The LOX dropped the visuals for their street banger ‘All We Know’ earlier this week and now they’ve blessed us with another gritty video for ‘Now Listen.’
It’s obvious Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P rep New York hard as they rhyme in subway stations, Times Square and use other well-known areas around the Big Apple as a backdrop.
The video was directed by Brandon Dull and he pretty much avoids using special effects and fancy camera work, and instead focuses on what the LOX do best: spit hardcore rhymes about the streets, the music industry and eliminating their foes.
This particular cut comes from the ‘Third Sermon’ of their ‘Trinity’ EP series. Together Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, and Styles P remind us why we’ve had their no-frills brand of rap on repeat since the 1990s.

With the release of ‘Reclassified’ on Nov. 24, Iggy Azalea has shared a new track off the the revamped album.
On ‘We in This Bitch,’ Iggy Azalea demands respect and calls out the haters with lyrics like “Ridin’ d— won’t get me nowhere / I ain’t that type of chick.”
However, she not only throws verbal daggers at the mic, but also requests that the public put her into the same group as her hip-hop peers.
“Unpolished product of my environment / Trying to get the same type of love and respect / As the people I be rhyming with,” she delivers.
‘Reclassified’ features four new tracks that include collaborations with MØ, Jennifer Hudson and Ellie Goulding.

50 Cent Thinks Wiz Khalifa's Purple Hair Is Hilarious [VIDEO]
Last month, Wiz Khalifa was gloriously ridiculed for dying his dreadlocks purple. Now 50 Cent is sounding on the brightly colored ‘do.
This week, Snoop Dogg posted a meme on Instagram (see the image below) of a dog wearing a purple scarf around his head beside a photo of the ‘We Dem Boyz’ rapper’s hairstyle. 50 Cent joined in by poking fun at Wiz’s newly-colored dreads by re-posting the photo. “I can’t stop laughing oh s—, I’m starting to cry.snoop put this s— up,” the Queens, N.Y., MC wrote as the caption.
In an interview with Hip Hollywood, Fif explains why he finds his hair so hilarious. When asked if he would dye his hair purple, he quipped, “No, that wouldn’t work for me, for my imaging.”
50 added that he was a big fan of Wiz and that the photo was done in jest.
“I like Wiz. I re-posted that picture because it was the funniest thing,” he said. “I almost started crying I was laughing so hard.”
“Artists tend to do things to stand out off of shock value,” he added. “Prince didn’t go that far with purple.”
Well, Wiz doesn’t seem to mind the lavender hairdo. The Pittsburgh rhymer is still posting photos of himself on Instagram flaunting his look. So take that Fif.

Rick Ross Bets $100,000 That Miami Heat Make the NBA Playoffs
LeBron James may have left the Miami Heat for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but that doesn’t mean that loyal fans have abandoned their favorite team. Especially Rick Ross, who bet a ton of money that the Heat would be one of the top teams in the NBA playoffs this year.
While visiting New York radio station Hot 97 this week, the bearded rap star bet Funkmaster Flex that the Heat would make the playoffs and the Cavs wouldn’t, suggesting that James leaving the team wouldn’t be that impactful.
So far, the Heat is off to a good start, with a record of 5-2, and they look pretty strong with Chris Bosh being the focal point of the offense these days. And if Dwayne Wade can stay healthy for most of the season, Ross’ prediction of the Heat making the playoffs isn’t that absurd.
But what about the Cavs? Will James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love be able to take the team to the promised land? Maybe so, but they’ll definitely have to get a lot better before they can consistently beat the NBA’s elite teams, like the Chicago Bulls and the world champion San Antonio Spurs.
As far as Ross’ bet with Flex, we’ll have to see who pays up at the end of the regular season. But here’s a question: Who has to pay if both teams make the playoffs, and both teams have equal amounts of success? They should have definitely discussed that possibility before making the bet final.

Tinashe to Hit the Road on Aquarius Tour
R&B sensation Tinashe is bringing her act to a venue near you. The ’2 On’ singer is embarking on her Aquarius Tour next month.
The nine-city trek will launch on Dec. 5 at Power 106′s Cali Christmas in Los Angeles. The jaunt will hit cities in Toronto, New York, Boston and Washington, D.C., before wrapping up in Orlando, Fla., on Dec. 19. She will then take her tour overseas in February for dates in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Tinashe is hitting the road in support of her critically-acclaimed debut album, ‘Aquarius.’
Meanwhile, Tinashe can be heard next on the Calvin Harris-produced track, ‘Dollar Signs‘ from his album, ‘Motion.’
“I love hearing my voice on an EDM track,” Tinashe told Fuse TV about the song. “It gives me an excuse to definitely expand my fanbase, it gives me an excuse to have different types of songs that I can integrate into my live show. I want to be a diverse artist — since I haven’t really put EDM in my projects, it’s cool to be a part of that without it being my song.”

D'Angelo Announces The Second Coming Tour Dates
D’Angelo promised us that he’d be releasing a new album to follow up 2000′s ‘Voodoo.’ And while we’re still waiting for this one, the neo-soul crooner has announced that he will be hitting the road in 2015.
Kicking off on Feb. 11, he’ll be taking his show to Europe and will bring him to 13 cities. Unfortunately, U.S. fans will have to wait a little longer as he is currently focusing on his energies in that area.
D’Angelo won’t be going alone. The singer will be leading a new generation of the Vanguard, a collective of musicians he mentioned at a Red Bull Music Academy talk in the spring. Members include bassist Pino Palladino, guitarists Jesse Johnson and Isaiah Sharkey, keyboardist Cleo ‘Pookie’ Sample and drummer John Blackwell.
“Despite the increasing popularity of sequencers, auto-tune, backing tracks, and lip synching, D’Angelo and his band The Vanguard perform every note live,” a press release stated.
While fans might be surprised by his new physique, we’re sure that D’Angelo will be putting a great set. Check out the dates below to find out what European cities D’Angelo will be visiting.

Watch Tyler the Creator's 'Wolf' Documentary [VIDEO]
At Odd Future‘s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival last weekend, Tyler, the Creator was selling his documentary, which chronicles the makings of his 2013 studio album, ‘Wolf.’ Although only 100 copies were made, thanks to the Internet, you can watch it free online.
The 30-minute film puts the viewers in the studio as we watch Tyler meticulously creating the songs for ‘Wolf’ and making sure it’s dope. Unlike the atypical documentary, there’s no sit-down interviews or any startling revelations, just the Odd Future crew having madcap fun and making music.
There’s scenes of Tyler working on the album in his home studio, Odd Future members skateboarding and the entire gang interacting with their dedicated fans. There’s also guest appearances from Earl Sweatshirt, Pharrell Williams and even OutKast. Overall, this is an entertaining look at Tyler and his motley crew of rappers.

Lecrae Explains How He Stays 'Lyrically Fit' [EXCLUSIVE VIDEO]
When it comes to lyrical fitness, Lecrae spends his time working out with two rappers who challenge him: Propaganda and Swoope.

Ne-Yo's Voice Causes Woman to Have Seizures [VIDEO]
File this under Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Ne-Yo is known for making the ladies scream with delight whenever he performs, but for one woman, the crooner’s soulful voice brings her great pain.
Healthcare assistant Zoe Fennessy gets epileptic seizures every time she hears Ne-Yo’s voice. The 26-year-old mother had her first seizure back in 2006. Then in 2008, doctors diagnosed her with epilepsy. But it wasn’t until 2011, when she heard Ne-Yo’s voice on Pitbull’s club anthem ‘Give Me Everything’ that she realized that she had a music-induced seizure.
“Whenever I hear the first few beats of the song, I have to drop whatever I am doing and run,” Fennessey told the U.K.’s Daily Mail. “I don’t dislike Ne-Yo or his music. It just dislikes me, unfortunately.”
Doctors have clinically diagnosed her with musicogenic seizures, which are triggered by the tone of Ne-Yo’s voice.
The woman’s 15-second seizures, which happen in her right temporal lobe, leave her “staring blankly” and after they dissipate she will throw up, become thirsty and feel extremely fatigued.
Fennessey had surgery back in June. Part of her brain’s temporal lobe was removed, where doctors thought the seizures could be coming from, and while it helped a bit, she still has to avoid Ne-Yo’s music at all costs.
“People might think it is funny, and I can laugh at it myself,” she said. “But it has taken over my life. It’s ruined my life.”
We hope she stays healthy and figures out a way to overcome her medical condition. Otherwise, she may have to wear ear plugs for the rest of her life.
