Bodega Bamz Salutes El Barrio in 'Glorious' Video

Rapper Bodega Bamz takes viewers to el barrio of Spanish Harlem in his new video for ‘Glorious.’ The song is from his 2012 mixtape, ‘Strictly 4 My P.A.P.I.Z.’

Directed by Darryl “Filth” Phillips, the clip features the Tanboys leader recalling his formers days as a street hustler on the block and the fame that came along with it.

“Since a juvenile, bitches call me chulo / Smacking cash on their culo, ’cause I know they like it duro / And I’m half Dominicano / Loading up those hollows / Cocaina in my sala / Sniff it off my palo,” he raps.

Bamz also pays tribute to the late Big L by featuring shots of his mural, his Harlem neighborhood and mementos provided by his family. Of course, the song samples the late rapper’s posthumous song ‘Deadly Combination‘ featuring Tupac Shakur.
