Suge Knight to Stand Trial on Murder Charges, Experiences Medical Emergency After Court
Suge Knight was ordered to stand trial for murder and attempted murder charges during a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles on Thursday (April 16).
The charges stem from the January 29 incident, in which the former rap mogul ran over two men with pickup truck, killing one and seriously injuring the other. According to the Los Angeles Times, Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen made the decision after the surviving victim, Cle “Bone” Sloan, refused to testify against Knight last Monday (April 13).
During his testimony, the 51-year-old actor and consultant told prosecutors he couldn’t remember many of the details surrounding the incident. Sloan was left severely injured from the incident, while a second man, Terry Carter, was killed. Sloan did admit that he was the aggressor in the altercation but wouldn’t identify Knight in the courtroom. “I’m no snitch …. I will not be used to send Suge Knight to prison,” he said.
After today’s preliminary hearing was finished, Knight was rushed to a local hospital for a “medical emergency,” sheriff’s officials said.
TMZ is also reporting that Knight’s bail was reduced from $25 million to $10 million, which his attorney, Matt Fletcher, said his client could possibly post today.
There’s no word on Knight’s current medical condition or if he did post bail.

Cam'ron Discusses the Problem With Snitching on 'The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore' [VIDEO]
Eight years ago, Cam’ron stunned hip-hop fans and critics when he was interviewed on 60 Minutes and revealed that he wouldn’t snitch on a serial killer who lived next door to him. Now the rapper is discussing the act of snitching even further on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.
Killa Cam joined the snitching panel discussion on Wednesday night’s show (April 15), along with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and comedian Chris Distefano of MTV’s Girl Code.
When Wilmore asked the Diplomats leader if he still holds the same opinion as he did in 2007, Cam didn’t answer directly but said it all depends on where you live. His point was, if you live in a low-crime neighborhood and snitch on someone, there’s less of a chance of that person coming home and doing harm to you.
“It’s about where you’re living at,” he said. “Because the thing is this, just because you snitched that doesn’t mean they’re going to get convicted.”
“Now you’re snitching on somebody who has to go through a court process, go through trial, go through et cetera, et cetera and then comes out back on the streets and looks at you like, ‘That was you who told on me,” Cam added.
A hilarious part of the segment is when Wilmore asks Cam’ron if he would tell on his boy if he killed his brother. “I’ll just answer with this,” the rapper said then curled his lips up, as if to say the host was asking a stupid question.
Wilmore had a great point of his own when he explained that police expect citizens to snitch on each other but officers don’t even snitch on each other. Many cops won’t report improper conduct due to an unspoken code they have, so they’re being hypocritical in telling the community to do the opposite.

Jay Z Debuts 'Glory' Video Dedicated to Blue Ivy
After announcing the launch of TIDAL three weeks ago, Jay Z has finally released his own contribution to the music streaming service. This effort from the rapper is a special one because it is a revamped version of his song, “Glory.”
Hov released the track more than three years ago in 2012, to celebrate the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy on Jan. 7, 2012. In the new video, the song is presented as a live orchestral version with the MC rhyming about entering fatherhood. The visual tugs at your heart strings and includes clips from rehearsals Jay did for his 2012 benefit gigs at Carnegie Hall for the Shawn Carter Foundation.
“The most amazing feeling I feel / Words can’t describe the feeling, for real / Baby, I paint the sky blue / My greatest creation was you, you: Glory,” he raps.
The “Glory” clip also finds the Brooklyn rapper showing pics of his daughter to friends like Alicia Keys, Nas and Bridget Kelly.
Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Madonna have already released exclusive content through the TIDAL streaming platform. Beyonce also released a clip of her own on the anniversary of her and Jay Z’s wedding. The singer performed a new track called “Die With You.”

T.I. Remixes Ciara's 'I Bet'
Ciara released her very personal ballad “I Bet” earlier this year and with her new album, Jackie, debuting next month, she’s on track for another R&B takeover. Now T.I. jumps on the track and gave it a little makeover.
With a beat that sounds similar to INOJ’s 1997 track, “Let Me Love You Down,” the quicker version sounds more uplifting and really makes you want to get up from a broken heart and really move on. While Ciara’s lyrics stay the same, there are few bits that are new including T.I.’s verse, which reinforces Ciara’s message on the track.
“Wait a minute shorty first thing’s first / Never leave me like you can’t do worse / Don’t blame me if your ass end up somewhere with somebody who ain’t worth ten plus / I swear, please believe do trust this here,” Tip delivers midway through the track.
This version of the track is a special one that the two worked together on. However, it doesn’t look like it’ll be appearing on the upcoming album. However, the version remixed by R3hab and the one where she joined forces with former Jonas Brothers member Nick Jonas on the deluxe version of the record. See the full tracklisting below.

TIME magazine releases its annual list of “100 Most Influential People” and Kanye West is one of the cover stars for the issue.
Photographed by Sebastian Kim, the rapper, who is dressed simply in a black T-shirt and wearing a thin chain and bracelet, refrains from smiling on the cover — like usual. On the list, West is joined by Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, ballet dancer Misty Copeland, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and critically acclaimed journalist Jorge Ramos. West was named one of the 2015′s Titans and his interview was penned by Elon Musk, an engineer, entrepreneur and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Motors. He praised the Yeezus creator for his continuous hustle to be a cultural icon. Elon wrote:
“In his debut album, over a decade ago, Kanye issued what amounted to a social critique and a call to arms (with a beat): “We rappers is role models: we rap, we don’t think.” But Kanye does think.
