Beyonce offers a remix of her 2003 smash, ‘Crazy in Love,’ and the execution is nothing less than superb.
Producer Boots puts his own spin on the superstar’s decade old-single, scrapping the original soundscape and replacing it with eerie piano keys, heavy percussion and electric guitars, making for a riveting sonic experience.
Warping Bey’s original vocals and peppering wailing ad-libs throughout the track, Boots concocts a brand new tune that is completely unique to the OG version and perfectly fits the sinister undertones that is ‘Fifty Shades of Grey.’
The first time we heard a teaser of the song was when a trailer for the film debuted last year. Experience the sultry track in full below.

Some rappers probably would say they’ve officially achieved success when they’ve pocketed a certain amount of money, while others might attribute it to reaching a certain position on the Billboard charts. But J. Cole’s definition is much different. After hearing one of his songs being played by a college marching band, he’s “made it.”
After the rapper heard Southern University’s Human Jukebox play ‘Wet Dreamz,’ off his ’2014 Forest Hills Drive’ album, he took to Twitter to give thanks.
“I ain’t make it until I saw this,” he wrote. “A high honor! Thank you.”
And thank yous were definitely in order because not only did the band pick a great tune to play, they did so perfectly. The large horn section made the track sound that much bigger.
There were even a team of dancers up front who created a special choreography routine for the cut, so it’s evident at least a few people in the band are big Cole fans.

Iggy Azalea has been the most polarizing name in rap for the past year. But regardless of how you feel about the Australian import, she continues to flourish and keep her name buzzing among fans and industry big-wigs alike.
The rapper made her latest splash during an appearance last night on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to promote her ‘Reclassified’ album, which includes previous hits such as ‘Fancy,’ along with five brand-new records.
As the musical guest for the night, Iggy brought along R&B star Jennifer Hudson to perform their hit collaboration, ‘Trouble.’ Despite it being their first live TV performance together, the onstage chemistry between the two was evident from start to finish with both vibing off of each other’s movements and energy with ease.
Backed by the shows in-house band, the Roots, Azalea and J-Hud owned the stage and looked stylish as ever while doing so.

Kanye West's 'All Day' Leaks Again Featuring Travi$ Scott
Kanye West is expected to perform a new song at the 2015 Grammy Awards Sunday (Feb. 8). Hopefully, he’ll take the stage to debut ‘All Day.’
A short, rough leak hit the Internet late last year, but now a longer version featuring Travi$ Scott arrives courtesy of Anoski’s Soundcloud page. Sadly, the rough draft was pulled from the Internet soon after it hit. Those who heard the song could tell ‘All Day’ is going to be big once it drops, despite the sample’s low quality.
The backbone is still the same from when the leak first dropped: anthemic bass and drums filled with West quotables: “Ridin’ ’round listening to Sade, n—-,” “Shoppin’ for the winter, and it’s just May, n—-.” There’s just so many ways to ball.
West’s experimental tendencies are at play here, too. The song breaks off into a twinkling outro where a woozy synth brings the track to a close.
There’s no set release date for ‘All Day.’ The sooner the better, of course.
Bobby Shmurda Remains in Jail After $2 Million Bail Package Withdrawn
Bobby Shmurda’s supporters won’t be witnessing the rapper shmoney dancing as a free man just yet.
After news spread that he could be released from jail this week, Bobby will now remain behind bars. According to the NY Times, the Brooklyn rhymer’s bail arrangement has been put on hold. “Management associates” were dealing with the bail package before it was withdrawn.
“It’s our understanding that the suretor has withdrawn and that no hearing is currently scheduled,” said Kati Cornell, a spokeswoman for the New York City prosecutor’s office.
Shmurda’s lawyer Kenneth Montgomery also confirmed the bail withdrawal. “We’re trying to do a new bond application and are in the process in the figuring that out,” Montgomery said. Nevertheless he seemed to have faith adding, “We’re hoping to get it done within the next week.”
Celebrity bail bondsman Ira Judelson apparently was to provide the $2 million bail for Shmurda and his brother Jahvas Pollard.
Since Dec. 17, Bobby Shmurda has been in police custody. The ‘Hot N—-’ creator, along with members of the GS9 crew, were detained and hit with a long list of gang-related conspiracy, weapon and narcotics charges.

Sam Smith Mourns Loss of His Lover in 'Lay Me Down' Video
Sam Smith has given us heartbreak in the past, but he takes it to another level with his new video for ‘Lay Me Down.’
Set in a church in southeast London, the crooner stands in the middle of the aisle with the congregation gathered around him holding candles. As the camera starts to pan out, we find out that he’s at a funeral where the song becomes a kind of eulogy to the loved one he lost.
Darkness turns to daylight and we find Sam in the middle of his wedding — leading us to assume that the one in the coffin is his late husband. Next, the singer is found reflecting in a pew about the happy memories he once had with his other half.
While he says that he doesn’t necessarily want to be a spokesperson solely for the LGBT community, this video really makes a mark on what is going on in the world today with the same-sex marriage debate still a hot-button issue.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's Family Members Gather to Say Goodbye at Hospital
Almost a week after Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub, it appears that Whitney Houston’s daughter is reportedly brain dead. According to People, doctors have told the family that nothing can be done for the 21-year-old actress.
“Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye,” a family member reportedly told the celebrity website.
Bobby Brown is devastated and has been crying nonstop. “[They] are grieving,” said a source. However, a second family member isn’t giving up hope and is holding to her faith that Kristina will pull through.
“It’s sinking in that this is it,” a second family member reportedly told People. “But we’re all still praying that God will intervene and heal her body.”
This news is both sad and eerie since her late mother was found dead much the same way. Three years ago, Houston was discovered in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Feb. 11, 2012, hours before she would attend a pre-Grammy Awards bash. The 48-year-old pop icon eventually died at a hospital from complications related to heart disease and drug use.

The Weeknd Hypnotizes With 'Where You Belong'
The Weeknd comes through with his latest release, ‘Where You Belong,’ his second contribution to the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ soundtrack.
The song finds the Weeknd crooning sexual innuendo over a sparse soundbed in his usual hypnotic vocal tone. “I feel the blood rushing throughout ya body,” he sings. The Toronto native also admits to being “numb to the topic of loving,” concocting another nihilistic love song for the masses to enjoy.
This track follows ‘Earned It,’ which also appears on the movie soundtrack. The crooner delivered a kinky, NSFW visual for the effort last month.
The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ soundtrack will be available on Feb. 10. The motion picture hits theaters on Feb. 13, right in time for Valentine’s Day.

Ghostface Killah Argues With Man During Performance, Fight Breaks Out [VIDEO]
Don’t mess with Ghostface Killah. Especially when he’s on stage in the middle of a performance. Just ask a Texas man, who was in the audience at the rapper’s show and started a heated argument.
In a video released by TMZ, you can see the ’36 Seasons’ creator dare the rowdy audience member to approach him and things quickly escalated from there.
“I dare you to step right there,” Ghost said, pointing to the stage. “All that don’t mean nothing. Step right there. I will pound you out early. It’s Friday night. This n—- will go to sleep early.”
The Wu member then told the crowd that the man was giving him the middle finger all night and insulting him while he was performing.
At that point, people in the crowd took it upon themselves to start shoving and punching the seemingly drunk concert goer, and once that occurred, security jumped in and escorted the guy out the door.
Props should definitely go to Mr. Killah for keeping his composure, because he even discouraged the crowd from assaulting the man any further. Clearly, things could have been a lot worse if Ghost would have handled things differently. On that night he was a true professional.
