A$AP Rocky Surprises Fans by Bringing Out Yasiin Bey at London Show [VIDEO]
These days, it’s hard to surprise fans at a rap concert when the artist they’ve come to see brings another performer onstage because they come to the venue expecting it. However, A$AP Rocky surprised the crowd when he brought out Yasiin Bey, aka Mos Def, during a show at XOYO in London on Saturday (April 4).
A fan caught the moment in a video, which was uploaded to YouTube. The Black Star member appears onstage causing the crowd to go absolutely crazy. In fact, people react so passionately to his appearance that Yasiin had to tell folks to back up and calm down a bit before he began performing.
After a few long pauses, the instrumental to his hit song “Ms. Fat Booty” dropped, but the rapper chose not to spit any verses. He did kick a few lines of “Universal Magnetic,” however, much to the crowd’s delight.
From there, Rocky deemed the night historic since he and the Brooklyn MC stepped onstage together for what appeared to be the first time.
There’s a good chance the hyped crowd thought Yasiin and A$AP were eventually going to perform together but that didn’t happen. Instead, the Harlem spitter played a new track off his upcoming album, At.Long.Last.A$AP, which seemed to be well-received.
In a recent interview with Complex, Rocky said that he took his time making this sophomore album and he’s in the most creative place he’s ever been in his life.
“I needed time to master my craft,” he stated. “You don’t rush art, and I don’t think you quickly produce fine art. You take your time. That’s not an excuse, or me trying to justify [anything], that’s truly what I believe.”

Mixed in with those clips, we see RiRi performing in front of an American flag as images of historic and tragic moments in history like 9/11, Apollo 11 1969 Moon Landing, Hurricane Katrina, President Obama’s inauguration and so much more flashes across the screen.

Keaway 'Kealo' Ivy Shot and Killed During Music Video Shoot in Maryland [VIDEO]
In a bizarre case of when “keeping it real” goes wrong, a local rapper was shot and killed with a prop gun during a music video shoot in Maryland last week (April 1).
According to NBC 4 Washington, Keaway “Kealo” Ivy, whose videos can be found on YouTube under the name Kealo, was filming a video for his new song when somehow the gun that was supposed to be used as a prop went off and a bullet struck Ivy in the chest. Sadly, investigators discovered the rapper’s body alone behind the apartment complex where the video was being filmed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have arrested 21-year-old Lafonzo Leonard Iracks for the crime and are now trying to figure out if the shooting was intentional or an accident.
According to reports, family members said the two men had been working together on the rap video. Ivy, whose real name is Keaway Lafonz Ivy, was the director of the visual.
Friends say Ivy had a passion for shooting videos and would often spend many late nights editing clips. “He was trying to do what he could to be the best father he could be for his child,” said Durrell Cooper. “His talent was immeasurable.”
Although Ivy often rapped about guns and violence in his songs, many of the rapper’s friends say that he was far from a street thug.
“Just because a person raps about it doesn’t mean he lived it,” said David Ayers, a friend of Kealo Ivy. “He was an entrepreneur. He wanted to do more.”

That’s because the sportswear company has signed K. Dot to a shoe deal and have now released a commercial featuring the Compton rhymer.
The 75-second ad is called “Be Ventilated” and focuses on the Reebok Ventilator Day-Glo sneaker. In a voice-over, Lamar recites a poem encouraging the youth to step into their own lane and be fearless.
“We can no longer sit idly by while the powers that be tell us how to live, how to think, how to act, all the while writing about so-and-so not caring about us,” he says. “No anonymous post or spineless sub tweets will do us justice. We, the people, can no longer hide… A wind of change is blowing in. Inhale. Exhale. And breathe.”
Lamar gathers thousands of people, who are all wearing various colors of the Reebok Ventilator kicks, to represent the freedom of expression through their own unique fashion sense.

Overall, it shows that Tinashe not only wants to be daring with her music but with her visuals as well. But for safety’s sake, we prefer the songbird to entertain us on ground level.
In the meantime, Tinashe is going to bring some daring choreography to a stage near you when she joins Nicki Minaj on tour this summer. The U.S. leg of The Pinkprint Tour kicks off July 17 in Dallas.

Kanye West was feeling godly in all white on Easter Sunday (April 5) when he decided to attend church with his wife, Kim Kardashian, daughter North West and the rest of the Kardashian crew.
Dressed in white T-shirt with holes and matching jeans, Yeezus also strolled into the service in Agoura Hills, Calif. with Kris, Khloe, Kourtney and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Kourtney’s little ones, Mason and Penelope Disick, as well were also present.
Even Kris’ new beau, Corey Gamble, and Kylie’s rumored boyfriend, Tyga, showed up with his son King Cairo.
It’s nice to see that Yeezy and his family went to church to praise someone besides himself.
In related news, there is a new read that replaces God’s name with Kanye’s moniker called The Book of Yeezus. One of the creators of the book explains how it was created as an art form rather than a tribute to West. “This book wasn’t made to make fun at Kanye, or really even show or undying devotion towards him,” he stated. “Book of Yeezus represents a fresh take on what the Bible could look like in our modern world. It is a statement – an editorial art piece.”

The “Truffle Butter” rhymer welcomed Donnie to the stage, a tween male who was so excited he was having the chance to meet Minaj that he burst into tears. “I’ve been dreaming for this moment for so long,” he said in between sobbing. Poor kid.
As Nicki glanced out into the audience and thew on a frown to connect with the emotional Barb onstage, she pulled him in for a hug to console him. The end result is hilarious. Donnie quickly embraces the Queens, N.Y. MC and rests his head right on her ample bosoms. Donnie, who looks like he’s about to hit puberty, was surely blissful for the moment to be that close to his idol. He immediately stopped crying, began beaming with a smile and even raised his eyebrows up and down as if to say, “Yaaaass, my plan worked!”
The Young Money queen shared the hilarious moment with her fans on Instagram, revealing that her breasts have “real power beaming out of them.”
“Get your life from the little boy in this video pls. Look at how he stopped crying wen he laid his head on dem thangz. They have real power beaming out of them that can cure the sick #Belfast I love u so much. Wow. Life tonight. #ThePinkprintTOUR,” she wrote.
Boobs are one of Nicki’s favorite parts of the female anatomy. Since her entry into the music business, she’s signed her autograph on fans’ breasts and recently squeezed one of her Barbz’s boobs onstage during a tour stop in Germany. It’s just her way of showing appreciation for their support.
