We have some good news to report in regards to Beanie Sigel’s health after being shot in New Jersey last year. The Philadelphia rhymer was released from the hospital over the weekend.
On Monday (Jan. 5), former State Property rapper Neef Buck broke the news on his Instagram account of Sigel’s release from the hospital. The photo features what appears to be the Philly rapper getting out of a wheelchair and climbing into a waiting SUV.
“Alhamdulillah !!!! Masha allah !!! MY BOY IS HOME !!!!!” reads the caption on the photo.
NBC 10 Philadelphia has also confirmed that Sigel, whose real name is Dwight Grant, is out of the hospital and is at home recuperating.
No word on Sigel’s current health status, but during his stay in the hospital, the ‘Feel It In The Air’ creator was in critical condition with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
As we previously reported, Beans was shot in the chest on Dec. 5 during a family altercation in Pleasantville, N.J. Police say that the rapper was not the intended target.
Authorities still have no suspects or leads in the case. Investigators also remain frustrated because family members aren’t cooperating.
In the end, we want to wish Beanie Sigel a healthy and speedy recovery.
