Future Terrorizes Haters on 'Monster'
Despite being dogged by reports that his relationship with Ciara is over, Future drops a new single called ‘Monster’ today (Aug. 19).
On the song, the Astronaut Kid proclaims he’s a monster when it comes to collecting money and women on the daily.
“I’m a monster on these hoes, I’m a monster / I can’t be scared of none of you n—-s y’all some snitches,” he raps, adding, “I’m a young brotha / Ain’t worried about karma / And I’m just living my life and I’ma get me some money.”
The track boasts some eerie productions including a melancholy flute riff provided by track masters Metro Boomin and Southside.
‘Monster is expected to appear on the rapper’s upcoming mixtape, due out in October. Contrary to previous reports, the project is not called ‘Evol.’
Meanwhile, watch Future’s ‘I’m Just Being Honest’ documentary, which showcases the Atlanta rhymer’s journey with his latest project ‘Honest.’ Music mogul L.A. Reid, as well as rappers Busta Rhymes, Pharrell Williams and Pusha T make cameos in the film. Watch it below.

Jennifer Hudson Releases Anthemic Love Song 'Dangerous'
Jennifer Hudson is a ride-or-die chick on her latest single, ‘Dangerous.’ It’s a groovy anthem that finds the Oscar-winning songbird making a firm statement: when it comes to her man, she’ll do anything for love.
The song has a disco-feel to it. In fact, it’s the perfect song to do the two-step to at a summer yacht party. On it, Hudson describes herself as Bonnie to her man’s Clyde.
“Think we’re running from the cops now / Even if we get caught now / Anything for you / Hold my body up for ransom / Because I want to get my hands on you,” she sings.
On the chorus, she adds, “I do it for the thrill, even if it kills / Dangerous, you make me feel dangerous.”
In other news, Hudson is slated to perform on the CBS special ‘Fashion Rocks‘ on Sept. 9.

‘Hot Box,’ Bobby Brackins‘ ode to smoking and chilling, receives a visual after dropping just last week. Mila J and G-Eazy don’t make appearances in the lyric video, but a model who likes recreational marijuana use takes up most of the screen time.
It’s actually pretty impressive how cognizant the redheaded diva is throughout the clip with the amount of smoke she’s exhaling. This goes for whether she’s inside a car, laying on a pool float or hanging out by the house. She lays off the weed by the end of the video though. Brackins only makes a short appearance.
Will the video help push the single further into mainstream view? Only time will tell.

Kelela Details How She Likes It on 'OICU' Featuring Le1f
Summer might be coming to a close, but Kelela is continuing to turn up the heat with her new track, ‘OICU.’
Collaborating with NYC-based rapper Le1f, Kelela sings over a P Morris-produced beat that’s full of different drum patterns yet it’s still light enough not to overpower her airy vocals.
Similar to the fluidity of ‘The High,’ which she released earlier this year, ‘OICU’ is clearly detailing her insatiable appetite in the bedroom.
“I waited all night, baby / And I’m feelin’ like another round / And the white bites got me crazy / And my body’s so impatient now / Baby, things have changed since I saw you last time / You been doing your thing and you see me doing mine,” she sings.
She continues to lure her man — in this case Le1f — to get in her car and go home with her. But before she takes that step, her playful lyrics in the pre-chorus prove that she’s not as innocent as her light vocals could make her out to be.
“It could be so amazing / All we need is one night / If you let your guard down baby / You’ll survive the fight,” she coos.
This is the latest release following her debut mixtape, ‘CUT 4 ME,’ earlier this year. We have no doubt that she has more tracks up her sleeve after this one, but in the meantime, listen to ‘OICU’ below.

Australian sneaker brand Le Coq Sportif may not be on your radar when it comes to sneaker copping, but the brand is synonymous with hip-hop and fashion. DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince as well as LL Cool J were some of the early adopters of the sportswear brand.
Le Coq Sportif’s latest collaboration with Aussie sneaker retailer Highs and Lows (HAL) salutes the country’s native birds — the black swan (aka cygnus atratus) and the white swan, which is the universal symbol of love and the Russian ballet.
The shoe features a red perforated leather upper (to represent the beak) with matching suede paneling around the toe box. It continues with black or white side paneling and yellow leather accent on the heels. The branding of Highs and Lows and the Le Coq Sportif “rooster” logo are featured on the tongue and insole of the shoes.
Both kicks will be available on Aug. 23 at High and Lows store in Perth as well as Le Coq Sportif flagship store in Sydney. Other retailers like Up There Store, Laced and Hanon shop will also have them. An international release at select Le Coq Sportif retailers is scheduled for Sept. 6.
