Jay Z Instructed To Give Deposition In Roc-A-Fella Lawsuit (@S_C)

In a recent lawsuit from Dwyane Walker, the man behind the Roc-A-Fella Records logo, Jay Z has been named to give a deposition in court on the case.

According to AllHipHop, Walker is suing Dame Dash, Jay Z and Universal Music for breach of contract and copyright infringement.

Walker claims that he never was paid compensation for creating the logo that amounted in 2% earnings ten years after the first year of use. Walker was paid $3,500 for the logo but never royalties. He also claims that he's owed over $5 million dollars.

Walker's attorney Gregory Berry says that the defendants are avoiding the depositions.

"We are pleased with the court's order," said Walker's attorney Gregory Berry he said."For over 18 months Jay Z and the other defendants have done everything they can to avoid swearing under oath to the events that led to the creation of the logo. With the decision today, the defendants' delay tactics must stop, and Mr. Walker's quest for justice can move forward."
