Paula Patton Files for Divorce From Robin Thicke
Keeping in line with what’s been a terrible year for Robin Thicke, his wife Paula Patton has finally filed for divorce.
After separating in February, Patton cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, according to TMZ. Thicke reportedly gave up on fixing the marriage in July and was waiting for his wife of nine years to file the papers.
This means Thicke has nothing to show for the massive publicity hit he took during the spring. The 38-year-old launched a public campaign for Patton’s love through a series of in-concert apologies and the release of his ‘Paula’ album. Not only was Thicke lambasted by critics and fans for what many considered to be public harassment, he also had a very sharp sales decrease from last year’s ‘Blurred Lines’ LP. ‘Paula’ infamously sold 550 copies in the U.K., and 158 in Australia in its debut week.
Perhaps the only good news to come from this is that there may not be any legal drama during the court proceedings. Patton is seeking joint custody of their 4-year-old son, Julian.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only legal matters Thicke is dealing with. The Marvin Gaye estate lawsuit regarding ‘Blurred Lines’ is still hanging over him.

In the clip, Ne-Yo is constantly being followed by pole dancers. From the convenience store to the library to the park and in the club, the singer can’t escape the dancers who are gloriously twerking on the pole. Not that he’s complaining, mind you.
The video also co-stars Nicole “The Pole” Williams, an expert pole dancer who appeared in Rihanna’s ‘Pour It Up’ video. Rapper Juicy J also makes an appearance playing a moneymaking boss who allows pole dancing in the office for his employees. Must be nice.
Overall, it’s a fun and risqué video that plays on probably every man’s daily fantasies.
Meanwhile, Ne-Yo will embark on an intimate 11-city tour next week. The trek kicks off on Oct. 12 in San Francisco, Calif., and wraps up on Nov. 2 in Chicago.

Jessie J showed off her sultry side in the visual for ‘Bang Bang’ and in the new video for ‘Burnin’ Up,’ she takes it further by getting down and dirty.
Set in Los Angeles, the U.K. songstress flaunts her figure in a gold two-piece (there’s even a white number) by the pool, all while gets down with a group of backup dancers. The black PVC body suit is a nice touch, too.
With quick camera cuts and flames all over the video, the visual clearly exudes sex. And if you didn’t get that point, Jessie makes it clearer as she gets intimate with her leading man.
Meanwhile, 2 Chainz does things a bit differently. As he spits his verse with conviction, he stands between two hot women getting to work with their dance moves.
Summer might be over, but Jessie J keeps that vacation feeling alive here. ‘Burnin’ Up’ is the latest single off her third album, ‘Sweet Talker,’ which drops on Oct. 14.

Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda' Reaches Platinum Status
It looks like everyone loves Nicki Minaj‘s buns, hun. The bootylicious single ‘Anaconda’ as taken America by storm, so much so, that it has reached platinum status for 1 million copies shipped in the U.S.
On Tuesday (Oct. 7), The Queen Barbz made the announcement of her sales achievement on her social media account. The Young Money rapper also thanked the fans for helping her achieve such a significant milestone. She tweeted:
In addition, ‘Anaconda’ just climbed to No. 2 on the iTunes chart in the U.K., followed by Jessie J’s ‘Bang Bang’ at No. 3, which also features Minaj. Talk about a bang for your buck!
Here in the states, ‘Anaconda’ currently sits at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 tally. The single has also become her longest solo No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart after six weeks at the apex.
Not to mention her jungle-inspired video broke a 24-hour VEVO record with 19.6 million views. So far, the clip has been watch 238 million times and counting.
Minaj’s ‘Anaconda,’ which was produced by Polow da Don and Da Internz, will appear on her upcoming album ‘The Pink Print,’ which is due in stores on Nov. 24.

The Good Will Out x Asics Gel Lyte V 'Koyo'
The Good Will Out looked to the east for inpsiration this time around to cook up a colorway that is inspired by the changing seasons in Japan. The autumnal palette is properly reflected by their latest Asics Gel Lyte V colorway dubbed the ‘Koyo’.
The term itself is a callback to the autumn leaves of japan which are comparable to the cherry blossoms here in the states which means that they are a pretty big deal. To achieve this feel a deep burgundy tone is used along the upper in both suede and a neoprene bootie with a black leaf graphic print on it. Golden highlights are also used along with hits of grey to really enhance the tonality of the colorway.
This colorful collaboration is set to release exclusively to The Good Will Out in Cologne, Germany on Oct. 18 but don’t let that bum you out as a wider release is set to reach other Asics retailers on Oct. 25.

To celebrate the launch of BBC Music, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell and Emeli Sande, among others, join forces to recreate the 1966 Beach Boys hit, ‘God Only Knows.’
Set in the Alexander Palace Theatre in London, Pharrell kicks off the track and looks sharp in a suit with his signature cuffed pant. He’s followed by Emeli, who’s seated at the end of an elaborate banquet to sing the second line. Stevie later takes on his part and is illuminated by flying gems. The veteran crooner also plays the harmonica. Meanwhile, Sam Smith ends does his dreamy bit right before Brian Wilson, one of the Beach Boys, finishes off the song.
“All of the artists did such a beautiful job I can’t thank them enough,” Wilson said. “I’m just honored that ‘God Only Knows’ was chosen. ‘God Only Knows’ is a very special song. An extremely spiritual song and one of the best I’ve ever written.”
Lorde, Elton John, Chris Martin, Brian May of Queen, The Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Florence and the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch also contribute to the iconic song.
Aside from launching BBC Music, the song will also be released as a single. Proceeds from the sales will go to the BBC’s Children in Need foundation.

Jay Z is, arguably, the most famous rapper in the world. But apparently there’s at least one person who doesn’t know who he is. While visiting Paris, a tourist (or a fake paparazzo) asked Hov the strangest question.
In the clip, Jay, who’s holding daughter Blue Ivy, is taking a private tour of The Louvre in Paris along with wife Beyonce. As they make their way into the historic French museum, the shutterbug asks Jay Z within earshot, “Who is he?”
The rap mogul, with Blue in his arms, responds back with, “Who are you?” The tourist appears to be taken aback by Jay’s response and the deadly gaze he gives him as he walks by.
Beyonce, meanwhile, was totally oblivious of the interaction as she was taking pictures of the beautiful museum.
We don’t know if the tourist was being facetious or only joking around. One thing’s for sure, after this encounter, he definitely knows who Jigga is now.
