Wale Courts a Beautiful Woman in 'The Body' Video Featuring Jeremih

Rapper Wale is in the mood for love in his new video for ‘The Body’ featuring Jeremih. The song is from his upcoming project, ‘The Album About Nothing.’

In the clip, the DMV rhymer is chilling in his limo when he spots a beautiful woman working her 9-to-5 job. Without missing a beat, Wale jumps out the car and woos the P.Y.T. with his boyish charm. It’s not long before the two go out on a date and the Maybach Music Group rhymer impresses her with food, wine and a good conversation.

R&B crooner Jeremih also appears in the video singing the song’s hook, which is lifted from R. Kelly’s classic slow jam, ‘You Remind Me of Something.’

Wale recently dropped his ‘Festivus’ mixtape, which was inspired by his love for his favorite comedy series, ‘Seinfeld.’

As for his next studio effort, ‘The Album About Nothing,’ Wale hopes to release that in early spring.

Game, Tyga + More Participate in Millions March in Los Angeles [PHOTOS]

Members of the hip-hop community are still continuing their protests over police violence in their urban communities. On Saturday (Dec. 27), rappers Game and Tyga appeared at the Millions March in Los Angeles. The dynamic duo, along with DJ Mustard, was among the thousands of people who marched through the streets of Fairfax and Miracle Mile districts.

According to HipHopDX, the march shut down traffic with throngs of people holding up signs with symbolic drawings of fists and one that read, “I Am A Man! #blacklivesmatter.”

The L.A. version of the Millions March follows behind New York’s Millions March earlier this month. Hip-hop legends Russell Simmons and Nas were among the 30,000 people who marched through the streets of NYC. Indie rappers Immortal Technique, Torae (of the Barrel Brothers) and others were at the New York rally.

Solange Hit With a $55,000 Tax Lien After Marriage

SolangeLarry Busacca, Getty Images

Just days after Solange Knowles tied the knot to her longtime beau, Alan Ferguson, the taxman came knocking at her door looking for his money.

According to TMZ, the R&B songbird owes $55,000 in back taxes for 2010 to 2012 in the state of California. Apparently, the Internal Revenue Service filed the tax lien three days after Solo’s wedding. How rude.

It shouldn’t be a problem for Solange to pay up. The ‘T.O.N.Y.’ singer is label owner and is an Art Director and Creative Consultant for Puma.

Solange is among several musicians who have been hit by the IRS for back taxes in recent months.

Rapper Lil Kim was recently served with a notice that she owes $126,000 in back taxes.

Other artists like Lauryn Hill and Fat Joe had to go to prison for their tax delinquency.

We are quite sure that Solange won’t have to worry about wearing an orange jumpsuit anytime soon.

In the end, when the taxman cometh, he means business, regardless of marital status.

Black Moon Puts on the Camouflage and 'Go to War' on New Song

Black Moon Go to WarSoundcloud Brooklyn’s original gun clappers Black Moon slide through with a new song in the form of a quick one-off called ‘Go to War.’

On the Da Beatminerz-produced track, the Boot Camp Clik leaders waste no time letting listeners know that time hasn’t watered down their guerilla tactics by any means. “This I know for sure, you don’t really wanna go to war, got n—-s and bitches waiting at ‘ya door,” they caution on the hook.

Riding over a sample of the Temptations’ ‘Ball of Confusion (That’s What the World Is Today),’ Buckshot kicks things off spitting clever punchlines with such finesse.

“Less flows, past the point of no return, I’m in Amsterdam, damn, I gotta burn / Not like Usher, I’ll punish the whole firm, cause they won’t recognize the laws they might learn,” he raps.

5 ft proves his worth as well on this outing with his raspy and gritty voice serving as a perfect complement to Buckshot’s more melodic vocals.

“Turn up the turbulence, rock band, disturbing it / When I’m beat-mining, I’m coming through here to murder it,” he spits.

‘Go To War’ is menacing enough to make a retired street vet want to grab their pistol and the vintage boom-bap will please any rap purist.
