Amber Rose has been immersed in drama since the close of last year.
Her and Wiz have split up, they’re going through a nasty custody battle and now her and Khloé Kardashian are going at each other.
So what’s the best thing for the Philadelphia native to do? Leave all of that behind and head to Trinidad and Tobago for Carnival.
Rose took to her Instagram page, and posted photos and videos of herself having a splendid time. She also wrote this caption in one of the posts: “Men aren’t the only ones that can have fun on tour … women can too. #Umad. Trini men tho???”
There’s one shot that captures the 31-year-old posing in full Carnival make-up with another attendee. She also posted a full body shot of herself showing off her skimpy costume.
The best posts, however, are the videos. There’s one that shows the newly separated mom swirling her hips, showing why she’s become a sex-symbol to so many. There’s another vid that shows her grinding against a lucky Carnival goer, who couldn’t look more content.
Without a doubt, Amber is dusting off her recent dramas and replacing them with warm weather, good food and music. Its a stark contrast to what she’s been surrounded with lately–bickering, name calling and insults. It seems like her trip to the Caribbean island couldn’t have been more timely.
Just yesterday (Feb. 17), TMZ reported that Rose’s estranged husband, Wiz Khalifa, is looking for more custody of their one-year-old son Sebastian. He claims that she spends too much time partying and being away and not enough time with their child.
It’ll be interesting to see if the rapper uses these new Instagram posts to build his custody case, although there’s no telling if Sebastian is in Trinidad too.
Regardless, the photos look beautiful and so does Amber. Hopefully, she’ll come back refreshed and ready to put the last several months behind her.
