Ex-WWE Star Matt Hardy Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Wife (@matthardybrand)

Matt Hardy and his wife, Reby Sky, were both arrested and charged with assault and battery after police were called to a Hampton Inn where they were staying.

In the mugshots taken after the arrest, both Hardy and Sky have visible cuts, bruises, scratches. Sky, real name Rebecca Hardy, appears to have a fat lip and black eye as well.

TMZ Sports reports that police responded to a 911 call at the Hampton Inn in Emporia, Va., around 5:45 a.m. on New Year's Day.

During the call, a hotel employee can be heard saying, “A guest just came down here and said somebody’s beating the hell out of his wife a girl or something.”

Police arrived and placed both husband and wife under arrest. They were later released on $3,500 bail.

The couple got restraining orders against each other after the altercation, reports TMZ.

Anyone who's flown knows the TSA and its procedures are a huge pain in the butt, but they actually keep a lot of potentially dangerous items from making it onto a plane.

Of course, a lot of the stuff found by the security administration was never intended to be used in any harmful manner, but is taken anyway because of its unknown or unusual nature.

Man Drops $100,000 on Surgery to Look Like Justin Bieber

A 33-year-old man has undergone around 100 plastic surgeries at a cost of $100,000 in a quest to look like his idol, Justin Bieber.

Toby, who was the subject of Wednesday night's "My Strange Addiction" season finale, says he got the idea when he was 28 and became distraught when he noticed his face was aging.

Now he travels around his hometown of Los Angeles asking folks if he reminds them of anyone. While a few name Bieber, most agree that Toby doesn't really resemble the Canadian pop star.

"To make me stop getting surgeries, I would basically have to die," Toby admits.

Young Thug Working With Kanye; Offered $1.5M for Record Deal (@YoungThugWorld @kanyewest)

Atlanta rapper Young Thug is blowing up. If you've been to the club or listened to urban radio recently you'd know his massive street song "Danny Glover" has taken off like a rocket. Thug's 2013 breakout mixtape "1017 Thug" on Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad record label received rave critical acclaim and appeared on many top ten lists. In addition, "Danny Glover" has been cosigned by major mainstream artists like Drake and Kanye West. But the Kanye cosign isn't merely for "Danny Glover" as Young Thug told Complex in an interview, he's also currently working with the Chicago rapper/producer.



"I mean, I went to his house and we did a couple of songs," Young Thug said during an interview with Complex. "The fact that I was [making songs] so fast amazed him too, because he doesn't see a lot of people who rap like that. I don't really rap with a lot of people [because] everyone raps the same way. When I first heard he wanted to know who I was and do songs, I was smiling ear to ear like a clown."



And though Young Thug is working with Kanye West, Thug revealed he's "a big fan of everything that" Kanye has done as an artist. But despite admiring Kanye, he still supports Lil Wayne, and hopes to work with him above anyone else.



"Yeah. Because he has 10-15 years in the game on top and the fact that he knows he can lean back and retire and he still doesn't," he said. "I hope Wayne is listening, I want to get in the studio with Wayne more than anybody in the world. I'll get in the studio with Wayne before Michael Jackson right now so I hope he listening."



As mentioned, Young Thug is signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad label but Thug is also rumored to be getting love from other labels. It has been rumored Future's Freebandz imprint is interested in the 21-year-old. "It's not happening yet, I don't know if it's gonna happen," Thug said. "Future said he wants to give me $1.5 million so you know how that goes. It just hasn't happened yet."

Check Out the Sexy Pro Bowl Streaker Who Did It for Family

Fitness model Katrina Torres had the crowd going wild after she ran onto the field late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Pro Bowl game. It turns out the 23-year-old resident of Kahaluu, Hawaii, did it for a good cause -- her disabled cousin who couldn't attend the game.

Torres told local affiliate KHON2 News that her bold act was done in tribute to her cousin Gary, who was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident two years ago. She explained that his dream was to go to the Pro Bowl, but the trip from his home in New Mexico would have been too difficult.

She said Gary was watching the game back home and loved it.

"He can't talk but he was just smiling a lot and just like, fist pumping," she said. "As soon as he saw me jump his face just lit up and he was fist pumping and stuff. That just made it so worth it for me."

Torres said she escaped arrest after none other than Deion Sanders came to her rescue.

Slaughterhouse Launch Battle Rap TV series

The battle rap scene is a growing movement that has produced some skillful MCs like Loaded Lux and Math Hoffa. Now Slaughterhouse has jumped into the fray to launch a battle rap show in conjunction with Shady TV.

Rappers Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9, Crooked I and Joe Budden visited ‘RapFix Live‘ on Wednesday (Jan. 29) to explain their upcoming realty competition show, ‘The Road to Total Slaughter.’

The show features eight battle rappers who will live together in the same house for a week as they prepare to battle each other until there’s only one left standing. Slaughterhouse will judge and produce the show.

“The winner of each side will co-headline the main event, [with] two legends in the battle game,” said Royce. “It’s probably the biggest battle you can put on right now, on behalf of Shady Records, Shady TV and Slaughterhouse.”

The eight rappers competing in the show will be Daylyt, Arsonal, Cortez, Dizaster, Math Hoffa, Marv Won, Aye Verb and Big T.

“Battle rap is the talk in every street and every barber shop,” said Budden about the show’s concept. “People are really engulfed and seem to be in tune with what these young brothers have to say in the lyrics they’re putting out there.”

“It’s giving these guys a platform that they didn’t have before,” adds Royce. “Everybody knows they’re great if you follow them, so the goal is to put not only them, but battle rap itself, on this platform.”

The ‘Road to Total Slaughter’ will officially premiere in the spring on WatchLoud.com.

Is Diddy Shutting Down Bad Boy Records?

Is Diddy shutting down Bad Boy Records? Although the hip-hop cash king recently celebrated the label’s 20th anniversary, it appears that the company is under a cloud of uncertainty.

After swirling rumors about employees being fired or transferred to other companies like his newly launched Revolt TV, a rep told XXLMag.com that “Bad Boy shutting down is nothing more than rumors” and “isn’t true.”

So far, Diddy has yet to respond to the rumors.

Meanwhile, Diddy officially launched ‘Revolt Live’ on Monday (Jan. 27) at the channel’s new studio in Los Angeles. Described as a Sportscenter for music news, the program will air live twice daily — at 5PM and 8PM ET — with news and events happening around the world.

In addition, Revolt TV will be celebrating Super Bowl XLVIII this weekend in New York with a special pre-game concert featuring Drake at Time Warner Cable studios on Saturday (Feb. 1).

Lil Boosie to Be Released From Prison in February (@boosieofficial)

Great news for all the #FreeBoosie activists out there -- the Baton Rouge rapper will be a free man on February 13, 2014, reports Hot 97's Ebro.

In December it was reported that Lil Boosie will get out of prison in August 2014, but his brother and manager Taquari Hatch said that he could actually be released as early as February as long as he completed two classes while inside.

Boosie's been locked up since 2009 for a weed possession charge and probation violation. He added to his legal woes by attempting to smuggle drugs into prison in 2011.

Beastie Boys Square Rejected By New York City Community Board

Beastie Boys Square may never see the light of day in New York City. A chance to name the intersection featured on the Beastie Boys‘ 1989 album cover, ‘Paul’s Boutique,’ has been put to an end — for now– after the proposal was rejected on Tuesday (Jan. 28).

As The Boombox previously reported, Brooklyn, N.Y., resident LeRoy McCarthy started a petition to rename the intersection at Ludlow and Rivington Streets in Manhattan’s Lower East Side Beastie Boys Square. After the first meeting with Community Board 3, the proposal was rejected but was given a second chance if McCarthy could get the support and signatures of the surrounding residents and businesses around the proposed intersection by February.

However, after presenting the updated set of signatures to the board (signatures are well over 1,500,) a unanimous vote denied the proposal. In addition, McCarthy cannot reapply or submit the proposal again for the next five years, DNAinfo reports.

Unlike the previous meeting, McCarthy did not attend the voting because he withdrew his application — he didn’t realize it would even go to a vote. He reportedly even received an email telling him the proposal would be on the agenda for February’s meeting. However, it seems that the Community Board 3 had other plans.

“I was blindsided,” McCarthy said. “Once again I was blindsided and not given the opportunity to present the full material they [CB3] requested. They did not give me a chance to be heard at the committee, which was the arrangement that had been made.”

Since the Jan. 14 meeting, McCarthy has since collected 200 more signatures in support for the naming of the intersection. It is unknown if any of those signatures were from the surrounding residents or business located at that intersection.

Despite additional signatures McCarthy collected, some members of Community Board 3 felt strongly that the proposal didn’t meet the requirements. And as far as the application withdrawal, which McCarthy was told to do at the last meeting, the board saw that more as a proposal in “pending” not withdrawn.

There is no word yet on what McCarthy’s next plan of action is, but for now, it looks like the homage to ‘Paul’s Boutique’ won’t be happening anytime soon.

Bad Boy Records just hit its 20-year milestone, and rumors have been swirling that label founder Diddy was planning on shutting it down and moving all operations over to REVOLT TV. However, a rep for Bad Boy says it's nonsense.

“Bad Boy shutting down is nothing more than rumors," the rep confirmed to XXL.

Bad Boy launched the careers of acts including the Notorious B.I.G., Lil Kim, and Ma$e, among others.

Nearly 500 men answered the call to have sex with Heidi Van Horny for big day, although the woman is expressing some reservations about going through with it.

Van Horny has only been in the business a month.

The marathon orgy will be broadcast from a Montreal swingers' club, according to Facebook postings from XXX AD4 Production. The Facebook page invites men to take part while wearing masks during the broadcast.

However, Van Horny seemed a little concerned in an interview with QMI agency.

"Yes, I still want to do it...yes and no," she said. "I still want to impose my conditions."

She wants assurances the men aren't carrying any sexually transmitted diseases.

Producer Andre Delaseine says whatever goes down will ultimately be Heidi's decision.

"This is not a gang bang that we're doing, it's Heidi who will make the choice," he said.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.

Lil Boosie to Be Released From Prison

Rapper Lil Boosie is coming home sooner than expected. Originally set for release from prison in August, the New Orleans native will now be freed next month.

According to NOLA.com, Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch, will return home by Feb. 16 thanks in part to him participating in various programs while he was locked up.

Boosie was incarcerated for violating his probation after being arrested on marijuana possession charges in 2009. He then had his sentence extended after he pleaded guilty for smuggling contraband into the prison.

Once Boosie is released from prison, he will be on supervised probation until June 17, 2018. The 31-year-old rapper will have plenty of things to keep him busy once he’s out. “He has plans to go straight to the studio to begin working on an album as well as his tour in late spring, early summer,” said his brother, Taquari Hatch, to NOLA.com.

Hatch wouldn’t address the rumor that Boosie will sign with Rick Ross’ label, Maybach Music Group, when he’s released. But he did confirm that the rapper will create a foundation to help children of victims of homicides.

We haven't heard much from Kanye West as of late. After all the Chicago rapper did promise to keep quiet for six months into 2014. But according to a report by RadarOnline, Kanye is 'fuming' with the fashion queen Anna Wintour after she chose Lena Dunham over Kim Kardashian for the latest cover of Vogue magazine.



A source reportedly told the website that Kanye West confronted the Anna Wintour at an event demanding to know why Kim was not chosen. Apparently, Kanye marched up to Anna and said Kim is 'just as talented as Lena, if not more so' the source said.



The source added "Kanye thinks that Kim has a much bigger fan base and appeal than Lena." "To Kanye, it's insulting that his friend Anna is still refusing to even consider putting Kim on the cover of Vogue," the sourced confessed.

No Love: The Internet Calls for Macklemore to Retire From Music (@macklemore)

The Macklemore backlash is strong. The Seattle rapper has received a considerable amount of tongue-lashing especially in recent weeks. In VladTV exclusives, Lord Jamar has stated his disapproval of Macklemore, who he believes is pushing a "gay agenda" and social media is in particular critical of the "Thrift Shop" emcee. Twitter went at Macklemore for winning "Best Hip-Hop Album" at the AMA, then they disagreed with his Grammy wins, and now they're calling for the rapper to retire from music.



Twitter users were very vocal about Macklemore sweeping the Grammy rap category and specifically over the favored Kendrick Lamar. Users on Twitter feel Macklemore should step down and allow room for other rappers to get a shine. One user wrote "Hope Macklemore retire from rap and start teaching yoga like Max B lawyer." While another user wrote "the hole u dug urself in is as big as ur mouth. it's time to retire @macklemore".

White House Now Must Respond to Bieber Deportation Petition (@justinbieber)

The petition pushing for the deportation of Canadian native Justin Bieber has gathered more than 100,000 signatures, meaning the White House, per its own policy, is required to respond.

The petition reads as follows:

"We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive and drug-abusing Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people, but he is also a terrible influence on our nation's youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society."

While a response will come eventually, it could be weeks or even months before petitioners hear back from Washington about the fate of Justin Bieber.
