Tony Yayo Fires Back at 50 Cent: I Took Bullets for G-Unit (@50cent, @tonyyayo)

50 Cent recently hit up NYC's The Breakfast Club to talk in depth about new music, family and the recent tension between himself and former G-Unit allies, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. Both artists had big hits and equally impressive sales early in their careers, but have since fallen off the radar. 50 obviously noticed the two rappers lose fans' attention, and said in regards to Yayo:

"Some people are like milk...they have an expiration date."

Many Hip-Hop fans were taken aback by the comment, feeling that 50 and Yayo's friendship went back much further than the music, and that such a comment would've been better kept in close circles.

Yayo took to Twitter to express his disappointment in 50's comment, saying he took bullets for the crew and was a major part in building its brand.

Peep the tweet above. Was 50 out of line for his comment, or simply stating facts?
