Supreme x Vans Spring Summer 2015
Streetwear brand Supreme has done some great collaborations. Previous partnerships with North Face and Nike are legendary and fans are always waiting for the next drop. This year, Supreme is working with footwear and apparel company Vans on an exciting collaborative sneaker.
The Vans Sk8 Mid and Vans Old Skool silhouettes are both given an orange camouflage print upper for that pop of color. The rest of the sneaker is done in black suede, while the white stitching brings a bit of contrast for an overall intense look.
These kicks are going to blaze the streets up when they eventually hit the Supreme stores. At a retail value of $118, they are extremely affordable. The only problem is that a release date hasn’t been finalized as of yet. So it looks like we’ll have to be patient and savor the images courtesy of Highsnobiety.

Charmayne Maxwell, Brownstone Singer, Dies From Fall
Sad news to report in the R&B community. Charmayne Maxwell, a singer of the ‘90s R&B group Brownstone, has died after a mysterious fall.
Details are scarce, but according to TMZ, Maxwell was at a soccer game in Denmark on Saturday (Feb. 28) when she accidently fell. No additional information on how she exactly died was provided.
Upon hearing the news of Maxwell’s death, fellow Brownstone singer Teisha Brown went on Instagram to share a photo of the trio singing together on stage. “I just need to be by you 1 more time on stage MAX! #BROWNSTONE #FOREVER R.I.H. I miss you already!! My heart is so heavy. I LOVE YOU SISTER!!” she wrote.
Maxwell’s brother, Brandon, went on Twitter to mourn his sister’s death, tweeting, “R.I.P my beautiful sister Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell. I can’t even believe I’m typing this right now.”
Brownstone was a popular R&B female trio who were signed to Michael Jackson’s MJJ Music label back in the mid-’90s. In 1995, they released their debut album, From the Bottom Up, which garnered two Top 10 R&B hits: “If You Love Me” and “Grapevyne.” The former song earned them a Billboard Music Award and a Grammy nomination.
Maxwell has been married to Danish producer Carsten “Soulshock” Schack for 20 years. They met when Michael Jackson hired the producer to create music with Brownstone. Maxwell leaves behind a son named Nicolaj with Soulshock.

'Black Madam' Claims Amber Rose Received Butt Injections
Amber Rose’s glorious derriere is often talked about on social media, but recently it was brought up in a murder trial in Philadelphia.
The blonde-haired model name and booty was mentioned during testimony in the case of Padge-Victoria Windslowe who is on trial for third-degree murder. Windslowe, who goes by the stage name “Black Madam,” is accused of injecting 20-year-old British student Claudia Aderotimi with low-grade silicone at a Philadelphia airport hotel in 2011. Weeks later, Aderotimi became ill and died at a local hospital. An autopsy revealed that the young woman died of silicone poisoning.
According to Philly.com, under cross-examination, the self-proclaimed “Michelangelo of buttocks injections,” name-dropped Rose as a client and being solicited by Nicki Minaj.
The 45-year-old, who claims that she has been doing butt injections for 20 years, testified that Rose’s ex-boyfriend Kanye West would drop her off for a procedure. “Amber was like a walking billboard,” she said. “She wanted a really big butt.”
When Assistant District Attorney Carlos Vega asked Windslowe why someone who was dating West wouldn’t go to a licensed plastic surgeon, she responded, “I was the best, and I don’t mean that to be cocky.”
Windslowe also claimed that girlfriends of R&B singers Chris Brown and Mario were her clients as well but didn’t mention their names during her testimony.
During questioning, Windslowe also admitted that she had no formal medical training, but said that she had been taught by a nurse in Washington Heights, N.Y.
Windslowe is charged with third-degree murder. If convicted, she faces 40 years in prison.
Reps for Amber Rose had no comment on the matter.
