50 Cent Calls Joe Budden a 'Bitch' on Twitter, Apologizes

50 Cent Joe BuddenNoam Galai / Jerritt Clark, Getty Images

50 Cent and Joe Budden almost found themselves involved in a heated Twitter spat over Power‘s marketing tactics. As you may know, the G-Unit leader is very critical of Fox’s Empire, which he’s previously accused of biting from his own series when it comes to how they market their show.

Apparently, Budden wasn’t feeling the promotional efforts from the team behind 50 Cent’s Power, which he caught wind of last night on Twitter before Empire‘s season finale. “‘Empires are built on Power’…… They petty lol,” the Slaughterhouse member wrote on Twitter, referring to the tagline used to promote Fif’s show.

The G-Unit head honcho caught wind of the New Jersey rhymer’s tweet and called him out for it, referring to him as a “bitch.” However, Budden responded by stating he’s a fan of the show. As a result, it seems like Fif blamed liquor — specifically his new EFFEN vodka — for forgetting the quote Budden was referring to was from Power.

Budden accepted 50 Cent’s apology and the two are still good friends.

Beefs aside, the second season of Power will begin June 6 on the Starz network.

See What Rappers and Singers Looked Like When They Released Their First Albums

J. Crew x Vans Two-Tone Denim Pack

J. Crew

We’ve seen J. Crew collaborate on shoes for quite some time now but they usually punch up a pair of New Balance. This time, the retailer made a hard left by teaming up with Vans for this tricked-out pack of denim-tinged silhouettes.

Denim is added to the upper of both the Vans Authentic and Vans Slip-On and the results are pretty stellar. Each shoe gets both sides of the fabric for a cuffed jean feel that is only heightened by the use of tan seams and boot laces.

If you’re wondering when you’ll be able to pick them up, they’re available now at J. Crew for approximately $70 a pair. We’d suggest acting fast before the supplies run out.

10 Looks That Prove Pharrell Williams Is a Fashion Icon

Pharrell Williams is a trailblazer in the recording studio, but he’s also a pioneer when it comes to his fashion sense. On numerous occasions, the rapper, songwriter and producer has gained major attention on the red carpet for his unique style choices. As a result, the Council of Fashion Designers of America have named him the recipient of the 2015 Fashion Icon Award.

From his infamous Arby’s-meets-Smokey-the-Bear hat at the 2014 Grammys to his conscious decision to wear cuffed shorts to as many red carpet events as possible — no matter how formal they are — Pharrell has always taken a risky approach to his wardrobe selections. One day the singer will rock an insanely long, bright pink blazer and the next, he’ll be head to toe in camouflage. He also has no qualms about accessorizing and we’re not just talking about his hat collection. Pharrell experiments with jewelry and eyewear, which makes his 2013 collaboration with Moncler a great match.

Diane von Furstenberg, designer and president of the CFDA, put it best when she said, “If cool was a person, it would be Pharrell, not just for his looks and sense of style but for his kindness and openness. I cannot imagine anyone not seduced by him.”

After a look through the “Come Get It Bae” artist’s previous red carpet appearances and performances, it’s clear why he’s a fashion icon. You might not necessarily wear one of Pharrell’s ensembles or even agree with what he decides to step out in at a particular event, but the point is he chose it, wore it with confidence and for that, he deserves the honor.

The lauded entertainer will officially be given the CFDA award on June 1 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City, but in the meantime, check out 10 Looks That Prove Pharrell Williams Is a Fashion Icon here.

Adidas Superstar Suede Pack

Sneakers.fr

Nothing says spring like suede sneakers and if you’re ready to usher in the warmth in style, Adidas features a few pairs in the fancy fabric. For that added appeal, it’s a model that we typically see decked out in leather, making this drop a must cop.

The Adidas Superstar Suede Pack includes four suede colorways of the shoe and each one looks super supple. Navy, green, black and red are all accounted for and each one is trimmed in white to help unify the theme. A gold tongue tag and tonal laces are the perfect finishing touches for this look and keeps things super clean.

These will be hitting retailers on April 1, which may be April Fool’s Day, but this drop is no laughing matter. Check your local retailers to see if they’ll be in stock.

Titolo x Asics Gel Lyte III Papercut

Titolo

Titolo pays homage to their roots with this latest release that plays off of the cultural phenomena of paper cutting. In Switzerland, the artform is known as Scherenschnitt and its intricate designs have made their way to the upper for this Asics Gel Lyte III.

The runner is seen here decked out in black suede and tipped with fire-red accents acting as highlights. With all of this great color-blocking going on, it’s pretty easy to miss the cool black-and-white paper cut designs woven in, but the subtlety of it all is one of the sneaker’s selling points.

This release is in honor of Titolo’s Zurich boutique, so you can best believe that they’ll be available in store when they drop on March 28. They should be landing in the U.S. shortly after, according to Sneakernews, so make sure to check in with your favorite Asics dealer to find out exactly when they’ll arrive.

Pharrell Williams to Receive CFDA's 2015 Fashion Icon Award

Pharrell WilliamsAlexander Tamargo, Getty Images

Pharrell Williams has been honored many times for his achievements in music, and even received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year for his countless contributions in entertainment and beyond. Now he can add another feat to the list, but this time in the fashion realm.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America has named the “Happy” artist their 2015 Fashion Icon. Announced Wednesday (March 18), the CFDA gave the honor to him due to his strides in style and his overall awesomeness as a person.

“If cool was a person, it would be Pharrell, not just for his looks and sense of style but for his kindness and openness. I cannot imagine anyone not seduced by him,” Diane von Furstenberg, who is president of the CFDA, said in a statement.

Pharrell will officially be given the award on June 1 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City, but he seemed to be surprised by the news. However, he shared his gratitude on Twitter.

The singer doesn’t only take fashion risks on the red carpet, but he is also a designer in his own right. He’s co-founded the Billionaire Boys Club line with BAPE owner, Nigo; collaborated with a number of brands including Adidas, Moncler sunglasses and Uniqlo; and worked on a jewelry line with Louis Vuitton.

Clearly his qualifications are endless when it comes to fashion, so this award is well-deserved.

The CFDA Fashion Icon Award was presented to Rihanna in 2014. At the event, the Bajan beauty wowed everyone by wearing a sheer floor-length gown that was covered in 216,000 Swarovski crystals. Previous winners of the award included Lady Gaga, Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman, Johnny Depp and Kate Moss.

Chief Keef and Andy Milonakis Take an Out of This World Trip in 'Glo Gang' Video

Both eccentric and a bit out of this world, Chief Keef and Andy Milonakis team up in the visual for their latest DP Beats-produced track, “Glo Gang”

The two first hooked up via Twitter and ended up collaborating on Chief Keef’s Sorry 4 the Wait mixtape with “Hot S—.” Now, the unusual rap duo are back together, letting fans know they’re the “G-l-o-g-a-n-g. Money, we get plenty. Thots, we get plenty.”

The track seems to follow in Lil Wayne’s footsteps — similar to Keef’s Sorry 4 the Weight mixtape title — and lyrically expand beyond the typical money, cars and women, though none of those cliche topics are overlooked.

“N—-s out here snakes / N—-s act like they your friend, they fake / They want the food up on your plate / They want your shoes, they want your skates,” Chief raps.

Looks like the Chicago rhymer is trying to send a message. Watch Andy Milonakis and Chief Keef visit a trippy universe in the Sean Garrett-directed clip above.

Snoop Dogg Goes Psychedelic in 'Peaches N Cream' Video

Snoop Dogg released the lyric video for his new single, “Peaches N Cream,” last week, and while that was a work of art in itself, he’s back with a new visual for the Pharrell-produced track.

Directed by Aramis Israel and Hannah Lux Davis, the video quickly sucks you in and takes you into his psychedelic world. The song finds Snoop eying one girl at the party, but in this video, he’s surrounded by women who look similar to Pam Grier’s portrayal of Foxy Brown in the 1974 film of the same name.

We also see the 43-year-old rapper in a ridiculously fluffy fur coat and shirtless with a plethora of ladies’ hands rubbing all over him. Pharrell makes an appearance in the video as well and enters during the chorus.

Aside from the visual, the West Coast MC also released the cover art for the single on Instagram. “Peaches N Cream” is the first song off Snoop’s upcoming album, BUSH, which is set to release on May 12 via Columbia Records — the first LP release on this label. You can pre-order a copy of the record on iTunes.

Snoop also performed “Peaches N Cream” on the new FOX series, Empire, last night. You can watch the Doggfather below. Before the week comes to a close, he’ll give the keynote speech at SXSW tomorrow (March 20) at the Austin Convention Center. If you’re in Austin and want to catch him unleash his wisdom on everything from music to movies to his non-profit work, be sure to get to the venue by 11AM for a seat. In the past, Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen and Lady Gaga were all chosen to be keynote speakers.

Sam Smith Debuts Extreme Weight Loss on Instagram [PHOTO]

Gym is kicking my ass today

A photo posted by Sam Smith (@samsmithworld) on Mar 18, 2015 at 7:26am PDT

Looks like Sam Smith didn’t want some extra weight to stay with him and did something about it. The U.K.-bred singer showed off his new leaner body on Tuesday (March 17), sharing a photo on Instagram.

He even gave a shout out to the woman that he credits for the dramatic weight loss, author Amelia Freer.

“Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life. Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food,” Smith wrote as a caption for the post. “Everyone go check out her incredible book, and start to live healthy. It’s not even about weight loss it’s about feeling happy in yourself. Love you Amelia & thank you for making me feel so happy inside and out.”

And for all non-Brits wondering, one stone is equivalent to 14 pounds. So believe it or not, that means the soul crooner lost 1 pound each day in a two-week period.

From the way his Instagram has been looking this week, it seems like the “Stay With Me” singer is definitely a changed man for the good.

On Monday (March 16), another pic posted on his account was captioned “Eating Clean.”

And just yesterday (March 18), the Grammy Award winner wasn’t shy about posting yet another image of himself feeling the burn at the gym. “Gym is kicking my ass today,” he wrote.
