A dog may be a man’s best friend but every once in a while, he might get put in the friend zone by a woman. Just watch Rowlf the Dog’s video remix of Biz Markie’s classic 1989 song, ‘Just A Friend.’
In the hilarious clip, Rowlf, a character from ‘The Muppets,’ plays the piano as he sings (or barks?) his affection for Miss Piggy, who clearly has put him in the friend zone, and for good reason — she’s forever boo’d up with Kermit the Frog, duh.
Of course, Rowlf gets no play and sings the infectious chorus we all know and love: “You, you got what I need / But you say he’s just a friend and you say he’s just a friend / Oh baby! / You, you got what I need / But you say he’s just a friend and you say he’s just a friend.”
We don’t believe that Miss Piggy is creeping on her man, Kermit, but that’s besides the point. The video is the perfect pick-me-up if you’re feeling down.
Props to Adam Schleichkorn (aka Mylo the Cat) for creating another fantastic Muppet mash-up visual. His previous clips of Muppets performing classic rap tracks, including the Beastie Boys’ ‘So What’cha Want’ and Naughty By Nature’s ‘Hip-Hop Hooray,’ have gone viral on the Internet. This will surely do the same.

Kid Cudi Is Upset His Gay Kissing Scene Was Removed From 'James White' Film
We haven’t seen much of Kid Cudi‘s acting chops since his HBO series ‘How to Make it in America’ went off the air, but now you can catch him in the new film ‘James White,’ which is premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
The ‘Man on the Moon’ creator plays the best friend of lead character Christopher Abbott — he played Marnie’s boyfriend, Charlie, on the HBO show ‘Girls.’
Cudi’s character plays a gay man in the film. “When he comes out of the closet it’s not really a thing,” he told Billboard. “I think that’s something the world needs to see. ‘Cause it’s not a thing. We’re all equal.”
And when a guy-on-guy kissing scene in the film had to happen, Cudi reveals he had no problem puckering up. However, director Josh Mond cut the kissing scene, which was to Cudi’s disappointment. “I’m mad [the director] cut out my kissing scene with David,” he admitted. “We made out so many times, and it was good. That’s my only gripe.”
The Ohio native is currently working on his fifth album, ‘Man on the Moon III,’ and is set to star in the ‘Entourage’ film, which opens in June. The rhymer will play Ari Gold’s assistant. You can read Cudi’s Billboard interview here.

Sincere Show Hosts Justin Combs' Epic 21st Birthday Bash

Sam Smith to Pay Tom Petty Royalties for 'Stay With Me'
Sam Smith’s heartbreaking ballad ‘Stay With Me’ was, undoubtedly, one of the biggest songs of 2014. However, there was speculation that the piano melody sounds similar to Tom Petty’s 1989 tune ‘I Won’t Back Down.’ Well, it turns out Petty is now a co-writer of the Grammy-nominated single.
Smith’s reps cleared the air and sent the FADER a statement to inform them that the British crooner acknowledged the melodic similarities and agreed to revise the publishing on the single. So now the song is credited to Petty and Jeff Lynne (who also co-wrote ‘I Won’t Back Down’), as well as the original songwriters Smith, James Napier and William Phillips.
To be clear, Smith’s ‘Stay With Me’ having the same melodic riff as ‘I Won’t Back Down’ was purely coincidental and not a case of stealing or sampling. Occasionally, these things happen in the music business, but it’s very rare.
According to reports, Smith’s attorneys have agreed to pay Petty 12.5 percent royalty on the song, which means the rock veteran is going to get paid handsomely — and he didn’t even write a single lyric. Forget about a musical windfall, Petty has hit the lottery.
We also have to give props to Smith and Petty for solving this situation amicably without taking it to court.

Ne-Yo Flees From a Dangerous Lady on 'Run/An Island' Featuring Schoolboy Q
There are some women that are so beautiful they’re actually dangerous because they can easily tempt you to be unfaithful, which is what Ne-Yo sings about on his new song ‘Run’ featuring Schoolboy Q. There’s also a short poem at the end titled ‘An Island.’

This is the latest of a string of new songs released by Ne-Yo for his upcoming album, ‘Non-Fiction,’ which comes out tomorrow (Jan. 27). So far, he’s dropped songs like the T.I.-assisted ‘One More,’ the David Guetta-produced ‘Who’s Taking You Home’ and ‘Make It Easy,’ among others.

The Nike KD7 ‘Aunt Pearl’ is given an angelic feel thanks to the mid-foot straps being transformed into wings for this particular version of the shoe. The ornate fastener is so prominent that it actually distracts you from the sneaker’s subtle use of pink on the flywire, heel and heel tab. Feathered golden accents complete the cipher, making this model one of Durant’s more memorable sneaker moments.

Tyga Slapped With $4 Million Lawsuit From His Former Managers
Tyga is currently engaged in a label battle with Cash Money Records and now it looks like he will have to fight with attorneys in the legal system. The Los Angeles native is being sued by his former managers for services rendered.
C&J Management hit T-Raww with a $4 million lawsuit after the rapper fired them without proper cause in 2013. The management firm claims they were instrumental in getting Tyga signed to Cash Money Records in 2011. “[We turned him] from a relative nobody to a world known superstar,” reads the suit (via TMZ).
The ‘Rack City’ rapper is currently embrolied in a label tug-of-war with YMCMB and says they are preventing him from releasing his oft-delayed album, ‘The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.’
In the meantime, Tyga has teamed up with Chris Brown to release their collaborative project, ‘Fan of a Fan: The Album.’ The collection will arrive in stores on Feb. 24. You can check out the LP’s tracklisting here.
