Jay Z Only Follows Joe Budden On Twitter (@S_C @)

Jay-Z's activity on Twitter is minimal to say the least.

The rapper caught everyone's attention yesterday when Complex noticed the the rapper was following just one person on Twitter-rapper Joe Budden.

It hasn't always been the case. Just last week, the rapper was following L.A radio personality Devi Dev. With the rapper switching his follow every week, does this mean new projects with particular artists or is the rapper just clowning around?

Today, the rapper is back to the number zero on his following list.

Who do you think he should follow next?

Yeet Dance Inspires a Slew Of Hilarious Memes On The Web

Terrio may have met his match.

A new dance craze similar to the Ooh Kill Em and Nae Nae dance called the Yeet, has gained popularity from a Vine video.

In the vine, a young kid by the name of Lil Meatball did the already popular dance with his friends during school. With Lil Meatball adding air guns to the Yeet, the internet reacted with creative memes that show Meatball flipping burgers, toting guns, and even flying through space.

Eminem Reveals Past Plans to Diss Kanye West, Lil Wayne

When it comes to lyrical diss-a-thons Eminem is not the one to play with. Throughout his career, the Detroit spitfire has taken unapologetic shots at every celebrity in pop culture. During his chat with Power 106’s Big Boy, Em reveals that he wanted to throw lyrical darts at Kanye West and Lil Wayne.

In the interview, Eminem shares the story behind the song ‘Talkin’ 2 Myself’ off the ‘Recovery’ LP, where he mentions that he wanted to diss West and Wayne. It was, at that time, a dark moment in his life when he was using a lot of drugs to numb his pain.

“Anything that was hot at that moment, or anybody who was really killing s— at that moment, I felt so bad about myself and the music that I was creating, that I felt like I started to turn into a hater and it wasn’t just singling Kanye and Wayne out at that time period,” he explains. “For me, it would have been career suicide…there were some really dark moments in there when I think about how my thought process was when I was like, high a lot.”

Eminem is currently preparing for the Monster Tour, the performance trek he’s headlining with Rihanna. The three-city trek begins on Aug. 7 at Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., followed by the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Aug. 16 and Comerica Park in Detroit on Aug. 22.

Eminem says that if he couldn’t do music he would “lose his f—ing mind. “Actually I am the type of person that does have to do music, this is my passion, this is what I’m passionate about,” he shares.

Chris Brown Transferred Into Federal Custody, Headed to Washington D.C.

Chris BrownFrederick M. Brown, Getty Images

Chris Brown is in the hands of the U.S. marshals now. The singer has officially left the Los Angeles jail system and is currently being transported to Washington, D.C., where he’ll appear at an assault trial stemming from an October 2013 incident.

The Los Angeles Times reports the ‘X’ creator was taken from “LA cell block” at 5:15PM on Tuesday (April 1) and entered the San Bernardino County jail to await transport to D.C., his lawyer Mark Gegaros said.

Earlier this week, Gegaros attempted to block the order to have Brown transferred because it would jeopardize their attorney-client conversation time before the trial.

The ‘Loyal’ crooner is headed to D.C., for an April 17 trial date. Brown is accused of beating a man who apparently tried to take a photo of him outside of the W Hotel. He faces a misdemeanor assault charge from that incident.

Brown was initially ordered to jail because he was thrown out of a rehab facility, which violated a deal he made with Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin.

The troubled entertainer was originally sentenced to remain in jail until April 23. Now that he is facing a misdemeanor charge on April 17 in court, Brown could possibly stay behind bars even longer if he’s found guilty.

Yo Gotti Signs Milwaukee Rapper Wave Chapelle

Wave ChapelleYouTube

Yo Gotti is helping an aspiring rapper get his shine in the rap game. The Memphis native has signed Milwaukee rap upstart Wave Chapelle to his label CMG.

Gotti and Chapelle’s friendship started back in January when the ‘Act Right’ rapper started following the 20-year-old newbie on Twitter. Chapelle tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that it was a surreal moment to see a big-time rapper follow him on the social networking website.

“I was tripping, my heart was pounding heavy,” recalls Chapelle, who is a student at LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tenn. “I had never seen Yo Gotti, never came across him, so for him to follow me was random.”

“Ten minutes later he sent me his number in a direct message,” he continued. “I jumped out of my seat, and I straight-up freaked out, [screaming], ‘Gotti gave me his number!’”

Yo Gotti says Chapelle’s rep and his music were some of the things that caught his eye and ears.

“I heard from a couple young dudes [in Memphis] talking about [Wave's] music over and over again,” he said. “He’s very lyrical… he holds a lane of music that’s different from mine, but he owns his lane of music. Once he releases his music, people are going to gravitate toward it.”

After a brief meeting in January, Gotti and Chapelle spent two months working together in the studio. After performing a slew of shows, including a set at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March, Chapelle officially signed to Gotti’s CMG label, which is distributed through Epic Records.

Chapelle has been putting out music way before he caught the attention of Gotti. So far, the young rapper has dropped nine videos and a mixtape called ‘It’ll All Make Sense Soon.’

You could say rapping in his blood. His father is rapper F1 Diamond out of Memphis.

“I have a very memorable moment when he took me to the studio for the first time when I was 5 or 6. I’ve had that image in my mind ever since,” he tells the Journal Sentinel. “I wrote my first song when I was in fourth grade. It was the worst rap ever. I have it balled up in a drawer in my mom’s house.”

Now that he’s a signed artist, Chapelle is looking forward to the future of making a name for himself in the rap game.

“I’ve been working toward this my whole life, literally since middle school. I wanted to make my mom proud, and I knew I could do it through music,” he says. “I have four projects worth of music on my hard drive. I’m still in the stage of trying to figure out what I’ll put out first for the next mixtape. Basically, it will be a sequel to what I already have out. It’s me narrating my life from getting to Memphis to where I’m at now.”

Bus Stop Sniper Prank Has People Running in Terror

What would you do if a sniper's bullet took out the poor sap sitting next to you at the bus stop? If you're like most people, you'd probably trip over yourself trying to get the heck out of the area, which is exactly what folks did in this prank from Boom!

The gag joins the trend of many pranks today which aim for terror instead of laughs.

Heineken Presents 'The Guest of Honor' Video [SPONSORED]

Imagine Rihanna leading a circus as a ringmaster or Jay Z teaching a dance class. Sounds a little crazy, right? While activities like this aren’t the norm for these superstars, it doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be up to the challenge. That’s the premise of Heineken’s Challenger series, in which the focus is getting people out of their comfort zone and involved in some extraordinary things.

‘The Guest of Honor’ highlights just that. Six unsuspecting people attend a one-night only theater experience at the McKittrick Hotel in New York City but little do they know they’re not just there to watch. They’re the star of the show. Men and women get thrown into the spotlight for an evening of unexpected challenges. From tattooing a creepy-looking man to doing stand-up comedy, they take the stage with no clue of what’s to come.

Boldy James Delivers 'Come Here' Video With Peechie Green

Boldy James has earned a lot of attention in the past year, particularly for his critically-acclaimed album, ‘My 1st Chemistry Set,’ produced by the Alchemist. Fresh off a major co-sign from Nas, who brought James onstage to perform during the Mass Appeal showcase at SXSW in Austin, Texas, it’s interesting to see the Detroit, Mich., rapper revisit his single ‘Come Here’ from last year’s ‘Grand Quarters’ EP for a new music video.

The Block Beattaz-produced track features heavy use of Auto-Tune and is far different from the grimy formula James is typically associated with up to this point in his career. In fact, the song sees his rhyme partner Peechie Green deliver more of the in-your-face style that is expected from James. But despite the radio-friendly aesthetic, James continues to cover his familiar subject matter.

“Talking so many pounds, not to mention them brickies / Ain’t have time to break it down cause we sold ‘em so quickly / Had to buy another house, they was onto the splizzy / More bounce to the ounce, now I’m on with that rizzy,” he raps.

You can purchase Boldy James’ ‘Grand Quarters’ EP on iTunes. And if you haven’t already, do yourself a favor by purchasing his ‘My 1st Chemistry Set’ album, in stores now.

Supreme x Nike Foamposite Sneaker Release Causes Major Chaos [VIDEO]

As we surmised, the Supreme x Nike Foamposite Ones are the hottest sneakers of the spring season. How hot are they? They’re so hot the release of the shoe almost created a near-riot outside of the Supreme store in New York City Wednesday night (April 2).

According to the NY Post, hundreds of sneakerheads lined up in front of Supreme at 7PM with hopes of copping the sneakers at midnight. The $250 kicks were scheduled to go on sale at 11AM Thursday (April 3) and police had to set up barricades to control the crowd.

But according to an eyewitness, someone tried to jump the line and pandemonium ensued.

“Some belligerent guy in the front of the line tried to bum-rush the door,” said Bradley James. “He started yelling and then somebody else started yelling and before you knew it, the crowd was rushing toward the store.”

The enormous crowd got so unruly that police had to pepper-spray people and Supreme had to cancel their in-store launch. As a result, the brand moved sales to their e-commerce site.

“There was no way to control that chaos. It was a mob riot,” said James. “The cops came after a few minutes and started macing people. I thought to myself, ‘Somebody’s going to get killed over these sneakers!’”

If you want to cop the foams at Supreme’s online store, you’re out of luck. At 11:02AM they were officially sold out.

Model From The Weeknd Music Video Reveals She Was Born Male (@geenarocero)

Model and activist Geena Rocero left many shocked after she revealed at a TED Talk last week that she was born a male. Rocero then announced the launch of Gender Proud, a campaign aimed at bringing awareness to the fact that only a few countries allow transgender people to update the gender on their legal documentation without first having to undergo forced sterilization or genital surgery.

Having legal documentation that doesn't match one's appearance can be a major source of anxiety for transgender individuals and opens the door for discrimination.

Rocero is probably best known as the woman who stars alongside The Weeknd in the super trippy music video for his song "The Knowing."

2 Chainz Charged With Felony Drug Possession

2 ChainzRick Kern, Getty Images

Looks like 2 Chainz‘s actions are coming back to haunt him. After being arrested last year on narcotics possession, the rapper has been charged with felony drug possession.

The crime stems from 2 Chainz’s arrest on June 11, 2013, at the Los Angeles International Airport, where he was found with marijuana and a bottle of promethazine with codeine in his checked baggage.

TMZ reports that he was charged with codeine possession, which is punishable by up to three years in prison.

Wearing handcuffs in an airport isn’t new to the ‘B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time’ creator. In 2012, he was arrested at New York’s LaGuardia Airport for carrying brass knuckles.

Drake Slows It Down on 'Days in the East'

OVOOVO

Drake ditches the hard raps and slows things down on his new song ‘Days in the East.’

The Toronto native has other things on his mind than giving the lady in his presence advice on her troubled relationship. “Why you keep asking me about / Couple other things I’d rather do than talk about that right now / Told you ’bout giving him chances on chances on chances / He’s not holding you down he’s holding you back right now,” Drizzy delivers.

From wanting her to take control to feeling weird about inviting himself to chill with her, Drake lays it all on the line. He even recalls a memorable visit to Erykah Badu’s house. “She made tea for me / We talked about love and what life could really be for me / She said when that s— is real you just know / And I was thinkin’ ’bout you, you already know,” he rhymes.

Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea Debut 'I'm Coming Out'

Keyshia Cole Iggy AzaleaErika Goldring / Anthony Harvey, Getty Images

Last month, a video of Irv Gotti listening to a song featuring Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea circulated around the internet. From the visual, it seemed as though the two ladies were singing a rendition of Biggie’s ‘Mo Money Mo Problems.’

However, the track is actually a spin on Diana Ross’ classic ‘I’m Coming Out,’ which the late Brooklyn rhymer sampled on his lauded tune. Now the final effort arrives, which will appear on the soundtrack to the romantic comedy ‘The Other Woman.’

On the Irv Gotti and Reefa-produced club banger, Iggy is fed up with her past relationships and needs a night out. “All of my exes mad ’cause they was playin’ so I hit my homegirls and told ‘em I can’t stay in,” she raps.

“For too long, you kept me in the dark / I won’t let you break my heart no more,” Keyshia sings.

‘The Other Woman,’ which features Nicki Minaj and Cameron Diaz, hits theaters April 25.

Both Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea will release albums this year. The latter’s debut LP ‘The New Classic’ arrives April 22 while Cole’s ‘Point of No Return’ is scheduled for a fall arrival.
