In her first interview since rumored beau Justin Bieber's DUI arrest, model Chantel Jeffreies sat down with E!'s Terrance J to tell her side of the story.
Jefferies says that reports of Bieber on drugs are completely false and dodged questions on their relationship. When asked if the two have ever kissed, she says, "We're friends, do you kiss your friends? Do you sleep in the same bed as your friends?"
The model who is signed to Wilhelmina Models also addressed the allegations that she's allegedly dating Bieber for his money. "If anything you can say I'm a goal-digger," she said."I have my own goals and I focus on those, I'm a strong independent woman."
During a Tuesday press conference to announce the building of two new manufacturing institutes in Detroit and Chicago, President Obama decided to have a little fun with the reporters when he revealed that the government was building a real-life Iron Man.
"Basically, I'm here to announce that we're building Iron Man. I'm going to blast off in a second," he said to laughter. "This has been a secret project we've been working on for a long time. Not really. Maybe. It's classified."
Pharrell‘s ‘G I R L’ album arrives March 3, but the ‘Happy’ singer’s project is sparking some controversy before its official release.
The cover art for the effort features the producer-rapper surrounded by three models, all of fair skin. Due to the absence of African-American women in the image, the album cover has been deemed racist by many who wonder why none of the women are black.
The debate heated up on Twitter today (Feb. 26), as journalists and fans argued both sides.
“I’m sure Pharrell’s album is great, he’s been making the best music of his life. Cover was disappointing. Google Chokwe Lumumba,” said veteran writer Dream Hampton, who believes the ‘G I R L’ cover is problematic.
“Well… I can only speak for me. Here’s what I want: For Black women of all hues to be represented proportionately in popular culture,” echoed Twitter user Corporate Barbie.
Others weren’t so sure that the artwork was intended to be racist.
“Why people trippin bout Pharrell album cover? I dnt see why they saying it’s racist,” asked Kenny Power.
Sailor Neptune argued that Pharrell couldn’t be racist since he’s black himself. “As a member of the minority group, Pharrell choosing to exclude black females from his album cover cannot, by definition, be a racist act,” she wrote.
Some even pointed to Pharrell’s black wife, Helen, as proof that he isn’t racist. “Ohhhh no @Pharrell has no black girls on his album cover… But has a black wife…. so move on,” wrote one opinionated Twitter user.

Robin Thicke has been mum since the news of his separation from Paula Patton made headlines early this week. However, the ‘Blurred Lines’ singer is finally breaking his silence on the matter.
“I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days,” Thicke wrote on his website. “My fans mean everything to me. I’m looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington D.C., this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!”
By “well wishes,” it’s assumed that friends and fans have sent their condolences regarding him and Patton parting ways.
The crooner has already cancelled three shows since he and Patton released a joint statement revealing their split — however, they did refer to each other as “best friends.” While Thicke claims the concert cancellations were due to throat problems, other sources say he did so because he flew to Vancouver — where Patton was filming a movie — to sort things out with her. After a long face-to-face conversation, his wife still wanted to move forward with the separation. Thicke then flew to Orlando to be with the couple’s 3-year-old son, Julian Fuego.

A McLaren MP4-12C that was gifted to Dwyane Wade for his 30th birthday can now be snatched up by someone with serious cash to burn. The supercar, which was a present to the Heat baller from The Collection, has been listed at a cool $799,000.
The msrp for a standard MP4-12C, which boasts a whopping 616 HP, is $239,400. The car once owned by Wade, however, features so many upgrades and one-of-a-kind touches that it's valued at over three times that amount.
The Collection issued a statement to make clear that it's not actually Wade who is selling the car:
"Dwyane Wade is not selling the McLaren The Collection gifted him for his 30th birthday. He returned the car to The Collection in exchange for another vehicle. The car is now being sold independently by an individual who bought the car used from our dealership. We were not aware that the client intended to sell the car. We believed he would keep it for his personal collection. We sincerely value our relationship with Mr. Wade. He drives several of our luxury vehicles and we want to be clear that he has nothing to do with the online sale of this vehicle."

During his 'Would You Like A Tour' stop in Paris, Rihanna made a special appearance for their hit "Take Care."
As the two shared serious chemistry on stage, fans were loving it as RiRi did a slew of slow winds in front of the rapper.
Rihanna also performed her hit "Pour It Up" while Drake played her hype man and danced next to her. Shortly after the show, the two headed out to dinner in the City of Love, and headed back to the Hyatt Hotel where Drake was staying.

In this throwback clip from 92.3 The Beat's DJ Julio G, Common weighs in the state of hip hop. The Chicago rapper feels that hip hop is where it should be, but like anything else there are going to be mistakes made by both artists and fans alike as the art form grows and evolves.
"The mistakes we're making as artists and as fans, we're allowed to do that because we aren't perfect," he says.
Common then explains that he envisions a balance in hip hop where thugs can listen to pro-black, conscious rap, and vice versa.
"We need both sides of it because that's how life is, you know?," the rapper tells Julio.
While we’re used to seeing Slim Thug rocking the mic in a pair of jeans and a loose T-shirt, he donned a classic suit at Houston’s City Hall yesterday (Feb. 25) when he was given a proclamation for his contributions to the city.
Slim has been known to give back to Houston’s Northside, where he grew up, since making it to the big time, and the city is acknowledging the rapper for his contributions. Hitting the local rap scene in the late ’90s, Slim Thug, born Stayve Jerome Thomas, has made sure to sponsor food and toy drives to benefit the city’s less fortunate over the years.
The award was presented by City Council member Jerry Davis of District B, the area that includes the Northside, and has officially made the day “Slim Thug Day” or what he calls “Thugga Day.” “S/O Councilman Jerry Davis and @979thebox for making #THUGGADAY possible #SALUTE,” Slim Thug wrote in a caption on Instagram.
Earlier this year, the ‘Boss Life’ creator appeared on CNN to explain the definition of a “thug” and discussed how his moniker prevented him from being recognized for his efforts in the community. “I’m sure the reason why I don’t got no day from the mayor is because my name is Slim Thug,” he said. Then listeners of Houston’s 97.9 the Box pushed to have a day named after him. As a result, Mayor Annise Parker heard them loud and clear and proclaimed Feb. 25 “Slim Thug Day” in Houston.

Few people can party like Rihanna, and the superstar singer really outdid herself last weekend in celebration of her 26th birthday on February 20. Rih Rih gathered up the whole crew and jetted off to the ultra-luxe ski town of Aspen, Colorado where she rented an insanely baller cabin.
The 7-bedroom cabin (actually more of a massive estate), spans 18,750 square feet and features every amenity you could want in a party house.
A 30-foot water wall sits in the 40-foot entrance foyer, and beyond that one finds a movie theater, bowling alley, billiards hall, target range, and arcade -- all within steps of a full bar.
There's a commercial kitchen and a dining room that seats 12, and after eating, why not take a dip in the indoor salt water pool or outdoor stone hot tub? In the mood for something more active? Step outside and take advantage of the estate's private ice skating rink or smack some balls on one of the two tennis courts. After some vigorous activity guests can hang out during any season in the covered outdoor living room.
Other features: a 5-car garage with vehicle turntable, 2-bedroom guest house, and not one but two elevators -- one which goes straight to the master suite.
It's not known how much the singer paid to rent the pad for the weekend, but it's listed for sale at $45 million.

In a somber twist of celebrity fate, Beyonce gives a tribute to Grammy-winning art director Ian Cuttler Sala, a passenger who died in a tragic car accident involving Salma Hayek’s brother Sami.
According to E! News, Sami was driving in Los Angeles when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed over into the westbound lanes of traffic. His car collided with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
Sala was pronounced dead on the scene, while Sami was rushed to a local hospital with several broken ribs and a laceration to his head.
On her Facebook page, Beyonce posted a photo of Ian Cuttler Sala holding a golden gramophone backstage at the Grammys.
“Rest in Peace Ian Cuttler,” she wrote. “Ian was a Grammy Award winning art director and photographer who will be greatly missed. His memorable work includes album covers for ‘Destiny Fulfilled’ and ‘Dangerously in Love.’”
Sala has worked with several big-name artists during his career, including Mariah Carey and Johnny Cash for which he won a 2006 Grammy Award for Best Art Direction for ‘Johnny Cash: The Legend.’ He also earned a Grammy nomination for his art direction on ‘Louis Armstrong: The Complete Hot Five and Hot Seven Recordings.’

Despite releasing the ‘Trinity’ EP just months ago, the Lox members are all planning on dropping solo albums very soon.
“Everybody’s working on solo projects too,” Styles P shared in an interview with Hot 93.7′s ‘Hot Afternoon Show’ in Hartford, Conn.
According to P, himself, Jadakiss and Sheek Louch plan on releasing their own albums along with a proper Lox record. He says that the group took so long to roll out material due to having a poor contractual situation. “As far as the Lox though, it didn’t make sense for us to do the Lox project for a long time,” he said. “Like, we would of did the project and wouldn’t have benefited at all. Contract wise, just how the contract was set up, it just wouldn’t have been wise for us to do it.” Right now, he describes the group’s business situation as “copacetic.”
Styles P’s ‘Ghost and the Phantom,’ will arrive in April, Jadakiss is at work on his ‘Top 5, Dead Or Alive,’ which is almost done, and Sheek’s project is currently untitled.
In addition to new music, the ’90s rap trio is also hitting the road this year for a slew of dates domestically and overseas.
Seth Meyers got thrown a curveball in his first week as the ‘Late Night.’ Kanye West, who was a handful for a seasoned vet like Jimmy Kimmel, was Meyers’ guest for his second show in the late-night circuit (Feb. 25). The rapper didn’t dominate the conversation, however. Yeezus was able to gel well and crack a few laughs with the hosting newcomer.
For ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers,’ West didn’t look as much of a milquetoast as he did on the ‘Kris Jenner Show.’ He did maintain himself as the vigilante against the status quo, telling Meyers, “It’s necessary for an artist like me — a very punk, forward artist — to be on ‘SNL’ that many times, to be on TV and do talk shows, so you guys have an err in the matrix.”
But Ye did have some golden moments. Meyers asked West what’s the difference between working in fashion and music. West baffled everyone with this gem: “Everything in the world is exactly the same.” He paused before explaining that passion is at the core of everything great, regardless of the profession.
“There’s certain people — a teacher in eighth grade [for example] — that [you knew] this person really cared,” West says. “You knew that person cared about you as a student and gave everything they had and they were meant to do that.”
He then talked about aspects of himself that may not be known to many. He claims he has synesthesia, a condition Pharrell also has that makes a person sees sounds as colors, and says his job is to give you “sonic paintings.” Meyers than revealed that West co-wrote a ‘Saturday Night Live’ skit back in 2007, which had him hilariously interrupting random award shows, including a Pumpkin Contest (“It got champagne in it!”).
Perhaps what helped this interview work was how Meyers looked genuinely interested in the guest. Another highlight was when Meyers referred to ‘Last Call,’ the autobiographic finale to ‘The College Dropout.’ In a somewhat brilliant take, the late-show host realized West recorded the album-ending come-up tale a while before the album. This means West was already 100 percent confident about ‘The College Dropout being a success. “The album is not even out and you recorded a song basically saying, ‘It’s a hit, it worked,’” Meyers notes.
Lastly, West once again owned the late-night stage, and this time he decided to do a greatest hits performance. The G.O.O.D. Music leader performed a medley of his best songs, including ‘Stronger,’ ‘Jesus Walks’ and ‘Black Skinhead,’ to close out the night. He solely performed ‘Bound 2‘ on his previous performance on ‘Late Night,’ which was then hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

K. Michelle hit the late-night stage on ‘Arsenio’ Wednesday (Feb. 25). The 29-year-old songstress and ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star performed her song ‘Can’t Raise a Man,’ one fo the soulful tracks on her debut album, ‘Rebellious Soul.’ She also dished on what it’s like to be a reality TV star.
When asked how she would describe herself on ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ the southern singer joked about being a soft-spoken, sweet girl. She then revealed that watching herself has been an eye-opener and she understands why people often think of her as an outrageous, out-of-control person.
“They think I’m mean… but um, really if you ask the producers of the show — they will tell you — I was actually the calmest one on the show. I just had the best climax,” K. Michelle explains.
Despite the variety of misconceptions reality TV viewers have of her, she’s not bidding farewell to the small screen. K. Michelle will star in her own VH1 series ‘No New Friends.’ She began filming the show earlier this month. In addition to getting in front of the camera, K. Michelle is currently hitting a wealth of stages across the country as she joins Robin Thicke for his Blurred Lines tour.

It seems hard to believe, but rapper Buck 22's "Achy Breaky 2" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus actually edged out Drake's "Worst Behavior" by one spot on the Billboard charts.
The song is a huge hit on urban radio and debuted at #11 on the Hot Rap songs chart, while Drizzy's song took the number 12 spot.
"Achy Breaky 2" is a remake of Billy Ray's 1992 hit "Achy Breaky Heart," which held the #1 spot on the country charts for five weeks.

iTunes Radio isn’t the only station offering first listens of some major upcoming releases. A day after Pharrell‘s ‘G I R L‘ and Rick Ross‘ ‘Mastermind‘ are available to listen, Ashanti‘s fifth studio album, ‘BraveHeart,’ made its way into Pandora‘s streaming service.
The much-delayed ‘BraveHeart’ is Ashanti’s first album since 2008′s ‘The Declaration.’ Guests include Rick Ross, dancehall artist Beenie Man, the ever-present French Montana and Jeremih, who’s also working on his comeback album. Ashanti recently dropped the music video for ‘I Got It,’ the single featuring the Maybach Music Group leader.
The singer’s plans after the album include writing music for Tupac Shakur‘s biopic. But for now, she has a solid, 13-track offering available for your ears.

We love a good mash-up album and this one by the self-described “Manipulator of Sound” Amerigo Gazaway is a must-listen. The ‘Yasiin Gaye: The Departure (Side One)’ album features the intuitive rhymes of Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def) with the music and ad-libs from the late soul man Marvin Gaye.
The 13-track collection brings two talented artists together for seamlessly-blended songs.
The set’s lead single ‘Inner City Travellin’ Man‘ is a mix of Bey’s 1997 song ‘Travelin’ Man’ and Gaye’s classic 1971 tune, ‘Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler).’ The ‘Definition of Infinity’ is a funky dancehall banger, which uses Black Star’s ‘Definition‘ and Gaye’s soulful ad-libs.
Another standout tune is ‘Ms. Fat Booty,’ which flips Bey’s classic summertime banger into a throwback ’60s rap ballad thanks to Gaye’s ‘Ain’t That Peculiar.’ Gazaway then flips the ‘Peculiar’ song again for the street track ‘Peculiar Mathematics,’ on which Bey spits analytical rhymes from ‘Mathematics.’
On the fantastic ‘Time (To Get It Together)’ producer Gazaway effortlessly mixes different Bey verses about time and lays them atop Gaye’s ‘Time to Get it Together‘ instrumental.
Finally, the project ends with the bombastic orchestral jam ‘Two Worlds’ featuring Kanye West. Over a familiar hip-hop breakbeat, Bey and Yeezy’s rhymes from ‘Two Words‘ are used along with Gaye’s 1965 classic song ‘It Takes Two.’
Overall, Amerigo Gazaway’s ‘Yasiin Gaye: The Departure (Side One)’ is a masterful mash-up project. You can download the collection for free at his Bandcamp website.

Paris really is the “City of Love.” Former couple-turned-friends (and sometimes collaborators), Drake and Rihanna were seen giving each other plenty of love (of the friendly kind) last night (Feb. 25) during the rapper’s Would You Like A Tour.
The Bajan songstress was spotted dancing to Drizzy’s ‘Started From the Bottom’ while in the crowd and even joined him onstage to sing her hit ‘Pour It Up.’ The Toronto native provided backing vocals during the number and did some awkward, cute dancing too.
Although they haven’t dated since reportedly 2009, the two musicians have remained friendly on and off wax. Drizzy recently told Rolling Stone that Rihanna was his “ultimate fantasy” girl at one point.

Black women weren't too fond of the comparison and called him out on it. Perez fought back with users, defending his tweet. Many believed that the openly gay blogger was wrong to popularize stereotypes and wanted him to apologize.
