Ne-Yo Embarking on Intimate 'One Night' Tour
Ne-Yo is ready to get up close and personal with his fans. The Grammy Award-winning crooner is hitting the road on his One Night with Ne-Yo Tour in the fall.
The 11-date jaunt finds Ne-Yo hitting club venues like the House of Blues in major cities in the U.S. The month-long trek begins Oct. 12 in San Francisco, Calif., and ends Nov. 2 in Chicago. Tickets go on sale Sept. 5 at 10AM ET via Artist Arena.
The intimate concert will feature Ne-Yo sharing the inspiration behind some of his chart-topping hits. The singer will also be performing new material from his upcoming sixth album ‘Non-Fiction,’ including his latest single, ‘Money Can’t Buy‘ featuring Jeezy.
In addition, Ne-Yo will release a new track, ‘She Knows,’ featuring Juicy J, on Sept. 15. The 31-year-old artist recently previewed the song for his followers on Instagram, which you can watch below.

Luke James Releases New Single 'Exit Wounds'
Luke James is on a roll. We’re just weeks away until his self-titled album hits stores and today (Sept. 2), the crooner drops a new single called ‘Exit Wounds.’
Much like his previous singles — ‘Dancing in the Dark‘ and ‘Options‘ — the piano-driven track is another emotional ballad.
Produced by Danja and Ms. Lago, the song features James using his falsetto to sing about being dumped, which brings him much sadness and anger.
“I hope you know, this ain’t a heart, it’s just an exit wound that just won’t close / My brain is guarded each time I let you through, you left a hole,” he laments before shouting, “F— you!”
Last week, James revealed the cover art and tracklist of his self-titled album, which arrives in stores on Sept. 23. The collection features production from Kadis & Sean, the Alliance, Salaam Remi and others.
In addition, you can see James stripping down to his birthday suit in his latest video for ‘Dancing in the Dark.’

Usher Announces Dates for the UR Experience Tour
Following his spectacular performance at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, Usher is now ready to take his act on the road this fall. The R&B sensation is embarking on The UR Experience Tour in November.
The 27-city North American trek kicks off Nov. 1 in Montreal, Canada and will hit major cities like Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Atlanta and Miami before wrapping up in Tampa, Fla., on Dec. 14.
Joining Usher on the trek is fellow R&B singer August Alsina and DJ Cassidy.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale Sept. 8 at 10AM ET at Live Nation. American Express cardholders will be able to purchase before the general release.
The tour comes as the veteran crooner is preparing to release his eighth album, rumored to be titled ‘UR,’ in the fall. He’s already released two songs from the effort: ‘She Came to Give It to You‘ and ‘Good Kisser.’ In addition, Usher is featured on Chris Brown’s latest single, ‘New Flame.’

Supreme x Vans Native American Collection
Supreme doesn’t half step at all and with their latest collaboration they are bringing back a model that your average hypebeast probably didn’t fully appreciate before now. The Vans Native American is next up on the release schedule and it is indeed packing some colorful heat.
Four colorways are set to hit the shops shelves including navy, olive, oxblood and black. Each one has a suede upper with white contrast colored stitching and apart from that its a totally tonal affair. They get that hit of co-branding on the side as well and those vulcanized rubber outsoles really help boost the look also.
They may be limited releases but they are skate shoes first and the gallery below should show you just how nicely they wear after being beat up a bit. Look for them to release on Sept 4 and don’t expect to see them in the store on Sept 5.

Tinashe vs. Prince — The Boombox Battle
No one cleaned up like Tinashe did in this week’s The Boombox Battle. She not only won the competition but also dominated the poll with 98.84 percent of the fan vote — leaving Luke James in the dust with a mere 1.16 percent.
‘In the Meantime’ is Tinashe’s latest track off her upcoming debut, ‘Aquarius,’ set to release on Oct. 7. With a fluid melody, T-Minus’ bouncy beat and the singer’s airy vocals, the song has a smooth sensuality that compliments her flirty lyrics.
“In the meantime, f— in the meantime/ I need ya, but just for tonight, boy,” she sings.
This week, Prince‘s new track, ‘Clouds,’ goes against the 21-year-old Los Angeles songstress. The funky track will take you back to the days of ‘Purple Rain,’ with the various synths and electric guitar textures. The iconic singer’s voice goes through a slight Auto-Tune filter, but his signature sound is ever-present. Off his upcoming solo album, ‘ART OFFICIAL AGE,’ ‘Clouds’ is a means to encourage that guy to make a move on the girl he’s been getting close to.

CeeLo Green Makes Offensive Rape Statements, Deletes Twitter Account
CeeLo Green got himself into a bit of hot water over Labor Day Weekend.
After he pleaded no contest to one felony count of giving ecstasy to a woman at a Los Angeles bar two years ago, the rapper-singer took to Twitter on Sunday (Aug. 31) and voiced some very strong opinions regarding rape, which he then quickly deleted along with the rest of his Twitter account.
The woman at the center of the case claimed that she was having sushi dinner with the Goodie Mob member and then woke up in his bed naked without any recollection of what happened between dinner and that moment. As a result, CeeLo was charged with furnishing her with ecstasy as well as a charge of rape, which his lawyer refuted because the former ‘The Voice’ judge said that the sex was consensual.
With news of his no contest plea out, CeeLo ranted a bit via Twitter, which you can see below. “If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent,” he wrote, among other statements that offended more than a few people.
Billboard reports that he eventually issued an apology on the social media network yesterday (Sept. 1) as a result of what he says are his comments being “taken so far out of context.”
“Let me 1st praise god for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context… I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it was your support that got me thru this to begin with. I’d never condone the harm of any women. Thank you,” CeeLo wrote in a tweet, which has since been deleted.
His official Twitter account was deleted but not before a fair amount of people grabbed screenshots of the messages to share around the internet. CeeLo’s account is currently back up and running, minus those statements he made.
Chris Brown Pleads Guilty in Washington, DC Assault Case
After rejecting two plea deals regarding an assault charge, Chris Brown has finally plead guilty to punching a man outside of a hotel in Washington, D.C., last year.
Not only did the singer take the guilty plea, he also apologized to the judge in a D.C. court earlier this morning (Sept. 2) about his actions during the 2013 assault.
Matt DelSignore, a reporter for All-News 99.1 WNEW, took to Twitter to share what was happening during the court proceedings.
Brown was also sentenced to the two days that he already served in jail during the case. There will be no “revocation of probation” in this case. However, the ‘X’ creator will continue to be on probation in California until 2015.
According to NBC4 Washington’s Mark Segraves, Breezy will also be paying a $150 court fee.
At least Brown can finally call this a case closed and deal with other pressing matters like the release of his sixth album, ‘X.’ The project will arrive on Sept. 16, after being delayed several times due to the entertainer’s legal issues. Songs like his chart-topping hit ‘Loyal,’ the Rick Ross and Usher-assisted ‘New Flame’ and the title track will appear on the effort.
