocks.

"Twerk Queen" Jhonni Blaze, real name Jzapal Jackson has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of her boyfriend, Brian Washington back in December.

According to Hollywood Street King, she was wanted for questioning about the crime and fled to Atlanta "to avoid being questioned by homicide detectives."

This lead to a warrant being issued for her arrest and she was officially charged with being a "Fugitive From Justice" which can be seen on her paperwork, along with her mug shot above.

She's being held at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, GA

Beyonce and Jay Z Tour the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam (@s_c_ @beyonce)

While in Amsterdam for a stop on her "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour," Beyonce and hubby Jay Z paid a solemn visit to the Anne Frank House.

The house, now a museum dedicated to preserving the legacy of the young woman, was where Anne and her family hid from the Nazis before eventually being discovered. Anne made fastidious journal entries during her time in hiding, and her diary is considered one of the most valuable written artifacts for what Jews experienced in Nazi-occupied territory. Anne tragically perished at the Auschwitz concentration camp along with her mother and sister.

"American singer Beyoncé and rapper & producer Jay Z visited the Anne Frank House today. They were more than an hour inside and very impressed by their visit to the hiding place of Anne Frank," wrote the museum on its Facebook page.

Beyonce shared a few pics from her visit to the house on Instagram, and a fan snapped a photo of the couple as the exited the museum. "Came to Anne Frank, saw these two too! #random #celeb," he captioned the pic.

Vince Staples Recalls His Tumultuous Childhood in 'Nate' Video

Vince Staples released a video today (March 20) for ‘Nate,’ one of the standout tracks from his new mixtape ‘Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2.’

The clip, directed by Alexi Papalexopoulos, gives us a P.O.V look into the Staples’ life as a young kid. Among the things we witness in the video is his father, a former drug dealer, who gets arrested for a domestic dispute with his mother. We also see the corner boys on the block selling dope. Don’t blink or else you will miss a cameo by Staples himself.

Tyler, the Creator's Attorney Denies Rapper Incited Riot at SXSW 2014

Tyler, the Creator’s attorney is denying claims from police in Austin, Texas that the Odd Future rhymer caused a riot at a show during SXSW last week.

Perry Q. Minton released a statement to the Associated Press, which explains what happened on March 13 at the Scoot inn.

As we previously reported, Austin police arrested Tyler and charged him with inciting a riot, which is a misdemeanor charge that carries a penalty of up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.

Authorities say that the ‘Wolf’ creator allegedly encouraged people outside to bum-rush the gate at the Scoot Inn after the venue had already reached its maximum capacity of 999 people inside.

Police obtained a video from the concert that shows hundreds of fans bursting through a gate at the Scoot Inn.

“Regardless of the size of the crowd, the encouragement of unruly and unlawful behavior is against the law and cannot be tolerated,” reads Tyler’s arrest affidavit.

Minton insists that the incident leading to Tyler’s arrest didn’t constitute a riot.

“At no time during the… concert did Tyler seek to incite or participate in riotous activity as has been reported in the press,” he wrote. “It is clear from video clips and witness reports that the patrons and fans attending the show on that date were full of positive energy appropriate for this type of event and never exhibited any anger or aggression whatsoever.”

“For law enforcement or the media to describe the rush of fans through the gate and the subsequent benign, boisterous activity as a riot is an unfortunate and inaccurate description of what occurred,” Minton continued.

Tyler, the Creator does not apologize in the statement. However, his attorney acknowledges that the rhymer “fully appreciates” the need for police to protect citizens at a concert event, but he didn’t do anything to disrupt them from doing their job.

Woman Dies After Attempting Breast Augmentation With Vaseline

A 39-year-old Argentinian woman died after injecting Vaseline into her breasts in an attempt to make them bigger.

Sonia Perez Llanzon suffered a fatal blood clot in her lungs a month after being admitted to the hospital with breathing problems following the procedure. The clot was caused by Vaseline entering her bloodstream, reports Rosario, Argentina newspaper 'La Capital.'

"She denied everything at first but then confessed she had injected Vaseline into them," said Julio Pla, Head of Surgery at Lucio Molas Hospital in Santa Rosa, 350 miles southwest of Buenos Aires.

"I've never seen a case like this. The human body has antibodies to remove bacteria and viruses but it hasn't got any mechanisms against this type of product."

Llanzon, a marathon runner and boxer, suffered third degree burns last year while sunbathing, according to local media.

"She was obsessed with her appearance," said an unnamed friend.

Chris Brown May Settle With Victim, Leave Jail

Chris Brown may be able to get out of jail if the price is right. The singer could spring himself from his current jail stint by paying off the victim who claims Breezy broke his nose.

The ‘X’ creator is currently in jail for being kicked out of rehab. Due to a deal he made with a judge, Brown was hauled off to prison. Basically, if he left rehab, he was getting put in the slammer. He originally violated his probation stemming from the 2009 Rihanna assault after he was involved in another assault in Washington, D.C., last October, which is was prompted the original rehab stay.

Brown could be in prison for up to four years if a judge finds him guilty of violating his probation.

Sources tell TMZ that Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, has contacted the victim’s lawyer and offered him a huge financial settlement. Apparently, Geragos wants a civil settlement so that the victim will drop the case. The same sources say that prosecutors are aware of the negotiations and the deal may already be in the can.

The crooner could be a free man sooner than fans thought. He was originally ordered to remain in jail until April 23.

Lil Wayne‘s in-depth interview with journalist Elliott Wilson continues. In part two of his CRWN talk at SXSW in Austin, Texas, Weezy fields fan questions about a host of topics including skateboarding and sports.

An avid skater, Wayne talks about his experiences at the skate park. When asked if his fellow skaters have ever slipped him a demo (like one CRWN fan did) the rapper laughs. “Nah. Them dudes. They just be worrying about skating. That is so different… It’s dope to me,” the MC shares.

Wayne reveals that there’s a camaraderie in the skate community that’s different from music. “Everybody for you… They stop what they doing… Man. Motivation,” he explains. ‘Tha Carter V’ creator states that it’s this love that fuels him to keep skating, despite the injuries he’s sustained.

He also touched upon one of his other favorite hobbies, sports. He revealed he was a fan of athletes like Michael Jordan, Deion Sanders and Dominique Wilkins as a kid, and he’s loyal to his favorite teams now. Always the joker, Weezy threw in that his loyalty extends to romance: “Ladies. Hint. Hint.”

Chris Brown May Settle With Alleged Victim for Big Bucks (@chrisbrown)

Chris Brown is currently sitting in jail awaiting trial for his D.C. assault case on April 17, but that may all change if he ponies up some serious loot, reports TMZ.

According to sources connected with the case, Breezy's lawyer, Mark Geragos, has contacted the lawyer for the man Brown allegedly assaulted in D.C. and offered to settle the case with money; TMZ estimates the amount to be several hundred thousand dollars.

A civil settlement would mean the alleged victim tells prosecutors he's no longer interested in pursuing the criminal case. If the settlement goes through, prosecutors would drop the criminal case and the judge in the Rihanna assault case would let Chris out of jail either this week or early next, since he would no longer be in possible violation of his probation.

Ray Jasper Executed for Death of Studio Owner

Ray Jasper, an aspiring rapper who was convicted 15 years ago for killing a studio owner, has been executed.

Officials announced on Wednesday (March 19) that Jasper was pronounced dead at 6:31PM CT after a lethal does of pentobarbital was injected into his body.

The 33-year-old inmate was sentenced to death for the murder of David Alejandro. Jasper cut his throat and then stabbed him to death during a robbery in November 1998. Two other men who assisted in the slaying are serving life sentences for their actions.

According to KSAT News, before being put to death, the 33-year-old inmate spoke quietly, asking his family to “take care of each other, stay strong and faithful to God.” He also thanked his supporters and told his daughter “to be strong and have a great life.”

Jasper then asked that the “Lord God almighty in heaven Jesus Christ see my spirit.”

No one from Alejandro’s family, who are in opposition of the death penalty, was in attendance. Instead, they decided to spend the evening together in San Antonio, Texas.

In a seven-page letter to Gawker, Jasper wrote about the prison industry and offer his thoughts on the death penalty.

“The death penalty needs to be abolished,” he wrote. “Life without parole is still a death sentence. The only difference is time. To say you need to kill a person in a shorter amount of time is just seeking revenge on that person.”

Jasper is the third inmate to be executed this year in Texas, which holds the record of executing more people than any other state in the U.S.

Rick Ross Says MMG Movie Could 'Generate Hundreds of Millions of Dollars'

After mastering music and business, it was only a matter of time before Rick Ross set his sights on the world of film. The Maybach Music Group honcho says that an epic movie from his crew is coming to a screen near you.

Speaking with BBC Radio’s Zane Lowe, Rozay teased his forthcoming film, which appears to be biographical in nature. “This is my talent. These were my ideas. We’re on film right now and I think this film could possibly generate hundreds of millions of dollars and it’s just ideas and concepts,” he said.

The Bawse was mum on actual details of the flick but promised a shocked response. “I can’t tell you yet,” he said. “When I do, it’s gonna be like, ‘Yo.’ That’s the effect I want.” Ross hints that the movie may be autobiographical in nature.

Chance the Rapper Releases Alternate James Blake Collaboration 'Save Yourself First'

Last year, Chance the Rapper teamed up with James Blake for the ‘Life Round Here‘ remix. On Tuesday (March 18), the Chicago rhymer dropped an original incomplete verse from their recording session.

“This was the og idea for me and james’ first collaboration,” he explained. “James never liked this [verse].”

On the song, the Chicago native raps an introspective verse while Blake sings in the background.

“Light ain’t been around here in a minute / Darkness been swallowed it up / Chaos been ’round for a minute / Marketed, bottled it up / But wear that fake smile like a cape / Save yourself first,” he spits.

In the meantime, Chance is currently working on his anticipated debut album, ‘Social Experiment.’ The ‘Acid Rap’ artist will soon begin his run of festival dates starting with the 2014 Coachella Music Festival in April.
