Watch Mya Dancing in a Strip Club, Fans React on Twitter [VIDEO]

Last Night @kissmya Put On A Legendary Show!!!!! #FrontRow lol

A video posted by DESTINED FOR GREATNESS (@flylifestyl3) on Jan 24, 2015 at 7:47am PST

Back in the late ‘90s through early 2000s, Mya was one of the hottest triple-threats in the R&B game — she could act, dance and sing. Not only that, she was every man’s fantasy thanks to King magazine. But a recent video of her dancing in a strip club has raised some eyebrows.

According to Bossip, Mya was performing at G5ive, a popular strip club in Miami, in support of her latest single. If you watch the video, the R&B songstress’ dancing skills are not as impressive as her footwork in the ‘My Love Is Like…Wo‘ video. But it’s in a strip club, so what do you expect?

When the video surfaced online, reactions were mixed with fans supporting Mya earning a living, while others are sadden that their favorite R&B singer has fallen from grace.

Former ‘106 & Park’ rapper Bow Wow, now known as Shad Moss, also took some shots at Mya and Black Twitter quickly reminded him of the mistakes he has made as of late.

Tiny Doo Released, Still Faces Life In Prison Over Rap Lyrics [VIDEO]

Tiny Doo, the rapper whose song lyrics prosecutors claim promoted gang culture and violence in San Diego, Calif., has been released from jail. But his case is far from over.

Doo, whose real name is Brandon Duncan, recently appear on CNN with his attorney, Brian Watkins, to discuss this baffling legal case, which clearly violates his First Amendment right to freely express himself.

The San Diego rapper faces nine counts of criminal street gang conspiracy because prosecutors alleged that he profited from the violent actions of a gang. They believe Doo’s album, ‘No Safety,’ increased his and the gang’s stature in San Diego and that his lyrics are a direct correlation to the rash of shootings in the city in 2013.

Doo denies any involvement in a gang and doesn’t have a criminal record. Last month, he pleaded not guilty to gang conspiracy charges.

In his interview with Don Lemon, Doo says he’s just painting true stories about the street life through his music.

“The studio is my canvas. I’m just painting a picture,” he said. “I’m not telling anybody to go out and kill somebody.”

If convicted on these charges, the 25-year-old rapper could face life in prison.

Doo believes that San Diego prosecutors are not trying to stamp out gangs in their city but rather black men.

“These people have you scared to do anything around here,” he stated. “I feel like they are trying to eradicate black men.”

Bobby Shmurda's Gun Charge Dismissed, Trial Begins Next Week

Bobby ShmurdaYouTube

Embattled rapper Bobby Shmurda received some good news earlier this week as he sits in prison on a multitude of charges, including conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and more.

According to Revolt, the New York rhymer’s Brooklyn gun case will get dismissed thanks to his gung-ho attorney Howard Greenberg.

“Brooklyn D.A. office announced that the gun case in Brooklyn will be dismissed in about two weeks,” he told the website.

The Brooklyn case he’s referring to involves an incident in which Shmurda allegedly fired a gun at a crowd of people outside of a barbershop. There was also another incident in which the ‘Hot N—-’ rapper was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia after police discovered two loaded guns and drug paraphernalia inside his Brooklyn apartment.

Greenberg also dispel rumors that’s been circulating on the web that Shmurda was seriously injured in a prison brawl and is in the infirmary in critical condition.

“Bullshit,” he said. “Saw him [last week] in court. He looked fantastic.”

Although Shmurda’s gun case is no more, the rapper has a Jan. 29 trial on a myriad of other criminal charges. Greenberg seems confident that his client will be cleared on those cases as well.

“Brooklyn is done and now it’s on to Manhattan, where we need to teach these adversaries a lesson,” he said.

It looks like a war is brewing between two of the biggest moguls in the rap game. Settlement talks have deteriorated and now it seems that Lil Wayne will sue Birdman and Cash Money Records.

According to TMZ, Weezy is reportedly going to slap Baby with an $8 million lawsuit for violating his contract and holding his oft-delayed album, ‘Tha Carter V,’ hostage. The two have been in negotiations this past week and they could not reach an agreement.

As we previously reported, Wayne says that ‘TC5’ is complete but Baby believes that it still needs work. As for Weezy’s $8 million claim, the Cash Money CEO reportedly said that it was a loan.

Birdman also stated that he will release the album “in due time,” but Wayne is not hearing any of that.

In fact, Tunechi spits a few lyrical shots at Birdman on his new ‘Sorry 4 the Wait 2’ mixtape. On a freestyle over O.T. Genasis’ song ‘CoCo,’ the rapper describes Cash Money as a “garden full of snakes” and compares signing to the label as doing a prison bid.

“Did my time in Cash Money, time served and released / But this agent ain’t free, word, that’s the word on these streets,” he raps.

Attorneys for both Lil Wayne and Birdman had no comment on the matter.

Beyonce Tells Etsy to Stop Using Her Name on 'Feyonce' Merchandise

If you ever had a business idea or a saying that you wanted to put on a shirt or cup, it better not have Beyonce‘s name on it, because you’ll immediately be checked by the Queen Bey.

According to TMZ, that’s exactly what happened to the website Etsy, after folks behind the site starting selling mugs with the term “Feyoncé” on it, which became a popular gift for engaged couples.

The mere fact that the mugs reached the R&B superstar’s radar only goes to show how in-demand they were and how much they were actually selling. However, Beyonce never gave permission and hasn’t received one dollar from the sales of the merchandise.

Eventually, the crafts e-commerce website complied with the wishes of Queen Bey’s lawyers and removed the mugs, but the problem still persists, because they’ve created all sorts of Feyoncé merchandise, including T-shirts and drinking glasses, which are still for sale.

There’s a chance that Etsy is slowly removing all the items and they will be eventually gone in time. On the other hand, there’s also a possibility they’re still trying to make a few bucks off the Beyonce name. We’ll keep our eye out and follow up with any new developments with this story.
