Mary J. Blige knows how to deal with drama, she’s been singing about it throughout her storied career. The R&B queen returns with a new song called, ‘Suitcase,’ which deals with the turmoil in a tumultuous relationship.
On the song, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is packing her bags and saying goodbye to an unforgiving boyfriend who always makes her cry.
“You gonna wake up in the morn and find out that I’m already gone / Got a one-way ticket, here’s your goodbye song / And while you’re trying to explain, I’ll be zipping up my suitcase,” she sings over a trap-inspired beat.
The bouncy song will appear on the ‘Think Like a Man, Too’ soundtrack, which hits stores June 17.
Meanwhile, the film, a sequel to 2012′s ‘Think Like a Man,’ will open in theaters on June 20. The Tim Story-directed flick stars Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall and others.
