Magic Johnson Says Clippers Refuse To Play For Sterling's Wife (@MagicJohnson)

After Donald Sterling's wife, Shelly Sterling announced that she would keep her share as an owner of the Clippers, Magic Johnson has stated that the team will more than likely refuse to play.

According to USA Today, Magic Johnson says that the team doesn't want to play for anyone named Sterling. Although Shelly wasn't heard in the audio that backfired on her husband, she is known for being prejudice against people of color.

"Those guys are not going to play for anybody (named) Sterling," Johnson said."It's just how it is. It's hard to separate the two. ... It's going to be hard for them to sell that to the fans and definitely to the players."

When asked if he was ready to buy the Clippers, the NBA great stated that a lot of time will have to into the decision.

"First of all, we have to all remember that that is a long way away," Johnson said. "The board of governors first has to vote him out. Donald Sterling is going to fight it. You know that. It is going to be a long time.

"I have other things to do before I just say my level of interest. The team has to be up for sale. And I think that is going to be eight months to a year. Once it's official, that it's really up for sale, we'll take a look at it."

Last week, Shelly Sterling told reporters that she wants to keep her 50% share in the company, but doesn't want to run the team. Johnson says that her past as a landlord with her husband proves that she can be just as toxic as Sterling. Shelly and Donald were accused of creating terrible environments for African Americans and Latinos.

"When they accused them of (being) slumlord, that was both, it wasn't one person," Johnson said. "It was both of them. ... They will never recover from this. All the sponsors pulling out, they will pull out for good if she owns it. It's not going to be the same."

T.D.E Responds To Fake Kendrick Lamar Album Title (@kendricklamar)

As fans wait patiently for Kendrick Lamar to release his follow up to his memorable debut, Good Kid, M.a.a.d City a flyer made its rounds on the web along with the album title, United States Of A.L.A.R.M.

The flyer shows an up close photo of the rapper and a September 2014 release time.

The photo along with the album title was declared fake by Top Dawg's Ret One this afternoon. The management head of the company tweeted to fans that the news was fake and all announcements of new Kendrick Lamar and T.D.E music will be made by the label first.

"whats up with these fake a** news stories," he tweeted. "Unless you see @dangerookipawaa talk about it, s*** aint real. #TopDawg #TDE"

He also included that any news from Interscope should be second guessed.

"That goes for Interscope, news, blogs, etc...if u aint see it come directly from us #TDE dont believe em..." he tweeted.

Big Boi Signs Record Deal With Epic Records

After two moderately successful albums on Island Def Jam, Big Boi has left the label and found a new home with Epic Records.

The OutKast member revealed to the Huffington Post that he has inked a deal with Epic Records for his next solo project.

“I just signed a deal with Epic Records,” he said. “So I’m back with L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone. Got a brand new situation.”

It seems like a good fit for the Atlanta rapper. Big Boi has a long history with L.A. Reid.

It began in 1992, when the music mogul signed OutKast to his LaFace Records imprint. Then in 2010, when Reid was the CEO of Island Def Jam, Boi signed a solo deal and released ‘Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty’ in 2010 and ‘Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors’ in 2012.

And now Big Boi starts a new musical chapter with Reid at Epic Records.

“That’s my mentor,” he said. “He understands my music. And one thing about L.A. Reid, there are no creative restraints. He trusts my ear and let’s me make the music I want to make. We love being in business together. That’s my big brother.”

No word on release date has been set for the rapper’s third solo project. “The album I’m not gonna rush,” he said. “I wanted to put something out before the end of the year.”

In the meantime, Big Boi is busy touring with fellow ‘Kast member Andre 3000 on their reunion trek. The dynamic duo is embarking on a 40-city jaunt of musical festivals this summer.

Young Thug Gets Blazed With Birdman In 'Stoner' Video

Despite being trapped in one of the stickiest label situations you’ll ever see, rapper Young Thug has managed to keep his buzz alive thanks to his street smash, ‘Stoner,’ which cracked the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. With 4/20 still fresh in the mind (or maybe not), the Atlanta native debuts his long-awaited video for ‘Stoner.’

Directed by Be El Be, the visual finds Thugga getting smoked out with YMCMB honcho and his recently-appointed manager Birdman before hitting the streets with his homies. The video also features cameos from Young Scooter, DJ Drama and former D4L member Fabo, who serves as the inspiration for Young Thug’s infectious hook.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Wedding Invitation Revealed [PHOTO]

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have successfully kept details of their upcoming wedding a secret until now. It appears that the couple’s wedding invitation was leaked online.

US Weekly posted the purported invitation to what is surely the most anticipated wedding of the year. The rather plain invite features gold-embossed lettering on a neutral background listing info for Kimmy and Yeezy’s nuptials and rehearsal dinner.

As you may have known already, the wedding will take place on May 24 in Paris, France, while the dinner will take place the day before.

As we previously reported, Kanye and Kim were scouting for locations in Paris last month. They visited a beautiful 17th century Chateau that boasted various fountain sculptures, greenery and other amenities.

A source said the wedding will be intimate with about 150 people on the guest list.

“I’m just really excited for this year,” said the bride-to-be. “So many exciting things are happening in my life, and I feel so much good energy. It’s just going to be the best!”

The only thing we want to know is…where’s our invitation? Oh well, congrats to the soon-to-be married couple.

Kid Cudi Producing Short Film for 'Balmain Jeans'

Kid Cudi has been juggling music with a budding acting career these last few years, starring in the HBO series ‘How to Make It in America’ before making his movie debut in ‘Need For Speed’ back in March. Now the Lonely Stoner is getting behind the camera for a new short film in support of his ‘Satellite Flight‘ album cut, ‘Balmain Jeans.’

On Friday (May 9), Cudi revealed on Twitter that he’s writing and directing the short film, which he describes as “a story about a spontaneous electric connection between two strangers.” That certainly seems to tie in with the track’s romantic theme, in which Cudder softly croons about “finding someone who electrifies my body.”

The film will serve as Cudi’s directorial debut. Although he’s yet to have the privilege of working under an established director, the Cleveland native is never one to shy away from a challenge. A release date or cast have yet to be announced, but stay tuned for more details.

Diddy Receives Honorary Doctorate at Howard University: Hip-Hop Community Reacts on Twitter

Diddy has a new name — you can call him Dr. Combs. The rap mogul received an honorary doctorate degree in humanities from Howard University during a commencement service on Saturday (May 10).

Dr. Combs also gave a rousing speech to the 2014 graduating class who were in attendance. According to eyewitnesses, Mary J.Blige, Jermaine Dupri and other celebs were in the audience as well.

“There is no homecoming, like a Howard homecoming; and it feels so good to be home,” he said during his speech, where he received a standing ovation. “Only this family could take one of its sons, that has already had three name changes, and give him a fourth: Dr. Combs.”

“The two years I spent at Howard were the best two years of my life. Once a Bison, you’re a Bison for life. HU!” he continued.

Dr. Combs also encourage the Class 2014 to pursue their dreams because the world is theirs for the taking.

“Do you know how powerful you are? You will change the world,” he said. “Take the craziest dream you have and make it a reality. I don’t want you to just dream, I want you to do.”

Then Dr. Combs offered three tips for success. He said:

Jeezy Announces New Album Title [VIDEO]

A day after dropping ‘Me OK,’ it looks like Jeezy is ready to drop a new project to acknowledge his ten-year longevity in the rap game.

The ‘Soul Survivor’ rapper announced that his fifth studio album will be called ‘Seen It All.’ The album marks the follow-up to his 2011 effort, ‘TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition.’

“I gave you ‘Thug Motivation 101,’ I gave you ‘The Inspiration,’ ‘The Recession,’ I gave you ['TM: 103'], and I feel like through all that, I’ve been through a lot and I feel like I seen it all,” Jeezy explained to REVOLT TV. “That’s why I named my new album ‘Seen It All.’”

“To be 10 years in the game and still be standing here in these motherfuckin’ Versaces and still be a solid A1, no dirt on your jersey and still doing what you do, you gotta see a lot, you gotta have a lot of wisdom in your head,” he continues. “Anybody like Birdman or Jay Z or Puff Daddy can attest to that. It takes a lot to be strong in this game and still be here and still do your thing and that’s why I feel like I’m a young OG. I seen it all.”

Jeezy didnt give a release date on the album. Hopefully, Def Jam will ignore the lyrical shots he threw at them on ‘Me OK’ and promote the project.

Adrien Broner Addresses Racial Remarks After WBC Suspension (@AdrienBroner)

Adrien Broner has addressed his racial comments after his WBC suspension.

The boxer posted a video to YouTube and addressed the debacle and sent out a formal apology to competitor Carlos Molina and his Hispanic fans.

"I'm getting a lot of negative feedback after the comment I said about my fight," he said. "I didn't disrespect any Mexicans. I just called a Mexican a Mexican. I just wanna say that I love all my Mexican fans. I sign autographs, I take pictures no matter what nationality you are but I just have to get that out there. I hope I didn't offend anybody. Shout out to Carlos Molina, he put up one hell of fight."

He also addressed that he will training after his big party in Cincinnati, Ohio.

On Thursday, the welterweight champ was suspended by the World Boxing Council over his racial remarks during his post fight interview.

"I've beaten up Africans and I just beat the f*** out of a Mexican." he said.

Golden Boy Productions CEO Richard Schaefer quickly apologized for the fighter, saying that Broner was caught up in the moment. He also mentioned that he would try to get boxing veteran Bernard Hopkins to give him some insight on how to handle his behavior.

"Sometimes (Broner) says stuff without really thinking, because as I came out into the ring the first thing he said to be was 'I'm so sorry that I said what I said,'" Schaefer said."He's a young guy and I'm going to keep trying to explain to him, and maybe sometimes Bernard (Hopkins) who has the experience would certainly be a great coach in that regard."

Actor Victor Rasuk sat down with VladTV to discuss his new film, Godzilla, which hits theatres May 16th.

Rasuk feels like this Godzilla is the best of over 30 remakes, because it comes closest to the legendary 1954 original film, and while other versions made the historic beast look like some kind of big lizard, this version is really a monster that causes serious chills.

When asked about initial feedback, Rasuk shared that hardcore Godzilla fans were invited to the initial previews and seemed ecstatic about the film. He also revealed that most of the film was shot using green screen and that it was his first time having a director yell directions at him while pretending to be attacked.

Katt William's next stand up special will be directed by the legendary director Spike Lee.

According to The Smoking Session, the funny man will return to HBO with his second stand up special directed by Lee.

The special will be shot at Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, Canada May 17.

His first stand up special, The Pimp Chronicles, Pt. 1, was filmed back in 2006. The comedian saw mainstream success soon after with movies like The Perfect Holiday, American Hustle: The Movie and Scary Movie 5.
