NBA Commissioner Says Sterling Ban Wasn't Personal

After banning longtime friend Donald Sterling from the NBA in April, NBA commissioner Adam Silver says there are no hard feelings on his end about the decision.

"On a personal level it was very difficult," he said to TMZ. "Its business and I think he understood that as well."

Silver made the call after Sterling was heard in a recording stating racist comments about African Americans. Silver also made it clear that he didn't want any members of the Sterling family in ownership of the Clippers.

It was reported Thursday that ex-Microsoft executive Steve Ballmer won the highest bid for the Clippers at $2 billion.

Jennifer Lopez Is Sultry and Sexy in 'First Love' Video

What do you get when you put Jennifer Lopez in desolate desert? One sizzling-hot video! J.Lo is sultry and sexy in her clip for the Max Martin-produced ballad ‘First Love.’

Directed by Anthony Mandler, the video features Lopez in the Mojave desert searching for her true love. Then comes her hunky love interest, British model David Gandy, who comes to her aid on a motorcycle no less.

We then see the two canoodling in the hot desert, hugging and kissing on each other. The 44-year-old pop star also shows off all her bodacious curves in an all-white bodysuit and black dress. There’s also some side-to-side boob action from Jenny, as well. Don’t blink or else you might miss it.

We must also mention that J.Lo’s visual gives off an aura of classic ’90s Herb Ritts videos like Janet Jackson’s ‘Love Will Never Do Without You‘ and Lopez’s own sepia-colored ‘Ain’t It Funny.’

Overall, the video looks amazing and Lopez is stunning as ever — even in the hot desert.

Jennifer Lopez’s 10th album, ‘A.K.A.,’ will arrive in stores on June 17. The collection features guest appearances from Nas, Iggy Azalea, T.I., Pitbull and Rick Ross.

Fans who were in attendance witnessed SZA and her special guest, Kendrick Lamar, perform their duet ‘Babylon’ live. It started with SZA singing a cover song of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams,’ and then K.Dot jumps onstage and performs his lyrics from ‘Babylon.’ The Compton native’s rhyme flow mixed with SZA’s ethereal vocals made for one of the night’s memorable moments.

Fellow rapper Mac Miller, who produced two tracks on her EP, also dropped by with guitar in hand to perform ‘Ur.’ SZA was very grateful for his appearance and expressed it on Twitter.

Watch Jay Pharaoh Rap in 'Problems' Video

Comedian Jay Pharaoh is best known for his comedic skills on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ but he flexes his funny bone in his new video for ‘Problems.’

Set to a steady, bass heavy beat, the funnyman pulls off his best gangsta rap posturing and spits rhymes about the hard life of rap artists. Although the beat would hint at a more serious, uncensored look into Pharaoh’s hardships, the lyrics actually point to something a bit more comedic.

“I got problems / I got issues / I got problems / Now where the tissues,” he raps on the chorus.

Poking fun at the persona that rappers put up when they’re performing these songs, the ‘SNL’ star does a great job proving that he’s got lyrical skills. There’s also some witty digs at some of today’s popular hip-hoppers.

While he talks about smoking weed and making tons of money, there are parts in the song where Pharoah goes out of his rapper persona and explains that it’s all facade. After his quick explanation, he jumps back even harder into the chorus.

Between the auto-tune and breaks between gangsta rap and dramatic monologue, this is a video that will keep you laughing from beginning to end.

Rich Gang Enlists Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan for New Single 'Lifestyle'

Rich GangYoung Money/Cash Money/Republic After dropping their first eponymous compilation album last summer, Birdman and his Rich Gang — the loose collective of Cash Money and Young Money artists and various famous friends — kickstart their campaign for 2014 by releasing this new single, ‘Lifestyle.’

While there’s no YMCMB presence outside of ad-libs from Baby, who dedicates the track to his late mother, the Rich Gang ringleader takes a back seat and lets two of Atlanta’s rising new stars take the wheel on this groovy record.

Rappers Young Thug sounds even more helium-inflated as he handles the hook and opening verse, before Rich Homie Quan shares his own croaking account of that good life.

“We came straight from the bottom to the top my lifestyle / This is only the beginning / N—- livin’ life like a volcano / And this is only the beginnin’ / I’m on the top of the mountain puffin’ on clouds and n—-s still beggin’,” raps Young Thug on the chorus.

‘Lifestyle’ is produced by London On Da Track, who has previously worked with Young Thug on ‘Baby’ and Rich Homie Quan on ‘They Don’t Know.’

G-Eazy switches things up midway through the video as he portrays himself and delivers some heavy braggadocio lines in his second verse.

“Signed Gerald, I’m sincere / This year I’m in here / I’ll spell it out to make things clear / Meanwhile, your end’s near, I’ve got a lane and I’m in gear,” he raps. “But you’re dope, you got a bad chick, yeah, cool bro we all get it / She wears a ring, came through without it / You really think she stay true? I doubt it / Cause I’m f—ing your girlfriend, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Looking like a man of authority on the cover, the California native shows his softer side and opens up about his search for finding his true love.

“Sometimes I just feel like with what I’m doing — it’s not meant for me,” he shares with the magazine. “But I’m definitely not cynical, and I’m not against it. When I see people like Wiz and Amber, they just be FaceTiming and s— — I want that.”

“I love seeing love. I had this one girl that I was really tryna go hard with, but it wasn’t it,” he continues. “I really was on my faithful s— but once I broke out of it, I just went wild. And then I made ‘Beach House 1,’ you know what I’m saying?”

However, one girl who is the main love of Ty’s life is his daughter Jailynn. Soon to enter the fourth grade, Jailynn is the one girl that the ‘Paranoid’ singer admits he’s puts all his energies into even when he’s broke.

“I love Jailynn so much. She’s the best daughter. I bet every dad says that,” he says. “At first, I felt like I wasn’t all the way ready. Some birthdays would come around and I wouldn’t be able to get the most, but now I can get them anything they need. Every time I leave her, I’m like, Aww, f—. I wanna be with her at all times.”

As far as his music career, Ty Dolla $ign is an artist who’s just trying to make it in the R&B/rap game. But even though he’s a level-headed artist, it doesn’t mean he has to make music that’s so heavy and deep. Ty tells the mag that he’s into making party music too.

“I’m not tryna promote being the best f—ing American man,” he said. “I’m promoting partying and having fun and being that type of American. I don’t wanna hurt nobody’s feelings. I’m not gonna front and act like your boyfriend. I’m out here, you know what I’m saying? I’m about to go on tour! It’s like running for the presidency…except without a wife.”

Along with Ty Dolla $ign, Sam Smith is also one of the other cover stars for the Fader magazine’s Summer Music issue.

Aaron Hernandez Alleged Double Murder Was Over Spilled Drink?

Former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez is currently on trial for double murder following the shooting deaths of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado. According to officials, Hernandez was becoming increasingly paranoid and felt he was constantly being "tested" in the city of Boston.

Prosecutors claim Abreu was dancing in a nightclub when he bumped into Hernandez, spilling his drink. Officials say Aaron believed Abreu smiled but didn't apologize, setting Aaron off.

Hernandez left the club and waited for Abreu to exit with his friends. He followed them to their car and pulled up beside them, yelling; "Yo what's up now?" and began firing into the vehicle killing Abreu, friend Furtado, and injuring a third passenger.

Prosecutors also say Hernandez admitted to shooting the victims to a friend, saying "I think I got one in the head and one in the chest."

Hernandez has pled not guilty.

Kendrick Lamar Drops Half a Mill on Modest California Home (@kendricklamar, @topdawgent)

Compton's Kendrick Lamar has never been the flashy type. We rarely see him with icy chains, expensive cars or throwing money at chicks in the club. He's always had a humble aura about him, and that's ringing even more true with his latest and some would say most important purchase; his first home.

Lamar dropped about half a mill ($523,500 to be exact) on a modest 4-bedroom home in Eastvale, CA. Clocking in at an hour's drive outside of LA, he clearly chose to go the more discreet route instead of purchasing a beach home in Malibu or mansion in Bel Air.

The home is of decent size, coming in at roughly 7,800 square feet, but is a far cry from the typical rap "crib." His fellow Compton rapper Tyga reportedly purchased a 9,280-square-foot home in Cali's rich Calabasas neighborhood for a reported $6.5 million.

Iggy Azalea Makes Chart History with 'Fancy' on Billboard Hot 100

Having dominated club playlists and radio airwaves over the past few months, Iggy Azalea‘s ‘Fancy‘ continues to surge in popularity and now sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Aussie rhymer’s collaboration with Charli XCX dethroned John Legend’s ‘All of Me,’ which held the No. 1 spot for three straight weeks after leapfrogging Pharrell Williams’ ubiquitous song ‘Happy’ earlier this month.

Azalea becomes only the fourth solo female rapper in Billboard’s Hot 100 history to have a No. 1 hit.

The 23-year-old artist joins Lauryn Hill who had her big hit with ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’ in 1998. In 2001, Lil Kim had her first pop chart-topper with Christina Aguilera, Mya and Pink on ‘Lady Marmalade,’ and Shawnna topped the Hot 100 with Ludacris on ‘Stand Up’ in 2003.

Azalea can also celebrate being the first act since the Beatles to simultaneously occupy the top two spots with their first Hot 100 hits as her ‘Problem‘ song with Ariana Grande jumps to No. 2 on the tally.

Iggy took to social media to share her excitement. She tweeted:
