For those of you waiting for some new material from The-Dream, well, your dreams have now been fulfilled. The singer-songwriter is prepping two new EPs, titled ‘Crown’ and ‘Jewel,’ and both are due out this year.

The first offering, ‘Crown,’ which boasts The-Dream’s latest single ‘That’s My S—,’ is slated to hit stores on March 31. The follow-up EP, ‘Jewel,’ will arrive later.

The Radio Killah reunited with his longtime collaborator Christopher “Tricky” Stewart for both of the projects. Apparently the two EPs are just appetizers before the main course — a new full-length album. The ‘Falsetto’ singer’s last album was ‘IV Play,’ which dropped in 2013.

The-Dream says the EPs show two different sides of his musical style.

“‘Crown’ is more modern R&B, and ‘Jewel’ will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side, the songs I might have given to other artists before,” he explains. “If you put me in a box, ‘Jewel’ is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in — every year I’m expanding and growing, and it makes for a more interesting plot.”

The-Dream recently shot a video for ‘That’s My S—,’ which you can buy right now on iTunes.
