Forbes Says Dr. Dre Isn't a Hip Hop Billionaire (@DrDre)

Dr. Dre is on his way to the Billionaire Boys Club but according to Forbes, he's a few million short.

According to TMZ, the Assistant Managing Editor for the Wealth section of the publication says Dr. Dre will have a net worth of $800 million after the Beats/Apple deal.

News of the producer's new wealth rose last week when it was announced that Apple was interested in purchasing Beats Electronics where Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre have respected shares.

Dre boasted in a video aside Tyrese about the deal and declared himself the first Hip Hop Billionaire.

After the staff calculated all of the producer's assets they claim that he won't be on the Forbes 400 list because he isn't a billionaire.

However, Dre may have the last laugh. The annual lists have gotten the publication in hot water. Back in 2013, supermodel Gisele Bundchen was audited by the IRS after Forbes declared her the highest paid model with a net worth of $42 million. The supermodel claims that Forbes was wrong in their calculations.

"It's sad, because the people who write these things don't have my bank account details," Bundchen said. "I do OK, I earn plenty, but not as much as they say."

Air Jordan 6 Retro 'Red Leather'

Sneakergaga

We’re not sure exactly what Jordan Brand has up their sleeve but we do know one thing, it’s fun trying to figure out. This Air Jordan 6 Retro just popped up and it sports a vibrant red leather upper leaving us with a ton of questions that we’re dying to have answered.

This Air Jordan 6 Retro gets its stand in nickname based on its use of tumbled and smooth red leather but something tells us it will be better defined in the coming days as more formal release information is announced. With black accents on the tongue as well as hits of green breaking up the tonality things are further shaken up by the use of white on the outsole. A graphic print lining gives off a few more clues but the original is still overall mysterious.

According to the rumor mill, the sneaker is possibly associated with Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule production company. We are still waiting on the other shoe to drop but lets not overlook whats right in front of our eyes, and that is a really fresh Air jordan 6 silhouette.

Stay tuned for release information and feel free to speculate this pair’s origin with us.

It’s unclear if Debbie Mathers is actually involved in the video because we don’t see her face. At the end of the visual, she sheds tears while reading an apologetic letter from her son.

“It’s a great, great story. It’s heartfelt, some pain in it, but that’s life,” said Lee about the cinematic video. “So that’s why we’re here, back in the ‘hood, 8 Mile Detroit, shooting where all this took place.”
