2 Chainz biggest fan Scott was more than happy to meet the rapper for the third time at a recent show in Oakland.
The rapper shared his meet and greet with Scott on YouTube and signed multiple pairs of his Adidas shoes. In the video, he praises the rapper he calls "a hero" and promises never to sell the shoes since he will be buried in them.
"Gonna have them forever, I ain't going nowhere but to the grave with these motherfuckers." he boasts. "I don't care how much he charges [for a show] I will always be there...I just met my hero I just met the guy that means more to me than my own father."

A West Virginia Pizza Hut was forced to shutter its doors after surveillance camera footage caught a district manager relieving himself in the kitchen sink.
While the incident occurred after business hours, it still constituted a major violation of the health code. A sign on the door of the eatery says it was closed because "conditions within the establishment constituting a substantial hazard to the public health," and it could be some time before the restaurant reopens.

In an interview with GQ, Lebron James covered many misconceptions people have about him including how he's changed, being selfish, and his move to Miami.
James says that he plays fair on the court even though he knows that he can score more on his own.
"Like, I could average thirty-five points a game if I really wanted to," he says. "But then—it wouldn't be me. So I don't know if I could do it, because of my instincts. I see a teammate open—even if I have a great shot—I see a teammate open for a better shot, I gotta feed him."

Jen Murphy, the author of a Feb. 18 Wall Street Journal article about Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek, was apparently unfamiliar with the Georgia emcee. The article explores Celek's off-season workout habits and diet, and at one part lists some of his favorite exercise music.

Compton rapper Game may be known for menacing rhymes, but lately he's been showing a different side, giving back through his charity, The Robin Hood Project.

Diddy appeared on the 1997 original as both performer and executive producer. Not coincidentally, he produces on ‘Nobody’ and takes on the reins as executive producer of Rozay’s entire ‘Mastermind’ album.
“Diddy is one of the greatest producers of all time and someone I respect,” said Ross in a press release. “He has a proven track record of not only creating hit records but also classic albums. It just made sense for me to have him be a part of this process.”

The 2014 BRIT Awards welcomed a bevy of stars to London’s O2 Arena Wednesday (Feb. 19), including Beyonce, who did a surprise performance of ‘XO’ for the British audience.
The set is a sharp contrast from her ‘Drunk in Love’ performance at the Grammy Awards last month, where she wore a more revealing outfit while showing off some scandalous moves. This time her beauty was more front and center while she wore a glistening turquoise dress.
“I’d like to dedicate this performance to my incredible fans. I love y’all,” the 32-year-old songstress exclaims.
‘XO’ was a fitting song for this Beyonce performance. Her self-titled album has a lot of strong tracks, and although ‘Drunk in Love’ is unquestionably the most popular of the project, ‘XO’ definitely does have the most arena-filling potential. She performed the song for the first time live at a Chicago show in December 2013.
Beyonce is going to be performing overseas for a while. She continues her Mrs. Carter Show World tour tomorrow (Feb. 20) in Glasgow, Scotland.
Meshell Ndegeocello finds inspiration everywhere — in books, conversations, images and of course, music. Her own music is so difficult to label because it has so many disparate influences. One such influence is Nick Drake, the British singer-songwriter and musician. Drake, lauded for his poetic and personal acoustic music was on the verge of stardom when he committed suicide in 1974 at the age of 26, ending a long bout with depression.
For one of her Off The Record covers Ndegeocello chose to perform ‘Pink Moon,’ the title track of Drake’s final album. According to her, the song reflects both the beauty of his work and the sadness in his soul:
“I love Nick Drake and there’s something haunting about him and the song and just it’s circular motion is entrancing to me … It’s just a song I like to play. No other reason. Plus it’s fascinating, he had so much going for him and he was about to experience some great fame and he just outed himself so I guess it fascinates me what could propel a person to do that. That must’ve been an intense sadness.”

With Schoolboy Q gearing up for his album Oxymoron, the rapper addresses rumors that began when 50 Cent posted a picture on his Instagram page, excited to be on the T.D.E. member's major label debut.
In an interview with Rap-Up, the rapper says the song the two worked on didn't make the album. "He's not on my album, but I would have loved for him to be on my album," he said. "We did a record. I know what record he's talking about, but that didn't make the album."

With days until the release of ScHoolboy Q‘s debut album, ‘Oxymoron,’ the TDE rapper gives us a taste of one of the project’s most anticipated tracks. Today, Q unleashes a lyrical back-and-forth with Raekwon called ‘Blind Threats.’
“Life on the edge, hell a block away / Pretty Snow White turned eight today / Selling that base, no Dr. Dre,” Q raps about his life of crime.
The Wu-Tang Clan legend comes in on the third verse. “Cause I’m a suit case king / Cooling at the gambling spot with a screwed face grin / No wage bet, we stay winning, play it again, yo / Put the bone in your jaw, now say it again,” Raekwon delivers.
‘Oxymoron’ arrives Feb. 25 and will feature collaborations with Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz, among others. 50 Cent thought he was going to be on the effort, but Q has since revealed that the G-Unit head won’t appear on the LP.

There are very few things sexier than R. Kelly‘s performance of ‘Ignition (Remix).’ Jimmy Fallon performing it with the Barbershop Quartet definitely isn’t one of them, but it is funnier.
Fallon follows up the ‘Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing‘ in the first episode of his ‘Tonight Show’ hosting duties with a warmly sung rendition of the hit song with the Ragtime Gals. Instead of a performance featuring mink coats, basketball jerseys and scantily-clad women, we get Fallon and friends in striped suits and bow ties. It’s a fair trade-off, no?

Former music executive James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond is presently on trial for the murder of G-Unit affiliate Lowell Fletcher back in 2009. 50 Cent recently took to Instagram and implied that Henchman is cooperating with authorities:

Rosemond's publicist, Sibrena Stowe de Fernandez, reached out to AllHipHop.com to issue an official statement about the press coverage of the case. Fernandez also addressed allegations of "snitching" on the part of Rosemond.
"As James Rosemond's publicist and as I weigh in on media commentary regarding Mr. Rosemond's new trial I only have to say that I'd like for the media to remember Mr. James Rosemond is currently in the middle of a trial and I'd like for him to be afforded a fair trial and not have it played out in the media which can and in my opinion has influenced his last sentencing.
I read what a certain rapper and music mogul wrote on twitter and he too is entitled to his opinion but it doesn't make the information that he tweeted correct because as I remember the last trial, Mr. Rosemond never testified in court against anyone and so the term, "snitching" shouldn't apply to him. I don't recall this music mogul/rapper or anyone from that camp at the last trial and so the information that he allegedly tweeted is not accurate information. Let's let the trial play out and let's see what the verdict is. There are folks who are testifying in this trial and they're looking at a lot of time and so let's see how it plays out."

NBA legend Bill Russell expressed his disappointment in current superstar Lebron James' picks for a "Mt. Rushmore of Basketball" list.
Lebron sat down with Steve Smith to name his top 4 ball players of all time, comparable to the influential presidents carved in stone. Easily Lebron choose his top 3 in Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird, but had some trouble with the fourth, settling on Oscar "The Big O" Robinson.
Russell's stats are beyond impressive, and he felt the need to let his legendary status be known at the NBA All-Star Game.
"Hey, thank you for leaving me off your Mount Rushmore. I'm glad you did. Basketball is a team game, it's not for individual honors. I won back-to-back state championships in high school, back-to-back NCAA championships in college. I won an NBA championship my first year in the league, an NBA championship in my last year, and nine in between. That, Mr. James, is etched in stone."
Russell did however make Kobe Bryant's top 4 (along with Johnson, Jordan and Bird), which Bryant revealed at a press conference during All-Star Weekend.

The 20th anniversary of Nas’ classic 1994 album ‘Illmatic’ is being celebrated with a new documentary titled ‘Time Is Illmatic,’ which will premiere at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.
The documentary will kick off the prestigious New York film festival on April 16.
The doc, directed by multimedia auteur One9 and written by journalist Erik Parker, will recount the story behind the making of ‘Illmatic’ 20 years ago. The album, which was released on April 19, 1994, is, undoubtedly, one of the most important recordings in hip-hop history.
The film will also focus on Nas’ personal journey from a young street poet from Queens, N.Y., to becoming the genre’s most influential lyricist.
“I want to thank the Tribeca Film Festival for supporting the film with the incredible platform they’ve built over the years,” said Nas in a press release. “It’s an honor to premiere this film in my hometown. I also want to thank One9 and Erik Parker for their persistence and hard work. Those guys and I come from the same place and era, which gives the doc an authenticity that is important to me. We wanted this film to represent the real, from the storyline all the way down to the directors and producers.”
Following the screening, Nas will perform ‘Illmatic’ in its entirety.
Prior to the documentary’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, Sony Legacy will release ‘Illmatic XX,’ a special 20th anniversary edition of the classic album, on April 15.
The Tribeca Film Festival will run from April 16 to 27. Tickets for the festival will go on sale March 3 at Tribecafilm.com.
It might seem like adidas is taking the 50th anniversary celebration of the Stan Smiths way too far. Almost every week there’s a Stan Smith collaboration being released. However, these slick black Stan Smith editions from Mastermind JAPAN really caught our eye.
Part of the consortium releases, these Stan Smith x Mastermind JAPAN versions feature a premium black leather upper with an “X” perforation all around the shoe except for the toe box.

Jimmy Fallon's tonight show debuted with huge guests and big performances.
Fallon began his show with his first guest, Will Smith. The two came together for the skit "Evolution Of Hip-Hop Dance" where they cover everything from 'The Carlton' to 'The Stanky Legg.' Other special cameos included Kim Kardashian, Tracy Morgan, Lady Gaga and more.

20 years after Nas' masterful debut "Illmatic" hit the shelves, a new documentary about the Queensbridge rapper, "Time Is Illmatic," will kick off the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.
This will be the second year in a row that a music festival will open the festival. Last year, "Mistaken for Strangers," a doc about the indie band The National, launched the fest, with the group giving a performance after the premiere. This year, Nas will perform "Illmatic" from beginning to end following the April 16 screening of "Time Is Illmatic."

Pharrell Williams recently announced that he's releasing his second solo album, "G I R L," on March 3.
The 10-song LP will feature the "Despicable Me 2" slam dunk "Happy," which made it to #1 on iTunes.

"One was the sense of overwhelming honor that I felt when I realized that they were interested in partnering with me on the album that I had always dreamt of making. When ‘Worst Behavior’ comes on, not even Drake can control himself. The Toronto rapper and his hip-hop BFF Diddy got involved in some friendly horsing around at the All-Star Game in New Orleans over the weekend. When the club banger came on, Drake got so excited that he actually snatched the microphone away from Diddy.
XXL reports that the ‘Nothing Was the Same’ creator got so amped up while performing his song in the club that he yanked the nearest microphone he could find when his own failed. The one he decided to snatch just so happened to be in the hands of Diddy. Never one to miss a beat, the Bad Boy impresario just bopped around for a second and quickly picked up another mic that was quickly rolled his way.
Drake and Diddy were also spotted sitting court side at the actual All-Star Game Sunday night (Feb. 16). The OVO leader and his boys hung out with Diddy and his sons, as well as rapper Meek Mill.
During a promotional interview with blogger Cherise Nicole, "BBWLA" ladies Sundy Carter, Brittish Williams and Jackie Christie played a self-explanatory game called "Baller or Busted." At one point, fellow cast member Draya Michele gets called "fake" by Sundy.

Former Bad Boy vixens Danity Kane may be giving reality TV another shot. Since the initial announcement of their reunion at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, the now four person group has hit the road and the studio, building up anticipation for a future release.
First suspicions of a new reality series sparked when designer David Giampiccolo posted a pic of member Dawn Richard on Instagram wearing one of his designs along with the caption:
"Dawn Richard wearing the SCHIZO sweater for E tv show."
Now Aubrey O'Day has hinted at a televised reunion.
"We are always filming something," the 30-year-old singer told MTV News. "The group would love to share the next phase of what we're going through. And it's a lot. It's definitely TV-worthy."
Regardless if a TV show ever does come to fruition, fans still anticipate new material. Aubrey also addressed the hold up with new music, saying the group wants to be certain not to make the same mistakes twice.
"There's going to be new music this year, released to the fans, absolutely. How we do it and in what form is still being discussed, and you know, we have deals on the table, we have all kinds of interesting opportunities, we're trying not to make the same mistakes that we got caught in the first time around, so it's requiring us to move slowly. It's requiring us to think out of the box and take bigger risks and getting to that point sometimes takes time."

CLAE footwear has just released their lookbook for their early Spring 2014 collection. Judging by the selection, the footwear company knows how do bring functionality and fashion together in a pair of shoes.
Among the highlights of their collection are the four pair of kicks — the Ellington, the Russell 07 and the Arthur.
The Ellington is a casual boot that boasts the Vibram cushiony sole that will make your feet feel like they are walking on soft pillows. The shoe comes in a two colors including cinnamon suede (pictured, above) and a black leather.
The second pair of kicks are the Russell 07, which have been designed with an angular 07 outsole with a perforated leather upper and a translucent outsole.
Finally, the Arthur is your traditional court sneaker with its lightweight brown EVA sole and leather upper.
In addition to those kicks, CLAE’s other silhouettes — the Chambers, Gordon and Rogers — are available in an assortment of colors.

YG‘s ‘My Krazy Life’ is on its way. Although there’s no confirmed tracklist, the album cover has finally been revealed.
The cover portrays the album’s mantra through a simple black-and-white shot of YG. A placard hangs around the rapper’s neck with the album’s title on it. This is a new age mugshot. Of course, there’s a bunch of craziness that probably went down that leads to his “krazy life,” but it’s possible the cover refers to YG’s six months in jail for burglary.
As for what’s on the album, ‘My Hitta’ and the Drake-featured ‘Who Do You Love?’ should make appearances. ‘My Krazy Life’ will drop on March 18.
Pharrell Williams isn’t resting after ending 2013 strong and starting off 2014 with a Producer of the Year Grammy win. He still has plenty more to give at the age of 40, and his latest offering will be a new solo album, ‘G I R L.’
The producer announced the release with a dramatic teaser. In the visual, Pharrell is seen conducting a string section, giving a variety of intense looks and silently shedding a tear. Sadly, the Hat doesn’t make an appearance. That’s not too much of an issue since it looks like this album is going to be an epic project.
The trailer also revealed the album artwork, which features Pharrell and three girls posturing behind sunglasses. The title’s font isn’t unlike the one seen on posters and the title card of the HBO series of the same name.
There isn’t much information as far as song titles and collaborators go yet. ‘G I R L’ is available for pre-order on iTunes, and the webpage reveals there are 10 tracks. ‘Happy,’ which is currently No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the highest-charting Oscar-nominated song ever, will be featured on the LP.
The Virginia native will perform ‘Happy’ at the Oscars (March 2), which is a day before ‘G I R L’ arrives on March 3.
Later this year, he’ll also head out alongside Bruno Mars for the Moonshine Jungle tour on select dates.
Kanye West is reportedly working with ‘American Psycho’ writer Bret Easton Ellis on an new film. In an interview with Vice, Ellis says the project is still in development and it’s up to West to make it happen.
When asked about the collaborative venture, Ellis said, “You know what, I can’t. It’s in Kanye Land, and that’s subject to a whole other time frame.”
“He came and asked me to write the film. I didn’t want to at first,” he continued. “Then I listened to ‘Yeezus.’ It was early summer last year and I was driving in my car. He’d given me an advance copy, and I thought, regardless of whether I’m right for this project, I want to work with whoever made this. So fuck it, I said yes. And that’s how it happened. That was seven or eight months ago. We’ll see what happens.”
The 49-year-old writer also spoke highly of the mercurial artist.
“I really like him as a person,” Ellis said of West. “I know he comes off in this performance-art way in the press, but if you’re just alone with him in a room talking for three hours, it’s kind of mind-blowing.”
West has collaborated with Ellis on a few previous ventures. The G.O.O.D. Music leader recreated a scene from ‘American Pyscho’ for his ‘Yeezus‘ trailer. He also created music for the Ellis-penned 2013 flick ‘The Canyons’ and for the author’s’ own podcast.
Meanwhile, the MC is working on a much bigger project at the moment — planning his upcoming nuptials and reception with his fiancée Kim Kardashian.
Brian McKnight is in tax trouble and he’s blaming his accountant. The R&B crooner filed a lawsuit against an accounting firm for allowing him to be in debt with the Internal Revenue Service.
According to TMZ, McKnight is suing Vernon Brown and his firm for allegedly ruining his life by failing to pay the IRS any taxes on his behalf for almost a decade. McKnight claims that he now owes Uncle Sam $1.5 million in back taxes including penalties and interest.
The lawsuit also states that McKnight knew he was in tax trouble so he reached out to Congressman Henry Waxman in private to help him out. Waxman contacted the IRS and was able to get McKnight back on an installment plan.
But the 44-year-old singer alleges that Vernon Brown was so incompetent that he screwed up the installment plan and the debt was never paid.
McKnight says his credit is ruined, his house has a lien and his music royalties have been frozen. He also claims that his driver’s license is suspended and because his son shares his name, his license was suspended as well.
No information was provided on what type of punitive damages McKnight is seeking in this case.
McKnight joins a list of celebrities who have fallen into tax debt, including Fat Joe, Lauryn Hill and Faith Evans, among others.
