NickI Minaj likes teasing fans on Instagram with thirst traps and details on her personal life. This time it’s with the latter, and it again involves Maybach Music Group’s hottest rapper.
Her possible romantic relationship with Meek Mill has been a subject of the rumor mill for some time. Minaj has posted pics of her getting cuddly with the ‘B-Boy’ rhymer while denying that they have anything going on. The latest development is the caption-less Instagram picture you see above. Yes, that’s Meek Mill hugging and kissing on Nicki Minaj.
Does this confirm that they’re officially in a relationship? That’s a strong perhaps. But there is one thing that’s clear: Minaj sure does look happy in this picture. Looks like her post-Safaree Samuels life isn’t going so bad.

Suge Knight Charged With Murder and Attempted Murder
Things went from bizarre to bleak for Suge Knight over the past few days. He’s been formally charged right after his $2 million bail was revoked.
After LAPD officials obtained video of the incident, the former Death Row CEO is charged with murder for running over and killing his friend, Terry Carter, last Thursday (Jan. 29). The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office formally filed the charges, TMZ reports. Knight also was hit with attempted murder for also injuring Cle “Bone” Sloan with his vehicle. The other felonies include attempted premeditated murder, hit and run resulting in death and hit and run resulting in injury.
James Blatt, Knight’s attorney, argued that his client was trying to escape an attack by two men, as he was still in frail health after suffering from blood clots last November. Blatt argues Carter’s death and Sloan’s injuries were accidents.
Knight turned himself over to police on Friday (Jan. 30) and is scheduled to appear in Compton court on Tuesday. If he is convicted of the charges, the 49-year-old faces life in jail.

Vineyards and basketball courts come together for this latest Nike Kobe 10 colorway and it is absolutely intoxicating. The sneaker is really proving itself to be a winner out of the gate and themes like this are the deciding factor.
The mesh build on this pair really allows for a lot of interplay between colors and in turn, the sneakers have an almost gradient feel to them. Shades of orange, gold and purple weave throughout the upper while the tongue and laces vibrantly pop with purple.
We don’t have a release date for these yet, but as the saying goes, “no wine will be served before it’s time.” All we can do at this point is wait until the Nike Kobe 10 ‘Merlot’ is properly aged.

Missy Elliott's iTune Sales and Spotify Streams Surge Following Super Bowl Halftime Performance
A little known fact about Sunday’s halftime show is that Katy Perry didn’t get paid for her performance. It’s very likely Missy Elliott didn’t either, but that doesn’t look like too big of an issue. She definitely benefited from the exposure.
Fans realized they wanted more of Missy after the Super Bowl. Spotify says that her catalog streams had a 676 percent spike from before kickoff to shortly after the Super Bowl. ‘Lose Control,’ one of the three songs Missy Elliott performed, experienced the largest increase at 1,396 percent.
Elliott didn’t just come up when it comes to free streaming. By Monday (Feb. 2) afternoon, ‘Get Ur Freak On,’ ‘Lose Control’ and ‘Work It’ — the three songs she performed — were three of the top nine songs on iTunes.
The numbers would ideally put further impetus on Missy Elliott to put out new music. She hasn’t released a new album since 2005′s ‘The Cookbook.’ Her recent tweet shows she’s at least feeling the love.

Suge Knight's Bail Revoked, Considered a Possible Flight Risk
Things are not looking too good for Suge Knight. After being arrested last week for a fatal hit-and-run that left one dead and another injured, his $2.2 million bail has been revoked.
Billboard obtained the information from a spokeswoman at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, who states Knight is considered a flight risk. With his past issues with the law as well as “possible witness intimidation,” he is viewed as a “three-strike candidate” in California and could face a harsher sentence. This is due to the fact he’s already been convicted of multiple violent crimes.
Knight’s lawyer, James Blatt, is currently working on the situation. Hours after the tragic incident, Blatt claimed his client was involved in an accident as a result of the altercation. “He was in the process of being physically assaulted by two men and in an effort to escape he unfortunately hit two (other) individuals,” he told The Associated Press. “He was in his car trying to escape.”
On Jan. 29, the Death Row Records co-founder arrived to the ‘Straight Outta Compton’ movie set in Compton to reportedly meet with Dr. Dre to squash their past beef. However, instead he was allegedly attacked at the location once he exited his vehicle. Knight retreated back to his truck, which he drove in reverse and ran over two men — killing one. He turned himself in hours later and was arrested and charged with murder.

While we usually catch ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ during the week, the comedian and late-night host filmed a special edition of the show last night (Feb. 1). To make the event even more spectacular, he enlisted some of our favorite stars including Ariana Grande, Sam Smith and Usher to take part in a cover of Queen’s ‘We Are the Champions.’
Filmed like the opening credits of ‘The Brady Bunch,’ the colorful clip starts off with Fallon and the Roots, who provide the vocal rhythm and musical foundation for the classic song. After Fallon does his part, Carrie Underwood joins in, followed by other artists including Meghan Trainor, One Direction, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton.
As the track progresses, we see more and more of the participants in their cute, brightly colored little sections putting their own spin on the lyrics. And if you listen a little harder, you’ll hear Ariana and Christina kind of go for the title in the vocal Olympics with all their belted runs.
With the Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 8), this is a nice precursor to see what happens when artists come together on epic songs. If only they would actually do this one live, now that would really be a sight to see.

After performing at DirecTV’s Pre-Super Bowl Party on Saturday night (Jan. 31), Kanye West and wifey Kim Kardashian stayed in Arizona to watch the big game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. However, it didn’t look like the rapper was the happiest person Sunday night (Feb. 1). Every selfie football fans took with him showcased Yeezus looking miserable.
People walking by couldn’t pass up taking selfies with Kanye as him and Kardashian sat in the prime seats at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., . While he (thankfully) didn’t refuse to be in the photos, he also didn’t look too pleased to take them either — as we see in the photo above.

Despite the fact that he’s not cheesing in any of the snapshots, Kanye isn’t necessarily unhappy. When he gave a speech during the Fashion Los Angeles Awards last month, he explained why he doesn’t like to show off his pearly whites in photos.
“Back when I was working on Yeezus, I saw this book from the 1800s and it was velvet-covered with brass and everything,” he said. “I looked at all these people’s photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren’t smiling and people, you know the paparazzi, always come up to me, ‘Why you not smiling?’ and I think, not smiling makes me smile…When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling cause it just wouldn’t look as cool.”
Spoken in true Kanye style, the man is clearly not as miserable as we originally thought; he’s just trying to recreate the masterpieces from the past. While we’re not sure how to actually take that comment, below are some more examples of Kanye’s artsy “sad” facial expression.
