A juror in Da Brat's civil trial is in hot water for lying repeatedly while under oath about being an American citizen.
The unidentified man is a legal resident of Atlanta but not a U.S. citizen, yet he swore to the judge three different times that he was.
The judge was forced to declare a mistrial so that an entire new jury could be selected, and was understandably furious with the lying juror.
He berated the man for costing the county $25,000 in court costs and then declared him to be in contempt and ordered him hauled off to jail.
Da Brat is being sued for allegedly bashing a rum bottle over the head of a former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader.
