The movie adaption of the popular book, ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ hits theaters on Feb. 13, but in the meantime, we’ve been blessed with a few loose cuts from the accompanying soundtrack to hold us over. Beyonce offers a remix of her 2003 smash, ‘Crazy in Love,’ and the execution is nothing less than superb.
Producer Boots puts his own spin on the superstar’s decade old-single, scrapping the original soundscape and replacing it with eerie piano keys, heavy percussion and electric guitars, making for a riveting sonic experience.
Warping Bey’s original vocals and peppering wailing ad-libs throughout the track, Boots concocts a brand new tune that is completely unique to the OG version and perfectly fits the sinister undertones that is ‘Fifty Shades of Grey.’
