Draya Threatens Her Haters On Instagram (@DrayaFace)

Reality star and businesswoman Draya Michele has dealt with her fair share of haters throughout 2014.

The stunning model is a fan favorite on Basketball Wives: LA, but the reality star manages to find herself the center of Internet hate. In May, Draya was roasted for her twerking skills, in April for sharing career tips and recently on Father's Day for her meal to her boyfriend Orlando Scandrick.

From the looks of her latest Instagram post, Draya has had enough of her haters. The model posted a statement on getting rid of her haters once and for all.

"Seriously, I can spare some followers," the post reads. "Please unfollow me with that negative s*** in my comments every day."

She captioned the photo with a lengthy response to her fake fans that attack her on Twitter and Instagram.

"No one follows you back for being an a****** in my comments, there's no pay, no lunch, nothing. I can't understand why you would follow people you hate and want to tear down so bad? .... I mean granted, there's people that I don't like (that I actually know, not people I never met that I hate like you guys) but I would never wanna see happy pics of them frolicking on the beach. I don't follow them, I don't type their names in the search bar... Id rather not see what sickens me... So why do y'all keep torturing yourself with me?????? Seriously. Answer here. Here's your forum, after this you getting the whole s*** blocked outta you tho"

Do you think she was too harsh on her critics or does she have a point?

Justin Bieber's Phone Robbery Case Dismissed (@justinbieber)

Justin Bieber's series of legal troubles, the singer has one less case to worry about.

According to TMZ, an L.A prosecutor dismissed a case involving a woman suing Justin for stealing her phone. A few weeks ago, the singer was with his entourage at a batting cage in the San Fernando Valley when the woman decided to take photos on her phone. The singer allegedly took the woman's phone and tried to delete the photos.

While the singer returned the phone back to the woman, she filed legal action anyway. The city attorney rejected the case due to lack of evidence.

The only case remaining on his file is the egg throwing case that resulted in $20,000 in damages to his neighbor's phone.

Kanye West on Steve Jobs, Samsung and His "Scared" Photographer (@kanyewest)

Kanye West, Steve Stoute, and venture capitalist Ben Horowitz spoke at the Cannes Lions Festival this morning and according to reports, Yeezy had a whole lot to say.

Kanye started off by comparing himself to Apple CEO Steve Jobs, saying he wants to have that kind of impact.

"Steve Jobs, as everyone knows, was my biggest influence. Just seeing the way he fought to make things easier for people. After he passed, I made it my life's mission to do what he did inside of that company," West said. "I dream to help raise the palette and raise the taste level of a generation and also be involved with the production and distribution and advertising of that thing everyone's begging for."

He also shared his thoughts on the new Beats/Apple deal, saying it's a great move for Apple, as they've lost touch with culture a bit since Jobs' passing. He also feels that Samsung's deal with Jay Z inspired the move.

He also got into why he's not a big fan of Samsung, saying that he strives to always work with the cream of the crop.

"The reason I said I didn't like Samsung particularly is because throughout my entire life, because of how my parents raised me, I have to work with the No. 1. I can't work with anyone but Jay Z, because he's No. 1. I can't be with any girl but Kim, because that's the girl whose pictures I look at the most and get turned on by. I'm not going to represent any company but Louis Vuitton, because that's No. 1. ... Samsung is not quite Apple, but it showed that Jimmy [Iovine] and Dre would be able to connect with the No. 1 influencers."

On a more personal note, he put famed photographer Annie Leibovitz on blast for backing out of shooting the Kimye wedding 2 days before the ceremony, saying he thinks she was scared of the fame that may come her way.

"Let me tell you something about that kiss photo that my girl put up ... this was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon, she was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out right before the wedding. I think that she was, like, scared of the idea of celebrity."

50 Cent isn't worried about his low album sales.

In an interview with Hartford's Hot 93.7, the rapper explains why he wasn't stressed about it.

"I know I can't actually have the success I've had in the past," 50 said. "It's impossible. [Animal Ambition?] This is the warm up. I put this record out to cut through the cloud of my audience's mind, success. Some people are not conditioned or prepared for success. And it's an adjustment. If you leave the environment thinking the exact same way you were in the environment, chances are you won't be successful. You have to make some adjustments as you actually go. Inquiring new information. Being exposed to different situations is what allows me to continue to do it, but if you don't do it you'll forget about it."

"You can't define another man's success. At the end of the day success is not about money and fame to me, 'cuz if it was I'd just be low balling ni**as, trying to get all the money and battles I could, but it's not about money or fame for my success."

Hollow also explains how he connected producer Mike Zombie with superstar Drake, whose collaboration brought about the smash single, "Started From The Bottom."

He then explained why he felt the need to shut down his Twitter account, saying that he didn't want to deal with people being judgmental.

"Twitter, you know you go to your messages and it's just a whole lot of people judging you, saying this, that about you. I'd rather be oblivious to that. Lil Wayne Avoids Houston Over Threat From Jas Prince? (@jprince713)

This past weekend, Drake gave it up to Houston, TX, with Houston Appreciation Weekend. While Drizzy was seen out and about throughout the city, his YMCMB boss Weezy was noticeably absent. Not that the two are expected to be everywhere together, but Wayne was actually scheduled to make an appearance and was a no-show.

Allegedly, Lil Wayne's absence has a whole lot to do with rap mogul Jas Prince, and his current girlfriend Christina Milian, who has allegedly been having inappropriate contact with Wayne. This set in motion rumors throughout the city that Jas Prince placed a "bounty" on Wayne's head, offering up $20k to any of his Houston goons who spot the "D'usse" rapper in the city and deliver the fade.

Check out flicks of Jas, Drizzy,& Ms. Milian at HAW above. Could this be the reason Weezy stayed out of Houston this weekend? Sound off below.

Back When Everything Was Alright

In 1992, Father MC returned with his second album, Close To You; and it was heralded by this lead single, "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." This was his big reunion with Jodeci. He made them famous with his (major label) debut single, "Treat Them Like They Want To Be Treated" in 1990. But since then they'd blown up in their own right. This was after "Stay" and Forever My Lady; Jodeci were two of R&B's biggest rising superstars, alongside Mary J. Blige, who'd also blown up by singing on Father's first album.

So when Father returned, everybody was asking if Jodeci and Mary were back, and indeed they were. Father MC released two singles off Close To You, first this one and then "One Nite Stand" with Mary. The downside was that Father was getting eclipsed by his back-up singers; and once he tried releasing an album without them, his career on Uptown/ MCA Records was done. But in 1992, who cared? Everybody was still working together and we were all happy.

"Everything" is produced by Mark Morales and Mark C. Rooney - in other words: Prince Markie Dee and the Soul Convention . This was the heyday for Markie Dee's smooth, R&B-heavy New Jack sounds, and Father MC's albums were the perfect fit. They'd done a big chunk of his debut album, including his three biggest singles, and the majority of Close To You. In fact, separating from the Fat Boy may've been as key to Father's downfall as separating from Mary and Jodeci.

But while the Soul Convention brought a lot of musicality and instrumentation to their records; there's not much to credit them with here, instrumentally, besides the core idea. Because on this record, they're sampling Chic's "Good Times." And they're basically using it exactly the same way The Sugar Hill Band replayed it in 1979, to the point where they could basically just be performing over the instrumental version of "Rapper's Delight" whole hog.

Of course, Mark and Mark also co-wrote the song (along with Hasan, also of the Soul Convention) and Father himself, so they presumably did more than just bring an old Sugarhill Records 45 into the studio. But here's where this record really falls short of their debut success - lyrically, it's not nearly as well written. I've talked about the impressive, even genuinely touching, songwriting show-cased in at least parts of "Treat Them Like They Want To Be Treated." Well, there's just none of that here. There's nothing particularly wrong with Father's rhymes here, mind you - he doesn't say anything stupid or cringe-worthy, which is a lot more than you can say for a lot of rap records today - he's basically just saying a lot of fluffy filler that amounts to nothing. This song isn't about anything except that Father and his boys are here and isn't that nice?

But the upshot is that giving "Rapper's Delight" a 90's new jack spin works wonderfully. It has a whole new life here, sounds great with its old school hand-claps and more modern (though still vintage) syrupy keys, and Jodeci kill it. Revisiting this song over twenty years later, and it's immediately evident why Jodeci were going on to a huge career outside of Father's shadow. They stand out far and above all the generic R&B singers you'd hear providing hooks and bridges on countless other rap songs of the decade.

The 12" single, besides coming in a glossy picture cover; also provides a couple extended mixes. There's your Radio Version, which is basically indistinguishable from the album version, and it's Instrumental. Then there's a Club Joint, which really extends the track, almost doubling its length. There's no new verses from Father, but a lot more of Jodeci and plenty more "Good Times." The Club Version has an Instrumental, too. And then, finally, there's the misleadingly titled Soul Convention Dub Joint. I say it's misleading, because it's really not a Dub Mix, but a full vocal version with all of Father's raps and Jodeci's singing. It's just... even a little bit longer than the Club Joint.

And for my money, The Soul Convention Dub Mix is also the ideal version of the song. It puts more of an emphasis on Jodeci. I mean, obviously they have to sing a lot more just to fill up the extra running time (we've gone from three and a half minutes to six and a half), but they also have a different acapella introduction and perform a few more routines, including some "baby yeah"'s sung in the style of "Treat Them Like They Want To Be Treated." Father's verses sound good just by virtue of them being rap verses that sound good over a track like this; but Jodeci are the absolute stars of this song, so turning this into a Jodeci monster cut that just happens to have some appearances by Father MC works to this record's advantage.

There's nothing especially different here. There's no version with a different sample set or versions by other big name producers. It's just one song spun out to longer versions. But in this case, that's enough. If you wanted to show somebody who'd never heard of Father MC, just what he was about; this encapsulates him perfectly. All of his strengths and why people bought his records back in the day, and his weaknesses and why he hasn't had the longevity of Kane or Biggie. Including the fact that Jodeci are totally stealing his show here.
