After the success of Kendrick Lamar's "good kid, m.A.A.d city" album for 2012, the world has been waiting on Kendrick to follow-up big. But little is known about Kendrick's forthcoming sophomore album, other than that he's been working with Scoop DeVille. However, in a recent interview with Vice's iD, Kendrick revealed what the tone of the album might be.
When Kendrick was asked how he was enjoying his visit to the UK, the "Control" rapper admitted to enjoying the gloomy weather, which he says aids in his creative process.
"I love it. Y'all weather's a bit gloomy right now, I like gloomy weather," said K. Dot. "I work best and do most of my album under gloomy weather, so you'll hear a lot of dark tracks in there."
What do you think about Kendrick's next album possibly having a 'dark' undertone? Is that something you'd be looking forward to hearing from K. Dot? Chime in below.
