T.I. Joins the Cast of Marvel's 'Ant-Man' Movie
It looks like T.I. is joining the Marvel universe. The rapper-actor has been added to the cast of the comic book giant’s next big-screen adaptation of ‘Ant-Man.’
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Peyton Reed-directed movie stars Paul Rudd as the title character who can shrink to a tiny ant while increasing in strength.
Tip joins an all-star cast that includes Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, John Slattery and former ‘The Wire’ star Wood Harris. Former ‘House of Cards’ actor Corey Stoll will play Ant-Man’s nemesis Yellow Jacket in the movie as well.
Principal photography has already started with production beginning very soon.
‘Ant-Man’ is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17, 2015. It’s one of the many films Marvel has planned to release next year including ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ which hits globally May 1, 2015.

Reebok takes a stab at their version of a Chicago Bulls colorway and the familiar BRED feel pops up on a model that we are excited to see back in population. The Reebok Pump Blacktop Battleground is the host and it does a great job conveying that BRED feel.
A leather upper gives these hoop shoes their rugged demeanor and the overall build suggests that they’d get you through a summer of hard balling on an asphalt court. The colorblocking gives red and white equal billing while black outlines the look with hits of marbled material snaking up the heel and onto the tongue.

Nicki Minaj turns up the heat with the promotion for her new single, ‘Anaconda.’ The rap queen posted a string of Instagram photos on Monday (Aug. 18), showcasing herself touching fellow Young Money artist Drake in places that men can only dream of.
In the pics, the Queen Barbz, dressed in black ripped leggings and stilettos, is giving Drizzy the ultimate lap dance. Minaj is pretty much all over Drake as he uses his incredible willpower to refrain from touching her.
The Canadian rapper wears a T-shirt with “6ix” on his sleeve, which represents the title of his next album, ‘Views From the 6,’ due out next year. We also see him wearing a pair of Air Jordan 3 PEs kicks that are causing sneakerheads to become hypebeasts.
The photos will certainly re-ignite rumors that Nicki Minaj and Drake are an item but we think they are just being playful for the camera.
In the end, we have to say that Drake is one lucky guy.

Khloe Kardashian Understands French Montana Wants to 'Capitalize' on Their Relationship
When French Montana decided to open up and share his honest feelings about how he’s enjoying the fame he’s received since he began dating his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, we thought she wouldn’t be too happy about his statements. However, the reality TV star isn’t fazed by what he hopes to get out of the relationship.
In an interview with Billboard, French reveals that he wants to use Khloe’s fame to help push his own career forward, and he’s not ashamed of it.
“I want to capitalize on it,” Montana told Billboard. “I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on.”
Now with a comment like that, some women might think twice about continuing on with the relationship. But Khloe is actually OK with it and shared her thoughts on Twitter early Sunday morning.
Well, it’s good to know that she’s in the loop and even better news that she’s fine with her man’s frame of mind. However, her patience may not last forever. Guess we’ll have to wait and see how this pans out.

Lil Wayne and Drake Complete ALS Ice Bucket Challenge [VIDEO]
The ALS ice bucket challenge has taken the Internet by storm with both civilians and celebrities participating in the watery game for a good cause.
It’s a simple game — just dump a bucket of ice water over your head. If you don’t want to do the challenge then you must donate $100 to the ALS Association, which is a non-profit organization that fights Lou Gehrig’s disease. Or, you could do both and really support a great cause.
So far, the campaign has raised millions of dollars and continues to go viral.
Young Money leader Lil Wayne and Drake were nominated by various celebrities to participate in the challenge.
Last week, Weezy had a bucket of water dumped on him outside of his studio in front of a group of his friends. The rapper took the water bath in stride — jumping up and down to fight off the frigid liquid.
Meanwhile, Drizzy allowed Wayne to pour water on him during the Pittsburgh stop of their Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour.
Drake then nominated Beyonce to do the challenge. The R&B queen should convince her hubby, Jay Z, to do it too. That will be interesting to see.
Overall, Lil Wayne and Drake are all wet.

Subtle colorways are not the order of the day when it comes to Kasina’s collaboration with New Balance. The two have come together for this smoldering New Balance 580 colorway that makes very effective use of patterns and blocking.
The pair is given a teal tinged soft suede upper cast in light grey which immediately makes the accents even more pronounced. Before you get too enthralled in the hits of teal that pop up on the heel, laces and logo however there is a moth print that finds its way to the toe box, tongue and ankle collar that beckons your attention as well.
These are set to hit shelves at Kasina on Aug. 31 and unfortunately for us stateside they will be exclusive to the Korean retailer. There’s always eBay right?

Air Jordan 6 Retro 'First Championship'
Winning your first championship is something you’d never forget and thusly Michael Jordan still remembers his. So much so that he’s teaming up with Nike to commemorate how big of a deal it is with the “Victory Pack” that is set to include this Air Jordan 6 Retro “First Championship” colorway.
The sneaker is given a white leather upper as pure as the driven snow and the accenting colors are relegated to the sole, heel and tongue of the shoe. Actually as far as accenting colors go this one does a lot with a little as hits of navy and red pop up here and there but are ultimately overpowered by the use of ice blue translucent rubber on the tongue, outsole and heel tab.
There is no release date set yet but surely Nike will throw up the Bat signal when they drop. Our guess is that you’ll probably want to just follow Nikestore‘s twitter account and wait.

Supreme Unveils Fall/ Winter 2014 Collection
With summer winding down, Supreme is getting ready for the climate change and are preparing to launch their Fall/Winter collection. The streetwear brand unveiled their new lookbook and it’s pretty awesome.
The collection boasts hip-hop-inspired T-shirts, bomber jackets, bucket hats, wool caps, an alien-inspired jacket and pea coats.
Some of the standout pieces included a small capsule of T-shirts that features KRS-One’s classic Malcolm X-inspired imagery from ‘By All Means Necessary.’ There’s also a long-sleeve jersey with the Ruff Ryders “R” logo. We also liked the red flag hoodie and a varsity jacket with a number of football team emblems.
Supreme’s fall/winter collection will be available at retail stores in New York, Los Angeles and London on Aug. 21. Folks in Japan will get to cop on Aug. 23. Finally, the collection will be available at their online store on Aug. 28.
