A medical salesman from Philadelphia was arrested after $350,000 worth of skin grafts went missing at the Mercy Philadelphia Hospital.
According to SFGate, Gary Dudek charged with theft, receiving stolen property and tampering with records. As a sales rep for the bioscience department of the hospital, the 54-year old duties include ordering packages of skin grafts. When a large amount went missing, all signs pointed to Dudek.
Dudek ordered an extra 200 grafts without permission in the hospital's name. Police suspect that the rep was going to sell them on the side to prospective buyers.
Each graft is worth $1700.
