LL Cool J Hits the Streets in 'The Hustler' Video Featuring Mavado
LL Cool J has been extremely successful in making songs for female rap fans, but with his latest album, ‘G.O.A.T 2′ he’s appealing to the guys.
In his new video for the song ‘The Hustler,’ featuring Mavado, the legendary lyricist details the street life as a bevy of lovely ladies, dudes with motorcycles and his Queens, N.Y. neighborhood are all shown in the background. You’ll also see a bunch of Jamaican flags being waived as Mavado brings a heavy Caribbean vibe to the visual.
LL also doesn’t look anywhere near his age in the clip. The 46-year-old, sporting a dope red jean jacket, a slick black top and a couple of gold links, could easily pass for a rapper half his age.
And lyrically, the rapper-turned-actor hasn’t lost a step since releasing his last album, ‘Authentic,’ in 2013. “These choices led to Rolls Royces / The 88 gates talking with different voices,” he spits.
‘The .G.O.A.T. 2,’ his 14th album, is slated to be released later this year.
Watch Channing Tatum Rap About 'The Dick Graze' [VIDEO]
From high fives and handshakes to the occasional hug, there are many ways to greet your friends. However, actor Channing Tatum is taking things a (weird) step further by introducing “the dick graze.”
Tatum spits over a staccato drum beat with bubbly synth sound effects — we think it was likely produced by Diplo since he makes a cameo in the visual — and details the latest “handshake between gentlemen.” Basically the graze occurs when one guy brushes his hand across another guy’s crotch area.
“Give a pound or a shake / But that’s played out / So you get a little close / And let that dick graze,” he raps on the first verse.
As awkward as this gets, Jillian Bell, Tatum’s co-star in the new film ’22 Jump Street,’ enters the equation with the female equivalent: “the tit graze.”
So as the video progresses, all you see is Tatum and Bell groping men and women’s private parts. The clip commences when Bell grabs Tatum nether regions a bit too hard.
Check out ‘The Dick Graze’ above and be prepared (or worried) for this one to catch on.
FKA twigs Covers Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me,' Performs 'Two Weeks' on BBC Radio 1 [VIDEO]
During a promo run for her debut album, ‘LP1,’ FKA twigs stopped by BBC Radio 1′s ‘Live Lounge’ last week to perform her new song ‘Two Weeks’ and a cover of Sam Smith‘s smash hit ‘Stay With Me.’
Dressed in all black, the 26-year-old old British songstress steps into a blue-lit room to share her emotional and fluid performance style. During ‘Two Weeks,’ she puts all of her energy into the lyrics though she looks quite relaxed while singing the ballad. Being the dancer that she is, twigs shows off some of onstage moves — just a more subtle here.
As part of the ‘Live Lounge’ tradition, each artist has to pick a song to cover, and twigs takes on the equally emotional ‘Stay With Me’ by fellow Brit Sam Smith. Of course, the ‘Pendulum’ couldn’t go for the straightforward singing approach.
Layered with atmospheric, trippy sounds, her vocals sounds a bit fuller than her breathy tone on ‘Two Weeks.’ Her rendition of ‘Stay With Me’ is more sultry than sad and flirtatious rather than heartwrenching — definitely a different twist to the power ballad.

Alicia Keys Returns With 'We Are Here' Video
A day after she released the teaser for her new track, ‘We Are Here,’ Alicia Keys debuts the full video for the anthem today (Sept. 8).
The songstress is in her element in the visual, singing at her piano on a rooftop overlooking her hometown of New York City. However, it’s clear that the scene surrounding Keys isn’t the focus of ‘We Are Here’ — the lyrics are.
“Bombs over Baghdad / Trying to get something that we never had / Let’s start with a good dad / So real but it’s so sad / And while we burning this incense / We’ll be praying for the innocent / And right now it don’t make sense,” she sings on the first verse.
Alicia not only details the world’s problems on a general level but also points out a few places currently in turmoil. “Let’s talk about Chi-town / Let’s talk about Gaza / Let’s talk about, let’s talk about / Let’s talk about Israel / ‘Cause right now it is real / Let’s talk about / Let’s talk about Nigeria / And it’s mass hysteria,” she delivers on the pre-chorus.
‘We Are Here’ was written when the singer started to think introspectively about the purpose everyone has in the world. She was inspired to write down a song about her thoughts. “As I prepare to give birth to a new child, I can’t help and think about the world I’m bringing my baby into,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “No matter where we come from, when we see the state of the world today, we can all feel the growing frustration and desire to make a difference. And we all have a voice – we just need to know how to make it heard.”

Rich Homie Quan Fights Man for Trying to Steal His Chain [VIDEO]
Those attending the Adrien Broner vs. Emmanuel Taylor fight in Cincinnati Friday (Sept.5) were treated to two bouts: one with the boxers themselves and the other between Rich Homie Quan and a man who allegedly tried to steal the rapper’s chain.
According to TMZ, the ‘Type of Way’ rhymer was watching the fight when a man attempted to snatch his chain from around his neck. That’s when Quan started throwing haymakers at the guy, which was followed by other people in his entourage doing the same.
A video filmed by someone in the crowd doesn’t show the necklace being snatched, however, it does capture the melee already in full swing. The fight appears to be less than 30 seconds. So far there’s been no word from Quan or his camp about the incident.
In more positive news, the Atlanta native recently launched his Rich Homie clothing line, a collaborative effort with Jeezy’s 8732 brand.
“The clothing line represents who I am as a person,” Quan says of the line. “That’s why you see all these different colors — they’re all different forms of my expression. I expressed myself through music and now I’m doing that through clothing and it looks pretty damn good to me.”
MC Serch's Expansive Sneaker Collection Is for Sale
MC Serch is known for his legendary rap history with 3rd Bass but he’s also a sneakerhead. During his years touring and recording, the rapper was always laced with the latest kicks. Now he’s selling his prized sneaker collection, which consists of deadstock pieces dating back to the ’80s.
The entertainer revealed his 300-pair collection to Complex and it’s expansive. Serch said that he started collecting kicks in high school.
“I first started collecting in 1980, that’s when I first started copping two pairs of Puma Clydes,” he recalled. “I was working for this store called Morton’s Army/Navy. They had the illest sneaker collection. I’d cop two pairs because I wanted one for work and one for being fly and standing out.”
Serch’s collection includes recent sneaker releases but the bulk are deadstock kicks from the ’80s and ’90s.
“95 percent of my collection is all originals, so they go back to ’82, ’85, ’90-’94. A lot of them are around 20 years old,” Serch said.
So if you wear a size 12.5 or 13, you can have Serch’s collection for $75,000, which breaks down to $250 per sneaker. However, Serch is looking for serious collectors to buy his treasure trove of shoes.
“I don’t want to sell them for the price I’m going to sell them for and find out someone is going to flip and sell them,” he said. “I would probably buy them back. I want someone to buy it and see a period of sneaker culture from 1989 to the present and see how it’s evolved aesthetically.”
If you’re interested in buying Serch’s prized sneaker collection, email him at sneakers@mcserch.com with questions and to obtain more information.

Lloyd Banks Gets Into Shoving Match With Security Guard [VIDEO]
Apparently, Lloyd Banks doesn’t need security when he wants to interact with his fans.
In footage captured at a recent show in Budapest, Hungary, the G-Unit rapper has a confrontation with one of the venue’s security guards.
Banks hops off stage to get up close and personal with his fans. While climbing on a metal barrier, security appears to pull him back down, which causes ‘The Hunger For More’ creator to shove the man away from him. Banks continues to lunge at the guard but is stopped from doing so when another man comes in between them.
“Check this out, get the f— out of here. I don’t need security,” the New York rhymer he barks into the microphone. “Get the f— away from the stage.”
This made the audience go wild. Banks then climbed back onstage and continued his performance with his 2010 hit ‘Beamer, Benz or Bentley.’

Nike KD7 'Easy Money'
We all knew Nike wasn’t going to let Under Armuor snag up Kevin Durant, after all his nickname is ‘Easy Money’ and that isn’t just another nickname. The man has one of the hottest sneakers in the game so of course the Beaverton bullies weren’t going to let a bidding war scare them away.
Speaking of easy money the similarly nicknamed Nike KD7 colorway is finally set to come to shelves and it is certain to drain quite a few pockets upon release. With a Mystic Green foam ankle and Light Brown mesh toe they are themed after those big faced Benjamin’s that we see on payday and they do a great job conveying that feel.
Whether you are spending your own hard-earned cash or easy money on em, these are scheduled for a Sept. 9 release.
