Luke James Delivers Sensual Ballad 'Dancing in the Dark'
After wowing fans with his tender reworking of Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me,’ Luke James returns with a sensual ballad titled ‘Dancing in the Dark.’
Not to be confused with the Bruce Springsteen classic, the song features James yearning for his lady to shower him with her love.
Over a fist-pounding beat, the crooner utilizes his falsetto to get his message across.
“I’m reaching for the parts, you are afraid to show / Let your love come down, let it overflow,” he sings, adding, “What you’re feeling now / No, you are not alone.”
‘Dancing in the Dark’ is expected to appear on James’ upcoming self-titled album, which is due Sept. 23. The collection also features the emotional ballad ‘Options‘ featuring Rick Ross.
In our Boombox interview, James requests two things from his fans when his full-length album eventually arrives in stores. “Be open-minded. Give me a shot,” he said.

The shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown has generated a huge reaction from the hip-hop community. Rappers Nelly, Killer Mike and J. Cole are just some of the celebrities who’ve addressed the tragedy in Ferguson, Mo.
Earlier this week, T.I. wrote an open letter about the shooting of Brown as well. Now the Atlanta rhymer follows that up with a passionate song titled ‘New National Anthem.’
Over a marching drum roll, Tip raps about police brutality, racism and disparity in the criminal justice system affecting the black youth.
“Homicide he’ll ride, they’ll put him on trial / Let him have a life sentence then do it with a smile / And he only 19, he ain’t even had a child / As a child, told his mama he’ll be gone for a while / And she cried, still they just put him inside / Now she all on her own because her other son died / Listen to the politician as he lied and he lied / He a snake in a suit, trying to hide in disguise,” he raps.
Singer Skylar Grey provides the yearning hook, singing, “Home of the brave and free / Free just to murder me / Land of the beautiful / Cursed by the hate we throw.”
Props to T.I. for releasing a powerful song that deserves a patriotic salute.

The Weeknd Goes All Night in NSFW 'Often' Video
Ladies, don’t expect to sleep when in company of The Weeknd. The crooner plans to go all night with the opposite sex in the dimly lit visual for his new single ‘Often.’
Inside a hotel room, the ‘Kiss Land’ creator moves around the posh digs — from smoking on the bed to gazing out the window — seemingly in a sex-driven trance. “I usually love sleeping all alone / This time around bring your friend witcha / But we ain’t really gonna sleep at all,” he croons on the slow jam.
He’s a voyeur to the festivities as women pop up throughout the 4-minute clip — some even locking lips with each other. But one blonde beauty grabs The Weeknd’s attention, leading him downstairs to handle more private affairs.
‘Often’ is sure to be one of the tracks The Weeknd performs on his forthcoming four-city King of the Fall tour. With Jhene Aiko and Schoolboy Q, the Toronto native will hit New York (Sept. 19), Toronto (Sept. 21), Los Angeles (Oct. 9) and San Francisco (Oct. 10).

Puma Suede Angora 'Ribbon Red'
Upon first glance at this pair of Puma Suede Angora’s may look like an homage to Elmo but alas there is no fancy Sesame Street x Puma collaboration on deck. This is simply the product of some great nappy suede and a vibrant hue.
Ribbon red is the colorway and if the texture used on this one wasn’t sensory overload enough surely the saturation of that red upper is. White accents appear in all the places you’d expect and the grade of the suede goes back to normal on the formstripe as well but the lining and tongue tag get hit with light tanned leather for a bit of extra quality.
These are available now at select Puma retailers in Japan and will probably not make it to the states at all. This will probably make you sad until you remember that you have the internet and can order them.

Talib Kweli Argues With Journalist Don Lemon About Ferguson Protests on CNN [VIDEO]
Rapper Talib Kweli had a Kanye moment during an interview with CNN journalist Don Lemon on Thursday (Aug. 21). It all started when the Brooklyn rhymer accused the news network of falsely portraying the events that occurred in Ferguson, Mo., during a peaceful rally. When Lemon interrupted him during the live broadcast to defend CNN’s reporting, that’s when the interview went left and a heated argument followed.
The conversation grew a bit contentious when Kweli and Lemon started arguing about not greeting each other before the segment. “You didn’t say nothing to me. You were on your phone the whole time. You asked how to pronounce my name,” recalled Kweli.
Then the heated talk segued into Kweli accusing Lemon of cutting him off as he tried to explain how the police allegedly attacked him and the protestors. “Let me say my piece at first then we can have a conversation,” he said.
Lemon was unsuccessful in keeping Kweli’s temper down. Thankfully, the pair did shake hands afterwards and when Lemon asked, “Are we cool?” Talib responded, “Emotions are flaring high, but we good.”
